My family enjoy the food there so I had to accompany them. We picked the restaurant side since no one of us drink alcohol. The waitress wasn't aware of the poster on the front door that advertised low prices for some food items. We had to go back to take a look and notice it was only in the bar section (why didn't the waitress know about their promotions or told us it was only there?). The temperature of the room was cold. Not all the food items were on the menu as well. Cappuccino brewery was broken too. There were lots of people, it was noisy as it gets. I got the wrong food item order but I was too hungry to care but my food intolerance got the best of me (and I've told them about it prior to this but I wasn't aware gravy sauce was made with ingredients I'm intolerant and neither did the waitress probably). Not really a good experience overall and I never had a positive experience at any Normandin I went to for years but hey, family picks always wins and some people enjoy highly pricey food. My family said the waitress wasn't keen on refilling the glasses of soft drinks or the coffee though so let's say : 2/5

Have been going for years at this restaurant for breakfast everytime we stay in Quebec City . Went again this week with 14 people and breafast is still very good along with a friendly waitress we got . Went back on Sunday with a reservation we had for over 1 week for 12pm for 20 people . Well we waited over 1 hour to get a table nothing was ready for our group not what you expect when you have kids and babies. We waited again more then 1h30 to get our food.. We left the restaurant around 3h30. Just crazy to go somewhere for a restaurant and have to stay all that time. Poor waitress did her best but the restaurant is so much shortstaff that it's not fun at all. Lots of people at the door that left because of all the waiting time. Was the food good yes it was. The poor waitress I give her a 5 star but the restaurant will get a 2 for the lack of caring of there customers.

Ce n'est pas ma première fois dans un Normandin. Celui-ci à Beauport, c'était ma première fois et ma dernière. Le monsieur à l'accueil était très gentil! Que dire de la serveuse (que je nommerai pas par respect) et de son service.... Service rapide pour les breuvages mais pas pour le reste. (à noter que le restaurant était vide) Le plat de mon fils de 2 ans arrivé rapidement. (non servi par elle) Mon repas une simple lasagne demi portion... plus de 20 min à attendre. Jamais eu un remplissage d'eau, jamais venu nous voir pour s'assurer que tout était correct (chose que la majorité des serveurs/serveuses font), ma facture garoché, ah oui... sans compter que l'entrée de froot loops à mon 2 ans est arrivée à la fin de son repas, malgré un bon pourboire.... aucun remerciements ni salutations (choses normalement fait par le personnels) p.s. Je n'ai jamais été déplacé envers qui que se soit et je suis toujours respectueuse envers les gens. Donc, très mauvaise expérience pour nous!

Commande téléphonique faite inadéquatement on a demandé une livraison pour une heure bien précise en le répétant 2 fois mais la personne qui a pris la commande a inscrit l'heure avec 1hre plus tard sans nous aviser Notre dîner de Noël d employés s est transformé en dîner à la vitesse éclair car la commande est arrivé 1hre en retard vu l erreur lors de la commande et en même temps que les repas de nos résidents. Vraiment très ordinaire comme service. Ce diner qui devait etre un diner de partage et de plaisir s est transformé en diner plus que rapide et avons perdu notre temps de diner. Très déçue surtout qu on lui avait mentionné l importance de l heure de livraison vu nos obligations au travail. Il nous manquait aussi tous les condiments ketchup mayo beurre demandés. Des frites pas de ketchup ni mayo c est pas super Je ne commanderai plus à cet endroit et ne recommande pas ce resto.

La nourriture a été excellente. J’ai pris le savoureux bol quinoa poulet avec la délicieuse vinaigrette et un dessert, un succulent brownie et crème glacé. Le bémol est le service. Elles ne sont même pas venu remplir mon verre et j’étais toujours en train d’essayer de lui faire signe pour venir à la table et ça prenait souvent du temps avant qu’elle vienne. Je suis venue seule et j’ai passé 1h15 minutes dans le resto alors ça vous donne une idée. C’est comme si parce que j’étais seule j’étais moins importante c’est l’impression que ça me donnait. Bref le service était médiocre. J’ai donné un bon pourboire mais ce n’était pas mérité. Malgré la nourriture délicieuse le service est important pour moi alors je ne reviendrai pas.

Habituellement bon service et bonne nourriture. Ce soir dimanche, très mauvais service, avons attendu un bon 45 minutes avant de demander à la serveuse si on nous avait oubliés. C'était effectivement le cas. Pour couronner le tout les plats demandés sont arrivés tièdes dans nos assiettes. La pizza detrempait dans l'eau du spaghetti mal egoutte. Ceci arrive assez souvent le dimanche soir. On nous dit manque de personnel autant en salle à manger que dans la cuisine. Très mauvaise expérience pour mon mari et moi.

Restaurant Normandin dans l'arrondissement de Beauport. Il est proche des hôtels et aussi a proximité de l'autoroute qui permet facilement de se rendre au centre ville de la ville de Québec. De plus il est facile de se rendre a l'autoroute 40 à partir de ce lieu. La nourriture est bonne et le service est impeccable. Il y a une section bar dans le restaurant ou des parties de sports sont diffusés sur les téléviseurs.

Very unpleasant service. Dinned in twice just because we stayed at the hotel nearby. The first night the waitress forgot our soup. We were OK with that since the platter was big enough. The second night was the worst. The same waitress mixed up the ordered dishes, forgot our salads, was unable to prepare our drinks and in the end after still being nice and tipped her with 7.5%, came back asking for more tip suggesting that 15% is customary. That thing really infuriated me. I told her the tip was fair enough for the service she provided. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Une belle équipe, notre serveuse était plus qu'occupée pour une personne seule en plus prise avec une cliente pas satisfaite... j'ai assisté à la scène elle a bien géré la situation...ensuite elle a demandé de l'aide à ses collègues et comme par magie 3 d'entre elles sont venues l'aider bravo à toute l'équipe !

Expérience particulière puisque je m'y suis rendu en groupe dans le cadre d'un voyage organisé. Bon service. Le riz du Poke bowl était farineux, dur et vraiment mauvais au goût. Au goût, les frites ressemblaient à du surgelés. As much as I love Normandin we had a bad service. Waited 30 minutes to get a greeting and be placed to our RESERVATION table. Yes. We did reserve and it took 30 min to get to our table. Once seated, it took an anditionnal 45 minutes to get served. I went twice to talk to the manager and I am usually really patient. We even saw people getting served before us that arrived 25 minutes AFTER us. Was really unpleasant.

je n 'ai à peine pu manger puisqu' etant allergique/intolérance gluten ( coeliaque) et avec notres forfait train nous avions un rabais. Dans notre séjour a Quebec nous sommes allées ailleurs, et je n ai eu aucun problème. Clairement Normandin ne sont pas à jour en lien avec le phénomène d allergie et d intolérance.

The food wasn't that good. We waited over 1/2 hr for a salad and chicken wrap. The salad was a Thai Chicken I asked the waitress before I order it if it was spicy she said no . It was way to spicy and my fried chicken that was on top was ice cold. I told the waitress I couldn't it and she said Ok. When she brought me the check my salad was still on the bill. I had to ask her to remove it off the bill.

Vraiment bon. La pizza 'fondu chinoise', le poulet frit (pas-cuit à l'avance et 3 très beaux morceaux). Ma première expérience mais pas la dernière chez Normandin.

Ouf nous avons commandé un pizza 4 avec 2 spécial Normandin et 2 suprême. Le meilleur pour moi sur une pizza c'est le fromage. Quelques brins de fromage visible sur les 4 pizzas. Très déçu de ce Normandin. On s'est souvenu du pourquoi nous ne commandons plus à ce Normandin. Une chance qu'on avait pas pris au fromage.

Unorganized staff, there were plenty of empty tables and a long line, because nobody was cleaning them. The receptionist was clearly bored and willingly. The breakfast menu is restrict and there's no option for children. They bring a bowl of childish and sugary cereal to the kids without consulting parents. If you are hosted at N Hotel you get 20% off.

Les employés vous ignore totalement, vous voyez votre repas sous le rechaud pendant plusieurs minutes 5-10.. personne vous repond finalement ce que je pense etre le gerant vient vous servir mais au final un baveu.... mechant service a la clientele de cabochon

Waited 10 minutes before being greeted at the door to be seated. Thought it must have been very busy, but once inside we could see that it was fairly empty. Once seated, waited another 10 - 15 minutes...no one came to take drink orders. Such poor service! Can't imagine how long food service would have taken. We walked out.

Un bus qui arrive le soir, le restaurant était prévenu depuis longtemps (voyage organisé), et la direction laisse 2 jeunes filles (bien sympathiques, par ailleurs) se débrouiller et forcément cela coince dans tous les sens.

Stayed at the hotel, so tried out the restaurant. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, it had WAY too much pepperoni. Also, it wasn't even cut. There are no knives in the hotel. Overall, not worth the money, food is horrible. Very disappointing.

Great menu, pleasant service offered in both official languages. We were staying at the hotel across the street and opted to eat at Restaurant Normandin both nights as the menu was extensive and the food above par.

La personne qui nous a servi a été courtoise, mais a maintes fois oublié de servir mon ami et moi. Le café baileys était correct et le gâteau au fromage bon. Le restaurant était propre. Le prix est aussi correct.

We go to this restaurant every time I visit my family in Quebec. This last visit was even better as they updated their menu. And those of us who tried new items really enjoyed them!

Copius breakfast sets you up for a day of walking in Old Quebec. Great breakfast plate at a reasonable price, good service, regular coffee fillups. Going back tomorrow.

Service was average, food overall was not very good and their prices was fair. I was disappointed and I will think twice before I return to that restaurant.
