We were so well taken care of from the moment we arrived at River Oaks! We were directed there by Chuck Fontenot and he made us feel very comfortable there. My husband was admitted there for medical drugs detox. Dr Shaw and Dr Hussein were wonderful and they were so compassionate and checked on my husband regularly. The nurses were all so competent and kind! They communicated with me and my daughter and kept us informed of his progress throughtout his treatment. He said the food was so good and they were so accommodating to keep my husband comfortable and well cared for! The detox treatment was very successful and my husband has recovered well. We would recommend River Oaks to anyone, it was the best hospital we had ever been in! When my husband was discharged, the nurses followed us to the elevator and waved goodbye and said they would miss my husband. How wonderful to feel like we were leaving family! Simply Amazing! From the time I walked through the door until I got to the back I was in awe of how kind and knowledgeable everyone was. I was so nervous to come because I live so far away but I was at ease because I felt so well taken care of and comfortable. From the receptionist Enid, Tech Marco, Nurses Kenneth and Destina they were Awesome. They all work so well together and made me a number one priority. The entire process from start until I was admitted was less than 2 hours. Everything was explained and I never felt left out of my care. I’m very sick so that means a lot of hospital stays and by far this has been the BEST experience of my entire life at a hospital. I really can’t say enough about this visit and I pray that more hospital staff and workers would follow their lead. Last but definitely not least I want to thank Dr. Atriham and Dr. Hussein for their expertise and phenomenal bed side manner. If you are or any of your loved ones are in distress and need medical attention please consider this facility to come and get better.

NOT A PEDIATRIC HOSPITAL... Although the staff were all very good, including the nurses and doctor, this is not a hospital for young kids. My grandson has asthma, and few times per year needs to be admitted, specially during winter. We went to this ER because we were close by. They didn't have pediatric nebulizer mask, the thing to check his oxygen level was too big for his little fingers, they didn't have the test to check for RSV, the room are very cold and they don't have pediatricians at all. Fortunately, the doctor that night was very knowledgeable, had incredible bedside manners and explained things very well. I forgot his name, but is Mexican. After few hours there, my grandson was better and we were able to take him home. Overall our experience was good, but I am afraid they are not equipped to look after sick children. If I ever need emergency care, I will probably come here, but I wouldn't recommend it for kids.

I as a patience highly recommend River Oaks Hospital, the nurses staff was amazing and made me feel absolutely safe and cared for as one of their own. Nurse Susan,April,Christine,Mary, and Shanee was absolutely the greatest. You ladies take pride in your work and it shows. You all work so well together as co-workers and family and that means a lot. Hats off to the kitchen staff..Chef James you and your team is amazing, can't say enough about that finger licking food, believe it or not we stayed an extra hour just to eat lunch. To the house cleaning, thanks for keeping my room fresh and tidy. Last but not least,Thanks to Dr Tantuco for your thoughtfulness and releasing us early. Horrible communication. I had so many problems trying to schedule one appointment, three weeks of calling 15 emails, after 3 weeks of trying to book they never provided details until the day before my procedure. Extremely rude staff on the phone the whole scenario with trying to even book an appointment made me so nervous I didn’t feel comfortable getting my procedure done at this hospital. I don’t know how a hospital can run like this one has. It is extremely disheartening. I did have two nice case managers at the very end, but I had such a horrible experience over the last month. Just trying to book in that I just didn’t feel safe more comfortable with the competence of the people that were booking my appointment to let any of the doctors at this place touch me.

To say I had an early FRIENDSGIVING/ THANKSGIVING shower of workplace feast of love, after my shift with Kenia, ER DIRECTOR and the entire Staff of the Emergency Dept of River Oaks Hospital , would be the understatement of the year 2023!! The ED of a busy hospital is not an easy place to work in, but this family makes it fun ,loving, and full of one wonderful surprise after another. Hats off to KENAI and the ER TEAM of ROH! You guys are amazing and I truly appreciate the experience and look forward to many years of friendship and love as we do this thing that is our calling, “THE HEALING ARTS”, with love and laughter! Thank you for the early thanksgiving gift!

I visited the River Oaks Hospital as a guest in their waiting room while a family member had some minor surgery. The facility is outstanding. Very clean with comfortable chairs to relax. They have a cafeteria on the third floor where I had breakfast tacos which were probably in the top 10 breakfast tacos that I’ve ever had. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I was in the waiting room for about five hours waiting for the procedure to be completed and to allow for time in the recovery room. While there, someone brought snacks around for the guests in the waiting room. A first class experience all around!

The representative in the Business Office by the name of Soha was Awesome. She was very professional and kind, she was also training a young man and I noticed how he was also happy to wait on patients.. the Business office is located on the 2nd floor. Also the young lady that handled my Ultrasound on the 3rd floor was also Kindhearted knowledgeable, and patient. I've had a previous surgery, and if I was to have another one it will also be at The River Oaks Hospital. Keep up the excellent bedside manners and pleasant welcoming attitude and your Hospital will be rated #1.

I had a procedure on Wednesday and everyone was amazing and professional. Sandra Guzman was so nice and professional. She was upbeat and really put me at ease. My preoperative nurse was Munchi I believe. She was the best nurse ever. Tameka and everyone in the room really made me comfortable and they were very professional. My wonderful recovery nurse was hands down the best. I was under anesthesia so I don't remember her name but she was knowledgeable and supportive. 2 thumbs up for Riveroaks Hospital and Clinics!!!!

Kenry’s was my amazing nurse he got blood on the first stick. He took time and explained what was going on then did it. The head nurse Kyndyl tag team my treatment plan and got me stable then on road to healing. Dr Duncan has the best bedside manner. Her knowledge and smile helped to keep me calm until a remedy was found. Lincoln worked to keep me comfortable until they found the correct treatment plan. I came in miserable and hurting and I’m leaving, grateful and happy I came to River Oaks Hospital ER

Rahima Moor is very professional and provide appointment reminders and help getting the best appointment time as per the needs. We need more supporting staff like mher in every medical facility. Dr. Victoria Do, one of the best physicians, I am seeing her since last 21 years, no matter where she works, my whole family has followed her. She is very very talented and always find the root cause of any medical problem. She provides sufficient time and listen to all the problems and then provide diagnosis.

I am a cancer survivor now for 13 years. I have been in and out of hospitals and emergency care clinics since. Corrine and Suha are top shelf, no question I asked was met with hesitation, not once did i feel that i was taking up to much of their time. You know the feeling I'm talking about, everyone has experienced it, you wont get that from them, they obviously love what they do, helping those who need a little help. Welcoming warm smiles greet you, they are a great team for you when you need one.

Sandra was awesome from the business office And Suha was so sweet and kind!! Her and Sandra were super quick with checking me in and making me feel extremely comfortable at a very stressful time. They made me feel like we were family, not strangers. It was such a wonderful change from the usual non eye contact people from other clinics when they’ve checked me in. Thanks for making me feel like an actual human being with feelings instead of just another name on a list. Awesome job ladies!!

Everything was wonderful about this hospital the nurses cared ! Most importantly the food is AWESOME!!! My mother was taken care of and made me comfortable about her stay.. My absolute favorite was TRIVIA from the kitchen she stated she was NEWLY hired ! She was very friendly always smiled and made my mother day when she came unto the room! Made it to my appointment with the gastroenterologist on time and a hour later I was still waiting Finally, an hour later, the front desk person asked me to fill out new patient forms. I asked why she didn’t have me do that a hour ago when I first got there. I told her I would reschedule my appointment for another day. I understand that patients sometimes have to wait to be seen, but a whole hour??

This is honestly the most amazing hospital I’ve been too in my life. The staff was amazing, specifically Ms. Nichole, Ms. April, Ms. Vakia, and Ms.Ivey were of great help and care. They were very attentive with a smile on their face and you could really tell they care about the patients. The food is also a plus, this is definitely not your average hospital, they make you feel like family :)<3

Signature Care sent my mom to River Oaks Hospital. We wanted to go to Methodist, but it was full. We thank God for the unbelievably extraordinary healthcare she received from every one of their kind, sincere, well-trained staff who saved her life, comforting and caring for me, her daughter, as well. They call themselves a “concierge hospital,” which means: Small, and Fabulous!

Great patient service and friendly staff. Suha and Sandra in the Business Office were very nice and helpful making the whole process an easy one. All the medical staff I encountered in the OR were friendly, efficient and caring. Everyone was on top of their game. My wife had an overnight stay at River Oaks after a procedure. I wasn't able to stay the night but she was in great hands & we had no worries. Mukti, Vicki, Nichole V., & April were just the best. They took great attentive & professional care of my wife while i was not there. The whole hospital experience was the best.

I was so nervous about my husbands surgery when I came in. When we went to check in, we were greeted by Suha in the business office. She was so lovely and very pleasant. Her bubbly demeanor helped ease everything I was feeling. This is our 4th visit here and I have nothing but GOOD things to say about it.

Had surgery with Dr. Wijay today. Everyone at this hospital was great. Registration was the longest but still not long. The nurses and other Drs were great especially the anesthesiologists. Special shoutout to Jasmine R. From advanced diagnostic clinic, she ran into my husband and was very helpful.

My time here was great. They were super attentive and took great care of me for my CT scans and X-rays. came back super fast and i was out quickly! Sandra V was so helpful and sweet through the whole process as well as the nurse caring for me (unfortunately didn’t get her name) 10/10 experience!

I came to this hospital to have thyroid surgery and stayed here for three days. I highly appreciate Dr. Mabrie, the main surgeon, and all the staff and nurses serving in the ward where I stayed. They worked with me. A very respectful enthusiasm, thank you and the hospital board of directors!

5 stars service, and very nice hospital. Nurse Martinez, Kenia was super nice and knowledgeable. She took care of my father with so much care, spoke to him and treated him like it was her own father. I was extremely satisfied with the attention provided by the staff.
