We went on the Sunday of the Grand Final long weekend. Website said open until 6 pm. We arrived at 4pm to be told the kitchen was already closed (luckily we'd already eaten), they had one shiraz on the drinks menu (I don't drink beer, but went for my husband) which was awful. It had zero atmosphere. Wont be rushing back
What a lovely find during our trip to the Peninsula. Tucked away in between ferns and forest. Immediately facing fresh hop vines as soon as you park, you walk past the brewhouse and into a cozy bar and seating area surrounded by lemon trees et al. Fantastic scenery to enjoy a great local beer. Can't wait to be back!
Came for lunch, waited 45 mins just for drinks. Asked when they were coming and was told they’d be brought out. Waited another 20. Went in to ask at bar to be told they couldn’t find the order slip. Guy with dark hair was helpful, female with dark hair was not and had a poor attitude. General service was poor.
Nice atmosphere with a chill outdoor setting. Only had drinks and they were good. Scotch ale and the sessions IPA. I thought the scotch ale was a bit flat but flavours were still good and I’d still recommend it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Small menu but this place plays to their strengths. The brisket burger was insane, and they did not hold back on the brisket. Sitting outside surrounded by beautiful trees and rustic furniture with the sun shining was the best part. Staff really friendly too!
Nice little boutique brewery, surprisingly delicious sweet potato chips! I did the tasting paddle, the rip pale ale & east coast pale ale were my standouts. Some excellent take away packs, I got the 9 pack mix cans for $45 (3 stouts, 3 pale ales & 3 IPA)
Nice place to sit and chill solo or with friends. Beer was great, as was the music and beer garden ambience, but food is very restricted outside of lunch. Very cut back bar snack food menu only runs till 5.30, after that it's peanuts and pretzels.
As a very infrequent beer drinkers, we really came here for the burgers and were not disappointed. Both the pork shoulder and Korean fried chicken burgers were very generous in size and packed full of flavor. Likewise the jalapeño poppers!!
Highly recommend a visit to the brewery if you're in the area! Staff were very friendly and knowledgable re: different beers, and the venue served great food (missed the lunch menu by the time we got there but the snack options were yum!).
I was in the area and I stopped with the intention of having a treat. The location is nice and homey, there were firepits outsuds next to the tables and blankets to keep you warm. It was nice and quiet, when we arrivedarrived were welcomed
After six wineries, beer is certainly in order. Red Hill Brewery is a must, even if you don’t like beer. The vines that you see everywhere are now interrupted by ten-foot-tall hops. A ‘sample paddle’ of beer is the best way to start here.
Great little brewery with some very good beers. The service was fast and very friendly, and the food was great though a little pricey for the serving size. We had the $99 BBQ platter that the menu suggests serves 2-4 (though it does say 4
I really wish I could give two reviews, one for the brewery and one for the restaurant. The food, while amazing, is pretty overpriced; $8 for a (very) small tub of red cabbage slaw? The tasting paddle was a good option, but why can't the
Came here on a rainy day and the place was PACKED. It was rather hard to find a place to sit as it was busy and rainy, but the tables moved relatively quickly and the food was good. We had the jalapeno sausage, woodsmoked meat and salad
Great atmosphere. The beer garden has a great and quiet ambience. My hot chocolate and the home made beers were good too. We ordered loaded fries but the ratio of cheese, sauce and meat wasn’t proportionate but was later rectified. The
Great food and atmosphere. We had the share feast which was super tasty but if you don't like spicy food stay away from the chicken wings as they have some kick to them! My friend thoroughly enjoyed laughing at my reaction!
Beers were good but food extremely average. Burgers were okay but ribs were cold and dry. Still cold after second reheating. Not the best value for money. Okay to stop by for a beer but would not recommend food there.
We ordered food and they forgot about our order. After bringing it to their attention we watched 5 groups walk in and watch them get their food before they rectified our order. Terrible service.
I enjoy this visit a lot and it is a kids friendly Brewery. Staffs are friendly and efficient. It’s an extraordinary place for lunch before or after your cherry/ berry picking with your kids.
Stopped in here for a few drinks and a bite! Great atmosphere and staff. Loved the old barn feel. Beer prices a bit steep (which loses a star), but apart from that, couldn’t fault the visit.
Had a good time winding down here, watching the sunset. The place is very peaceful. Food was good, I'd like to come back to try more!! I'm not a big beer drinker but these were good!
Staff seemed dazed and confused, food came out before the drinks that were ordered 10 mins earlier, 2 of our party of 4 had finished their meals before the other 2 recieved theirs.
Casual dining and drinks option when down in Red Hill. You can smell the hops in the air, and look straight into the brewery. Get the tasting paddle to sample the four beers on tap.
I really enjoy this brewery. Beer is the best I’ve tasted… the Scotch Ale on tap is a-mazing. Last time we went they weren’t doing food, which was a shame, but now they have
Maybe it is a midweek/ Thursday lunch thing, but we got here at 12.45pm, got told there were only 3 items available off the menu. There was only 1 other couple here.
Awesome little brewery tucked into the bush. Great beers and great food, well priced too considering what others charge in the area. Accomodating to big groups too
Lovely little brewery that produces excellent beers ( and ciders) Ordered the Rueben burger, loaded tater tots and the ribs. The burger was
Lovely brewery with an excellent range of beers and a charming back garden. They grow their own hops, and know their beer really well.
Banquet was very average for $100. Tiny cup of chips for 3 people. Customer service was sluggish and industrial. Go to a winery.
Best Kolsch outside of Köln - perfect for Australian summer! And best Scotch ale - outside of Scotland for Australian winter!
Weekends and holidays are very busy and the environment is very good. The size of the food is smaller. Beer is recommended
Great atmosphere and service, excellent cold beer . Had the Brisket with slaw & chips highly recommend. …
great food and beer brewed on site, and the owner Sean is a legend. Venue is beautiful too, 100% recommend
If you’re after a refreshing beer and a great lunch Red Hill Brewery is the place to be on the peninsula.
Yummy food however staff was a bit rude. Plus the beer paddles weren’t even full to the top for tasting.
Nice brewery! Great paddle. Extra good food. Well worth a visit! Great coffee. Grab some merchandise!
Great Brewery came across / friendly staff/ nice food / atmosphere/& Great Outdoor Beer Garden!!
One of my absolute favourite breweries. Beer is always awesome and the service likewise.
