The staff were friendly, they gave us a very nice room as a gift and served cookies and tea. The owners have looked very nice to this riyad for 100 years. Beautiful than most museums in Morocco. Very nicely decorated, the hotel is very charming! Meals also were wonderful with beautiful atmosphere. The pastilla I ate was especially great. Many thanks to friendly Nordin, helpful Omar, for the wonderful chat and the friendly service, to the friendly ladies at the reception who made those fine dishes in the kitchen. The best experience you can have in Meknes. *** L'hôtel est une riyad de la médina de la vieille ville. C'était le plus bel hôtel où j'ai séjourné au Maroc. Le personnel était sympathique, ils nous ont donné une très belle chambre en cadeau et ont servi des biscuits et du thé. Les propriétaires ont regardé très bien cette riyad depuis 100 ans. Beau que la plupart des musées du Maroc. Très joliment décoré, l'hôtel est très charmant! Les repas étaient également merveilleux avec une belle atmosphère. La pastilla que j'ai mangée était particulièrement bonne. Un grand merci à Nordin amical, Omar serviable, pour le merveilleux chat et le service amical, aux dames amicales à la réception qui ont fait ces plats raffinés dans la cuisine. La meilleure expérience que vous puissiez avoir à Meknès.

We stayed here as part of a small group tour and I will start with the positives. The staff are lovely, the downstairs is beautiful and the roof terrace comfortable. The claiming of a 5 star is however way off. The beds are so so hard and without mattress protection, you are sleeping on the last guest‘s body fluids. The showers are held together with plumbers tape, with showerheads falling off and taps coming undone at the slightest touch. The showerscreen doesn’t reach the floor, so any water you do get sprays out onto the floor. Toiletry offerings are packeted pieces of soap or magazine sachet shampoo. Coming to breakfast the next day, well I sat on a broken chair, so that didn’t help. Very basic breakfast offers for this 5 star. Maintenance and attention to detail is the key here. This could be a very special Riad in the middle of very average 3 star Riads and unfortunately that is what Riad Ritaj currently is.

La cama fue una tortura, dura no, lo siguiente, al igual que las almohadas, no pudimos descansar apenas. Pedimos haber si nos podian cambiar la habitación y nos dijeron que todas son iguales, mismos cojines y mismos colchones… Escojimos este riad por la buena puntuación pero nos defraudó por completo. Aparte habia mucho ruido del patio, ya que las habitaciones tienen ventanas interiores. El desayuno también nos defraudó, nos hospedamos en bastantes riads y sabemos lo que es un desayuno marroquí, en este las tortitas estaban calentadas en un micro, el zumo muy agrio. Pero vamos lo que buscamos en este viaje era un sitio para descansar y aqui no pudimos. Para colmo, meknes la están reformando y apenas se ve nada. Lo unico bueno que tiene este riad es su patio interior.

فندق رياض ريتاج في وسط المدينة العتيقة مكناس تحفة فنية يستحق الزيارة والمشاهدة اذا لم تتمكن من النزول فيه. موقع ممتاز لكن المواقف بعيدة لكنها متوفرة مع حراسة 15درهم الليلة. عبارة عن مبنى رياض على طراز العمارة الاسلامية المغربيةالرائعة، تطل الغرف على رواق تتوسطه نافورة ماء رخامية، حيث النقوش الجبسية والخشبية الرائعة، والزليج بتشكيلات الألوان الجميلة كل ذلك عمل يدوي فاخر ما شاءالله تبارك الله. جلسات الاستراحة في صالة الاستقبال جلسات مغربية جميلة مع أصوات الموسيقى الأندلسية الهادئة، و فازات الورود بنقش جميل جدا، توجد خزينة خشب مع الزجاج بداخلها الانتيكات المغربية الأصيلة . الغرف والحمامات بالطراز المغربي مع نوافذ زجاجية ملونة مطلة على الرواق، فطور ممتاز ضمن سعر الغرفة، أسعار معقولة جدا لهذا المستوى الراقي والنظيف 450<550 درهم للغرفة. فريق وإدارة مرحابة سريعة لطيفة. نتمنى لهم كل النجاح والتوفيق إن شاء الله .

Dear reader, I have been visiting this Riad since very long time, it is absolutely magnificent and very beautiful. I also bring my business guests to this Riad everytime I have the chance to drink coffee, eat something and of course to introduce them to the Moorish/Andalusian architecture. Yesterday, while having with me an off duty business delegation, we were denied entry, I was surprised about the fact that we couldn't sit, enjoy a drink and maybe eat something while the whole restaurant empty was, literally nobody was there. It hurts me a lot to give you 1 star, but the way we have been treated yesterday is absolutely not appropriate. I urge the management team to reflect on this, you have always been loyal, so I am I. Supposed to be a nice place but that just didn’t add up the valued. Beautiful place with no hospitality in mind, staff practically shouting or rising voice when they talk each other, drying blanket and other rooms utilities at the balcony is just not something you would see in other hotel , unless on my 25 years of traveling experience. Imagining siting having breakfast and the staff dusting or carrying duster without cover with of course full of dust isn’t a pretty sight let alone hygiene On staff service isn’t even better except probably the receptionist the others just as slow as snails can be. Cleaning table for breakfast is just too painful to watch

Not great!!! Looks great in the lobby & the stairwell but this is where it ends, rooms are delapidated & unhygienic, sheets were see-through and there was hair and a heavy human smell, I'm pretty sure the sheets & bedding were dirty, also mattress protectors & pillow protectors would be a good investment, plug was coming off wall, light switches were stained with built up grit, bathroom shower curtain was mouldy, and do not eat at the restaurant, yuk $25AUD buys you a cold tagine, although not cooked in dish, and bought biscuits for dessert. Maybe this is the poor standard of hotel to expect in Meknes, but definitely not to basic Western standard.

El lugar es precioso, habitaciones grandes y bonitas ( limpieza perfecta ) Además el chico de recepción Sufien es muy simpático y nos ha explicado toda la información de la ciudad y de otros sitios para nuestro viaje ( sin interés por llevarte a sitios recomendados ni nada ) 100% recomendable en Meknes

Sufien el chico que trabaja en el Riad es súper amable, nos ha ayudado en todo, tuvimos un percance y estuvo súper pendiente de nosotros. Sin duda súper recomendable el sitio súper céntrico , el desayuno y las habitaciones geniales. Si buscas calidad precio y amabilidad es el mejor sitio para tu estancia.

The reception and the building is the only good thing. I was really sad to discover that the water in the toilets doesn't work in a good way. I could not take a shower during my stay and I had to move out of the riad even i had payed one more day. Breakfast is mini and not prepared. It is not five stars. It's ok to have this level in Marocco but please don't claim 5 stars. To mention Younes and the guide is amazing also the lady who work at the reception.

It is one of the beautiful ryadh in the city, very clean and nice, it is located in wonderful place in the old city of meknes, huge and secure, the workers there are great and they deal very well with clients, it is the top and the best place where you can relax and feel the breeze of old medina, it is calm and the place of making dreams, if you are confused where to sit in, i advise you to choose this ryadh, it is the best for you

Riad ben curato e ricco di decorazioni, situato vicino alla piazza principale è vicino a un parcheggio. La colorazione non è stata delle migliori e i condizionatori di tutta la Riad erano fuori uso. Poca accoglienza da parte del personale dato che quando siamo arrivati tutte le luci erano spente e ci siamo sentiti come non graditi dato che eravamo gli unici ospiti. Nel complesso 3* è il giusto compromesso tra servizio e location.

Tutto lo staff in particolare Omar si sono dimostrati molto disponibili nell'aiutarci con un problema avuto con i passaporti. Non mi era mai capitato viaggiando tanta disponibilità. Ringrazio ancora Omar per la sua grandissima professionalità. Riad elegantissimo, zona perfetta per visitare Meknes. Il più bel Riad trovato in Marocco.

Très jolie riad très bien situé et accessible. Un véritable musée de l artisanat marocain. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Nous y sommes allés en groupe piur une occasion spéciale, l ensemble du staff était au petit soin et très aidant :) Nous avons été super bien accueilli par Omar et sa team.

Great choice in Meknes. Very comfortable beds and nice breakfast. The staff are very nice and welling to help. The location of the riad is just few steps from the main square and next to the famous amazing door of meknes. I would definitely recommend this place for comfort seeking travelers.

Camere molto sporche c’erano capelli nei letti, subito si sono giustificati dicendo che la signora delle pulizie è dovuta andare all’ospedale, inizialmente quando siamo arrivati l’accoglienza è stata pari a zero, la colazione non è stata niente di che, la sala era molto sporca anche questa

A due passi da piazza Lahdim, grande Riad marocchino, ricco di decorazioni e arredi tipici. Stanze grandi e pulite. Meravigliosa terrazza sulla medina. Staff gentile ma atmosfera non particolarmente accogliente. Da migliorare colazione e pulizia dei tavoli mattutina.

Servicio excelente, tuvimos un problema con las llaves del coche y nos ayudaron en todo momento. Increíble la hospitalidad, un sitio precioso y el personal de lo más amable que hay. Un 10.

Riad con una entrada muy bonita y muy bien situado. La atención amable. La habitación a primera vista está muy bien pero podría mejorar: limpieza, falta de amenities, luz algo escasa,... Cenamos allí y esto sí que nos pareció que no merece la pena.

A éviter absolument, les chambres manquent de tout, le petit déjeuner est médiocre. Vraiment c’est très décevant, le seul avantage c’est l’emplacement.

Um Riad lindíssimo dentro da Medina de Meknes. Uma infusão de menta para receber os clientes é obrigatória por estas paragens. Muito bom. Os quartos são espaçosos com uma decoração típica marroquina. A voltar sempre que passar por ali.

Riad très bien placé, près de la place principale de meknès, décoration sublime, chambre grande, magnifique terrasse Le riad est très calme le soir (ce qui est un plus), petit déjeuner correct. Le personnel est au top. Je recommande.

We did not stay the night, but enjoyed the inner courtyard, which is worth the visit. We also had tea and pastries, which were definitely overpriced by about 3 times; unfortunately you even have to bargain in such a beautiful place.

Curato e pulito. Unica pecca, per questo e altri simili, se ci andate in inverno, come me che ci sono stato in dicembre, è molto probabile che soffriate il freddo. Si cena e si fa colazione con il cappotto. Vi assicuro.

Un buen hotel en el corazón de Meknes, muy bonito, las habitaciones son amplias. Cenamos en el hotel y recomendable (por lo exótico) el tejine de camello. Además, puedes acompañar tu cena con un vino marroquí.

Riad v srdci mesta s nádhernou orientálnou výzdobou. Izba bola čistá, bez problémov nám objednali odvoz do Volubilis. Námestie Lahdim aj medrasa Bou Inania sú iba par krokov vzdialené.
