I obviously dont shop at reitman's, but my neighbour does and she just showed me 2 pair of pants with the tags still on. She tried to return them and was told to call the 1-800 number. So she called Then she emailed. Her ask was not for money back but instead a store credit. She ordered sizes 8 sizes too small. She was told (I saw the emails), that based on reitman's policy... they could not be returned. She is, rightfully, telling her entire facebook and neighborhood about this. Talk about a corporate mistake. How tone deaf is reitman's when times are this tough that they would not let a single mother just return 2 pair of jeans. She didnt even want money back. Only to return for a store credit. Shame on you reitman's.

My wife had an interesting encounter at this Reitman's. She came in to do a price adjustment today March 14th around 6:30pm and she was aggressively challenged by the clerk saying that "I know that you didn't pay full price for this". My wife told her to look at the receipt to prove it. The clerk then proceeded to say that the policy is 10 days to do a price adjustment but my wife pointed out that the back of the receipt says 14 days. She then proceeded to challenge my wife saying that it has been on sale for a while and why did she wait so long. This clerk challenged everything that my wife said. This sales person is extremely unprofessional and my wife will think twice of going back.

I’ve shopped here for a number of years and have always enjoyed my experience there. The sales staff are friendly and very helpful. Because of back and leg issues, I have a hard time trying on clothes in their stalls so they let me bring all sorts of clothes home to try them on where I’m more comfortable and can take my time. Now that COVID is disrupting all our lives, I’m not sure if I can do this anymore. Nevertheless, I’ll still shop at my favourite place in Ottawa.

Reitmans is a meh company over the years. Over priced and not great quality clothing as they used to be better. Interacted with a Samantha and she made my choice not to spend another dime at Reitmans. She's being paid to work in customer service, the least she can do is smile? Obviously she hates her job but you're getting money for it so be respectful to customers and have the decency to smile, Samantha. Not helpful at all

Great selection of clothing and the quality is great as well! They are having many sales right now. I recommend checking it out! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish I would have asked this one sale's associate's name as she really helped out my grand daughter when out of nowhere she had a massive nose bleed and she took the time to help her! If you read this... Thank you so much!!
