This place is so cosy and charming and if you're in the area I'd recommend seeking it out. It's not huge but manages to pack a lot in including a hefty selection of books about London and a lovely kids bit too. Independent bookshops are few and far between now so do buy something! There are some nice cards on sale so I stocked up on those too. The lady working was having a nice natter with everyone in the shop and helping with recommendations which reminded me that friendly customer service is so lacking in most chain stores these days. A perfect Sunday stop!

Discovered this bookshop on a Sunday wander - I'm pretty sure it's the only one in Peckham. It's not massive but they manage to fit in a surprising amount. Expect to find children's books, contemporary fiction, classic novels, cookbooks and really beautiful stationery. It's very much a local bookshop and a big part of the community, judging by the book club posters all over the place (turns out there's a Peckham Graphic Novel Club, who knew?) and another lovely addition to Bellenden Road.

Some bookshops are better than others, just the way things are... Review is a great bookshop, the staff know their books and their recommendations and stock are really good. This is a bookshop to come to even if you think the last thing you need is to buy another book. It's inspirational, friendly and has good vibes

My favourite place to buy books. They will order anything for you if it's not already in their small, but well curated, selection. The staff is exceptionally good at giving recommendations and will also entertain you with conversation if it's not too busy.

Favourite bookshop in all of London! The woman who works there is so friendly and helpful, great selection of books and if they don't have it they'll happily order it in. It's not giant so one wouldn't be overwhelmed. Great spot!

Lovely corner bookshop of the independent kind now so rare on our streets. Kind of place you can feel relaxed haunting. Leaf through a book read a chapter or more surreptitiously. ... great place, helpful owner.

A small bookshop with a great range and knowledgeable staff. There really is something for everyone. Children's section is particularly good as is the short stories section. Awesome gift cards available.
