I'm leaving these guys a 5 star review on every platform I can find because they deserve 6 stars from me, if possible. The texture and flavor of the pasta in my Pici Senesi Alla Chiantigiana unbelievably fantastic. The meat and sauce were also excellent. My salad's ingredients were incredibly fresh tasting and flavorful. The free bread (is it even an Italian restaurant without that?) was good, but particularly tasty with their oil/vinegar. The tiramisu did not seem to be a huge portion, but that may have been just because it could be the best I've EVER had, and I wish there was more. I'm a certified tiramisu junkie, for the record. The place is cute inside and located in a good spot for outside dining and in general. But why I'm writing this review was the service. I was welcomed (though not overly warmly) despite my disheveled appearance when I first walked in. I tried to politely ask if an hour would be enough time to dine before I had to catch a train, which may have also not helped me as a NY tourist.... But the two gentleman on the floor clearly hustled to make my food come out very fast, they were very attentive without being intrusive, and once we got a chance to chat later they were very warm and friendly and made me feel like la familia. They even contributed a little freebie at the end of my meal, which I greatly appreciated. I wish I could have tipped them handsomely but I didn't have a chance to get to an ATM... I hope my reviews get them the business and tips they deserve.

The two gentleman working the floor clearly hustled to make my food come out very fast after I'd tried (and perhaps failed) to politely ask if they thought an hour would be enough time to dine with them to catch my train. They were very attentive without being intrusive, and once we got a chance to chat later they were very warm and friendly and made me feel like la familia. They even contributed a little freebie at the end of my meal, which I greatly appreciated. I wish I could have tipped them handsomely but I didn't have a chance to get to an ATM... Everything here was amazing but the cheesecake was quite possibly the THE BEST CHEESECAKE we’ve ever had, in the entire WORLD. Cheesecake is my husband’s favorite dessert, he orders it everywhere, and here it was uniquely incredible. The Graham cracker crust? A revelation. The cheesecake itself? Light. Not too sweet, but packed with flavor. We did the seasonal fruit and it was so so good. The vibe of this restaurant was cozy, comfortable and quiet at the hour we went (6pm). At around 7pm, guest started to steadily trickle in. The host (owner?) was so incredibly polite and welcoming, and spoke impeccable English. Which is of course not necessary, but very convenient! The pasta pasta was fresh and very tasty! Some of the best we’ve had. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the ravioli pecorino with the white rabbit sauce. It was light and flavorful, and definitely a new favorite. The next time I’m back in Florence this restaurant is a repeat for sure!!!

After trying this place I believe their reviews are paid for. The moment my husband and I arrived and the server realized we were speaking English.. his face and attitude changed towards us. Like he didn’t want us to sit in this place. Then the people sitting around us kept on looking at us so weird and rude. We were hoping the food would make up for how uncomfortable we were feeling but no! Their food sucks! Their tomato soup is basically tomato paste, and their white sauce smells like dog food. In top of that the prices are high and they add a tip of at least 10% to your check no matter how big or small your party is. We will never return and definitely do not recommend it to anyone.

Despite the other bad reviews about this place, after experiencing their service and trying their food, my family absolutely loved it. The ravioli with truffle sauce was one of the best I've ever tasted. Their staff was kind and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was good. The steak has great flavor and is very tender. The boss even gave us a Panna cotta on the house. Great service and overall delicious food. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone in florence. We even visited a second time before we left florence.

We've went here twice, once for a light lunch and later for a dinner because the food was good, we liked the boss lady so much and more importantly they understood nut allergies (tree and peanut). My friend felt very comfortable eating there and bistecca we had was incredibly good. Not just that but the recommendations from our server were spot on! And she was kind about to explain things about the food and region that made it obvious that she cared. Tiramisu, Panna cotta and chocolate cake were all divine! Wonderful place! Such kind people!

The fresh pasta here was really tasty. Both meals delicious. Ours were classed as first courses, so a smaller sized dish. Staff were pleasant but stood around looking bored/staring over their three tables longer than I'd have liked. Décor interesting and nice, gentle lighting throughout. Would recommend!

The first night in Florence did not disappoint at this restaurant. Our meal was terrific!!!! Everyone was attentive to detail and went above and beyond to improve our experience. The wine was excellent. The homemade tiramisu was spectacular. See it for yourself.

Cappella Medicee is live since 1950. I mean come on. Once you taste their beef stew, you will immediately know why they are still around. Blew our mind away. From zucchini to pappardelle, all they served us was pure mama’s taste. One of the best places we’ve been in Florence by far

The pasta I ordered was too greasy and the pasta was overcooked and really tasteless. The customer next to me didn't even finish half of the pasta he ordered. I went based on Google's rating, but there seems to be something wrong with this restaurant's rating. I really don't recommend it.

This review is for the restaurant - it was my favourite restaurant from my stay in Florence. The Ravioli in truffle sauce was fantastic, and the pappardelle in boar sauce was also great. The service was fantastic, guiding me through recommendations and answering my questions. I highly recommend this place.

Came here randomly as my boyfriend and I saw they had great reviews and they did not disappoint. From our meals to the drinks and dessert, we would love to come back again one day as it was phenomenal. Aldo, the man who was helping us was so pleasant and sweet. Thank you guys!

Delicious small restaurant! We found them based on reviews online and it was a quick walk from our hotel. We ordered spaghetti and one of their thicker noodle dishes that had a meat sauce. We also split a steak which was a good portion for each of us. The wine was very good and the whole menu was well priced. Great dinner spot

The carbonara and ravioli with truffle sauce are a chef's masterpiece. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauce was incredibly creamy. The carbonara here is the best I've had in Italy so far. The location is very close to the Cathedral, making it incredibly convenient. Altro

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo! I primi sono spettacolari ,la tagliata rucola e grana superlativa e l'osso buco per leccarsi i baffi! Personale superlativa gentile e professionale. Torneremo sicuramente quando passeremo per Firenze! Complimenti a tutto lo staff!

The food is nothing exceptional but good. Unfortunately the restaurant seems to be very touristic. The staff speaks english even with the locals. The tip is included in the bill which we only figured out after (additionally) tipping (and that was too much).

Great food and wine. Not the cheapest restaurant but worth the money. Very nice and helpful service

Great little restaurant! It's quiet inside and the food was stellar, especially the dessert. The staff were also great. Definitely worth a meal - by the Medici Chapel.

Great restaurant with a perfect service. Not even have to wait long for drinks or food. The waiters and owner are very kind. We had a very good time there with laughs and jokes! Next to good food also very important in my opinion!

Hier we had best food in Firenze. Even better than the famous steakhouse ‘Dall….blabla’ I highly recommend hier. Service was also good and he was funny and kind. Carbonara was perfect and steak was very tasty.

Fantastic food and service. Much better than in touristic places. Very friendly staff. Very highly recommend. We've enjoyed Carbonara and Ravioli with some local white wine. Prices are reasonable. Thank you!
