I am a big fan of this park. Specifically, for the four tennis courts that they have outdoors that are open to the public. This park is really nice and great for events as well (as you can see in my pictures). The only issue is that when events happen, parking and traffic in the parking lot become a nightmare! They do need to expand parking or have some nearby overflow lot.

  • Nathaniel White

An alright park, but lots of trash thrown around the place. Swing set works pretty well, same with the rest of the equipment. Neighborhood behind the park is really nice. Great to drive around before or after playing with the kids. Plenty of fast food options around as well. Convenient location to major roads and located in a relatively easy place to get to.

I went to the Neighborhoods Resource Center's sixth annual celebration of Nashville's neighborhoods. The venue is historic. The grounds are widespread, beautiful and diverse in plants. The Neighborhoods Resource Center couldn't have picked a better site to showcase its praise of people trying to improve their neighborhoods.

This park has been located here, for as long as, I can remember! It's definitely, not a place to go for relaxation! It serves as more of a buffering purpose, between a neighborhood and local Businesses. The noise and pollution from Charlotte pike makes this park, not ideal for mental clarity and fresh air.

There's a great Farmer's market here on Saturdays 9:00-noon. The library is right there. There is a great runnin/walking path all around thepark and some play equipment for children. There are restaurants and interesting shops nearby, and it is very close to I-40. What more could you ask for?

  • Laura Lyons

Decent playground but I won’t bring my children here again. There was a man stumbling down drunk hanging around and several intoxicated appearing adults playing on the playground. They started smoking and that was the final straw for me. I was very uncomfortable and we left pretty quickly.

  • Jeremy Thompson

This is an amazing park. It's HUGE! It's always clean and well manicured. The tennis courts are nice. The playground is on the smaller side, but still great. There is enough green space to allow for several huge parties and not have to be close to each other.

  • Sabine Claybrook

Nice little weekend market with quality farm fresh veg, meat, fish, fresh bread, kombucha and other drinks by the growler, artisanal items, food-truck-type breakfast and lunch foods, coffees and teas. Very enjoyable if a little high priced.

  • T-roy McFarland

The place gets bigger and better all the time! Get there early it gets busy, but definitely worth the wait! Gautier has amazing seafood and get the muffuletta from FatBelly Pretzel....they are game changers!!

  • Madan Nagaraju

Right on charlotte pike, easily accessible and decent parking space. It's a little small, but good for a short visit. Kids area is well maintained, in general the park could take a better cleanup service.

  • Shandra Lewis

Nice park but a lot of homeless people are always there and some appear to be miss watching-i could be wrong but when a man shoots and states at children playing that makes me uncomfortable

  • Christina McNeil

I've been going here since I was a baby. It's not the largest park but it is a welcome green space in an otherwise urban area. Perfect for kids and the library is right there too.

  • Edwin Acevedo

We only ever go here for the farmers market on Saturday. Be sure to go early, especially during the growing season, as produce runs out. Fortunately the Turnip Truck is nearby.

  • Troy Breeden

A fun place and important part of the community. A public library branch, multiple play areas and plenty of wide open space. Great places to eat are all around, too.

Never too much traffic, very nice place for walking, jogging etc. Also, huge beautiful open park with plenty of space to play frisbee, flag-football, etc

  • Awoken Dragon

Great open space, plenty of room for multiple groups at a time. Facilities need tending to more frequently, but the trees and grass are very well kept.

  • Russell Acklin

This is the best Park in Nashville. We can't allow Metro to rip the trees down and turn the park into a parking lot
