This place is the cutest little cafe owned by the cutest family!! The food was insanely tasty and the customer service was top notch. I went here for breakfast while I was in Melbourne ( Im from Adelaide) and I literally haven't stopped thinking about it since. They were supper accomodating to my dietary requirements and didn't charge ridiculous prices for any changes. please support this business, especially during these uncertain times!! Sigh.... just waiting for covid to be over so I can go back and eat here again.

Its a cute cafe with a cool name and amazing coffee ☕ Tried the matcha latte, chai latte and soy flat white, all were very well made. The matcha is a must try if you have not had one previously. Also the chicken panini is delicious especially after a hike!! Great spot, can't wait to go back!

This place has been here for three years but I've only just recently noticed it as it's tucked away in a local set of shops. The breakfast menu is not extensive but has the essentials including smashed avo and eggs Benedict. Presentation was good as were staff. Loved the relaxed courtyard area where you could sit right next to the veggie patch. Will be back.

Ordered 2 hot flat whites which came with choc backed tiny teddy..nice addition. However coffees were very mild, more milk than coffee ratio in comparison to same coffee in Collingwood cafes. Will have to order strong/extra shot next time which means my coffee will cost more! Small @$4 each. Uses Niccolo beans. Breakfast looks good and nice local vibe.

Great coffee. Had a latte and it was nice. Also ordered break burger. You have to try it. I love the taste of the barbeque sauce on it but it wasnt so strong that overpowers the burger. The bacon on it is i guess the best bacon ever. Friendly staff. They also have a nice backyard with tables and chairs. So i guess they are pretty busy in warm days.

Love what the team are doing during the strange times of Lockdown! No matter what you order, whether it's good, strong coffee (Niccolo beans and LAB milk - yum!) or a delicious brunch (the Brekkie Burger is a favourite), it's always served with a (masked) smile and cheery attitude. So thankful Rise & Grind is within my 5kms :)

A funky little cafe in suburbia. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Seating inside and out. A very relaxed atmosphere. They are doing a great job being COVIDSafe. All staff were wearing masks. Takeaway customers waited outside for their orders. If you eat in the menu has the QR code so you can easily check in at your table.

such a great place for good quality coffee. By accident, I met the owner out the front, when I was waiting for my coffee, two vigorous dogs with me. She took time to talk and just be a nice person! I love that they love dogs and offer them a drink too. Yay for Rise and Grind 3133!! Keep being amazing humans!

These guys are an integral part of Vermont’s social life. Everything from the indoor layout and the backyard space, the quality of the beans they use, friendly staff who work there and their food, all just fit together perfectly to serve their customers and the community really well! Quite a nice modern cafe. Friendly staff. My latte was quite a smooth flavour and prefect temp. Served with a Tiny Teddy biscuit (a nice touch). My reason for the 3 stars was purely the price. $5 for a medium takeway skinny latte. I enjoyed my coffee, but $5 for a medium was just too much.

Pretty decent cafe, reasonably priced. Good food and coffee. Good local spot for a bite if you're in the area. Food was fresh and served with a smile.

Great little local cafe. Good coffee and decent food. They customise my 4 year old's toastie and make a good Babycino with Marshmallows and Teddy bikkies so this is her favourite cafe. Great to have such a good cafe in the area.

The panini was tasty and the coffee was nice and hot BUT the cafe was freezing!!! The front door was open all the the time as was the back door. I was warmly dressed and had a blanket to put over my legs, but I still felt very cold. I will not go there again except in summer.

Yummy food and a nice variety of tasty breakfast dishes. Only a new business so still a few kinks to work but I'm sure that'll come with time! Nice place though and a great addition to Vermont. I've gone twice since they've opened and will definitely be visiting again.

Popped in after a puppy park outing just before they shut and the girls were amazing with the pups! The outdoor area is a great safe space for your four legged friend & the drinks were delicious! We’re definitely grabbing a feed next time :D thanks girls!!

Coffee was good, service was quick, and the food was good quality. Expect standard café fare and at cafe prices. For a place so far out of the city they definitely deliver a higher standard than what can sometimes be seen in the suburbs of Melbourne.

Awesome food, awesome staff, awesome atmosphere and even a library for you to borrow from. This place is not lacking for anything except a bit of colour indoors. Only thought: lay off the avocado. It doesn't have to be in everything.

We had the Egg & Bacon and Tradies rolls which were both good. Coffees were fine. Service was slow and a little inattentive (no water or napkins). Hopefully these are early teething problems which will be sorted out in time.

Small local coffee shop, not bad. Cute little outdoor area, frequented by locals. Coffee is ok, but very slow service. The young staff members are friendly enough, but a little unorganised and need more service training.

I've been coming here for a while now to get my coffee and eggs fix. The cafe is well setup with super friendly staff. The coffee is great and the food is delicious. What more could you ask for :)
