3 stars is only because of 1 receptionist (male) otherwise this would be a 1 star review. I think his name is Ben? He saves this clinic from angry patients with his calm, friendly and professional demeanor. The Drs are always late and always in a hurry to rush you out of your appointment, not at all treated within your 15 minutes always rushed out the door. Dr Patel has on countless appointments been over half an hour late to work, then pushing back every single appointment in the room. Currently sitting here with at least 15 patients, whom have all been waiting for over an hour to be seen for either regular or jab related appointments. My appointment was 2:50pm and Patel arrived to work at 3.30 ... This is not the first time I've had to deal with sitting around for over an hour for a short appointment to most of the time be dismissed or early discharged from our "15 minutes" together to play constant catch ups. Ridiculous is one word for it. Not the only Dr that acts or works this way in this doctor office either.

Nurse maintains no privacy and confidentiality. On requesting privacy during initial examination and case history (already filled in prior to appointment-pointless!), she was extremely rude. I was seen 30 mins later than my appointment time, which I was okay with as I could see it was a busy day but when I saw the doctor, he was constantly interrupted by reception with non-urgent phone calls regarding another patient who kept ringing to ask the doctor a question. Finally, the doctor put the phone on 'do not disturb', which led the receptionist to walk into my appointment twice, only for the doctor to tell her this is non-emergent and can be dealt with later, and that the other patient has been seen and can be offered a phone consult for further questions. Made me wonder how reception determines priority of patients over other patients and even over their doctor and the doctor's opinion. My experience with the doctor was good, saving grace for the overall horrible experience!

We went to this clinic for my son who was sick from 1 week very bad cough, runny nose) the doctor checked and said chest is clear, all good it’s just cough and cold give him cough syrup, so we tried that for couple of days but not good result, we went their again for follow up as doctor said you have to come for follow up but same thing all good no need to worry give cough syrup but we was not convinced so I tried different doctor in Altona medical centre ( very good) he told us your son got infection and he needs antibiotics .. how bad it is doctor said chest is clear no need to worry but my son almost got pneumonia Then I gave one star to Riverdale medical centre ( they don’t even deserve one star ) and I got call from centre and said remove your rating otherwise I will sue you… that’s my right to give a review if the service is that bad so no one else suffered like us ..

My experience was a very positive one at this medical centre. We just moved into the area and was hunting around for a new doctor and medical professional. The waiting area is spacious and fun for kids. Cute stuffed animals. A lot of seating and various areas for privacy and for when you need support to visit the nurse or doctor. We saw Dr. Tayyab Ali and was impressed and appreciative of his advice and time. He was polite and invited a nurse to assist due to the session, I wished I got her name, she was lovely and helped me relax. We recommend, and feel this is a winner Medical Centre for our family. Note: parking is shared with the child care centre so could be a struggle during the busier times. It’s tucked away from the main shopping centre, so this offers privacy and quiet. Convenient chemist next door. Recommend.

Dr. Saima husain has been a real godsend. Every time I had a consultation with her regarding my general health related matters, she would always treat my issues with a matter of utmost care and importance. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and her ability to communicate a sound diagnosis really put me at ease. The thing that sets her apart from other doctors that I have visited in the past, is her innate ability to empathise with her patients distress and in response provide sound advice that can help alleviate distress from the heart and mind of an individual. It is truly remarkable how much care and attention a professional attributes to people that she does not know on a personal level, that in my mind is something that differentiates Dr. Saima from other health care professionals.

Overall I always have a pleasant experience when I visit Riverdale Heathplus, but today was horrible. I wanna start off by thanking Ben he was wonderful, he mediated the issue and explained the situation to me patiently, so props to him for being awesome!! However Saima Husain, I refuse to even put Dr in front of that because of the behaviour she displayed today, it’s embarrassing for a doctor to be acting like that. She was rude throughout the whole consultation, didn’t even explain anything, she definitely had narcissistic traits and didn’t think it would be important to inform the patient as to why she downright refused to fill out an impact statement. If you book with her just a fair warning. I haven’t had an issue with any other doctor here, they have all been wonderful.

If I could give less then 1 star I would, I came in for a cough a while ago and had to wait an hour past my appointment even though the place was quiet and the doctor I saw was rude and did nothing but blame my normal doctor without asking basic medical history, walked out with nothing helpful. My partner visited today and the doctor was nothing but rude, didn't ask about medial history but he suggested weight loss surgery 3 times for unrelated issues based on a BMI he didn't measure, gave her the most condescending fact sheet that was completely irrelevant for what she went in for, and again gave no good advice. Will never be returning here, have already given them 2 chances too many.

I have no issue with the hospital staff. All are good. Dr Maulik Patel. He changed my appointment time. I am ok with it. When I saw him, I started asking the questions I waned to ask. He said this is not the way to behave & I have other patients to look after. I think I understand his point and also I believe I have to take one appointment for each question as per him. My point is I have taken the appointment to ask all the questions related to my health. How I am going to be satisfied if he behaves so commercially like this. He wasn't so helpful for me.

Me and my son had our 2nd Pfizer Zab there. After 2/3 days I called to know our jab certificate not updated they said department is very busy so it will take time at least 10 working days. After 2 weeks I called Medicare and Medicare couldn’t find both of us . Then Medicare said call back to the medical centre and find if they update our jab. Then I called again they said they are updating now. So after 15 days we got our jab certificate in the Medicare. It’s really shocking that they didn’t update and told us department is busy. Not recommended

Always helpful with appointments and doctors are very thoroughly explained about my concerns regarding my health l.never experienced extra waiting during my visits.if they dnt have any appointment they simply said no rather than squeezing me in and let me wait.once my niece had an incident with hot tea,I called the clinic and they suggested the best. I was stunned the way they replied to my call in 10 minutes after concert I g with the doctor.otherwise I called 5 clinics and all just said no.without even asking my concern.

This clinic’s customer service is what all medical clinic should be like. the practise manage deserves to be praised!! The receptionists are always polite and always greet you with a smile and there’s one gentleman I’m sure who’s the practice manager who walks around checking and making sure everyone is comfortable and even goes to the extreme as to providing us with ETA’s. I understand the wait times sometimes are long but I’m always happy to wait. Pt’s are understanding when they are treated well. Good job Riverdale

All stars for Dr Tyab Ali. He is very knowledgeable, able to diagnose the issue , listen carefully and always try to find the root cause. Never waits for referrals where required. My whole family now moved to him only,in Riverdale clinic. He is one of the best doc in West in Riverdale clinic. The only issue is the appointments we always need to book appointment at least 5-7 days early.Ben and others girls are also nice in reception specially Ben he is very good in providing appointments in case of urgency.

Dr Ali and the team at Riverdale health plus always do their best even when there is great demand on their services. As an aged pensioner l am not always able to attend the clinic however highly recommend Dr Ali for going above and beyond in accommodating patients in a caring, compassionate and professional manner. All staff I speak with are always friendly and professional in taking bookings and prompt in dispatching scripts. Highly endorse this medical practice as one of the best in the business!

I am very happy with the knowledge and the service provided by the team members of Riverdale healthplus, very knowledgeable Dr. Shahid Ghafoor and the way he treats their patients is very impressive. Very jolly nature and explain the things in detail so that patient can understand the things clearly and take the necessary step. I went to ask a question about the travelling Covid supervised test within 24hours of my flight. The receptionist was unsure of my question & was unaware of the paperwork I had about the test I had already paid for. She asked the doctor and I was unaware that they conduct the test at the clinic. The doctor was helpful and awesome he called clinics for me. I came home & told my family, thank you to the receptionist and the doctor for your help meant so much. Great experience.

I can honestly say that Riverdale health plus are amazing they always accomodate when there is an emergency for myself and family l highly recommend Dr Ali from the first time l had seen him for issues he was through and went above and beyond I had been to another doctors surgery for 35 years and I never got the same care there. All staff including reception are amazing, professional and very friendly l highly recommend Riverdale health plus.

Rang this morning for an appointment for my mother in-law and was told it’s fully booked today , so I cask for a phone appointment with the doctor to get my mother in-law medication , she then book me in for the doctor to call between 10am and 7pm today . It’s not 6.30pm and still no one has rang! I then just rang the clinic again and was told that doctor will call between now an 8pm ‍♀️. Reception staff was rude!

We went to this medical centre for my son who was sick from 3 days. The reception staff was very nice. But Dr. Shah was very rude. Before checking my lil one, he asked us about our regular GP. He said that we came here because we did not get appointment with our regular GP. He did not listen properly as we did not visit him before. A doctor will only get more patients if he gains the trust of the patients. Do not go to Dr. Shah.

The receptionist services are so poor. They don’t care about the patient at all. I have done my blood test two weeks ago. They said they will reach out once the result will come out but they never bother to contact me. And it happens two times. And also they will never give the correct information over the phone. And if you have phone appointment with Dr. they will never call on time. This clinic has no professionalism at all.

Dr Ali is our usual doctor as he is very good and Ben the receptionist has awesome customer service and very friendly. It’s always best to book your appointment with Dr Ali in advance as he gets a lot of patients. I wouldn’t recommend doing walk ins as the medical centre is quite busy and they do recommend to make a booking. Waiting time to get any blood test done at the pathology may take an while also.

Best Medical Center in the area. The staff is excellent, very welcoming, and respectful. I haven't seen reception staff with smiley faces for a while, but the staff at Riverdale Medical are so kind. What impressed me the most was seeing the manager bending down with compassion to check on a patient and offering water. I love what I saw, and I hope they continue this good service. Fardos. A

Given my review as a health professional - This clinic is a waste of time. Just for talking to the reception you have to wait for more than 30 minutes anytime you call. Services wise - Dr Ali is good, but other doctors are least bothered. The other doctor did not even ask for basic medical history. I would not recommend it. I am sure there are other better clinics than this in Tarneit.

Riverdalehealthplus is a very good and respected family medical centre. This is one of the only clinics in the area which accepts walk in and medical emergency and help patients transfer to hospital. Nurses and doctors are very helpful and professional, nurses even stay back after there finishing ours to help patients. Nurses always helpful with vaccines and looking after babies

Pathology staff has no professionalism at all. Hard to trust and also you need to keep eye on according to your appointment time otherwise they sneak someone in. Very disappointed. Had Pfizer vaccine 2nd jab but before and after jab pathology staff didn't explain anything. Doctors are good at this place but pathology not recommended at all.

The level of care experienced with the doctors at this practice is far superior to any other I've received nearby. Finally I have a doctor (Dr Ali) that genuinely listens and works towards getting to the cause. Nurses and receptionist staff are brilliant, got iron infusion which was done by nurse Dipiti she is great. Highly recommend.

I wouldn’t give a single star to this place . Went here to get my newborn checked as he was sick . Doctor Shah started playing riddles with us instead of checking my son . He didn’t even touch him and said everything is alright . As if he was least concerned. Never go to this place as they have pathetic service .

Though my previous experiences have been good here, I'm utterly disappointed to write this review. The Med Centre is supposed to open at 9am, yet there is a huge que waiting in cold and rain for the centre to open, it's 9.38am now! And unacceptable and unprofessional attitude from so called medical professionals!

No point having a booking system you walk in 5/10 minutes before your scheduled time and never get to see a Dr till after 3-4 people. And dare i say it but they’re always the same nationality as the rude admin ladies. The man in the office is the only person that greets everyone.

Dr.shah is absolutely clueless about medical issues. On my first visit, he kept talking about irrelevant things and wasn’t even concerned about the health issues whatsoever. I had some serious skin problems however, dr.shah prescribed me some rash cream which is totally unacceptable.

Want to give 0 star but no option, no use of booking appointments as they prefer their relatives first ( especially the ladies working at the desk). Booked many times with them but they make you wait for hour in the name of emergency, but haven't seen any emergency yet. Poor service.

If I could give Dr Annie Shafqat 0 stars I would. She just wanted me in and out, here take this pill and goodbye. There was zero medical examination or treatment. No care taken at all. No questions were asked, except if I had any allergies. A complete waste of my time.

The response from the clinic is very disappointing. My blood collection was done couple of weeks ago and no response received even after following up 2 times. Though it's not overly busy every time the call is put on hold for at least 15 minutes which is frustrating.

I visited Dr Tayyab Ali last week . I would say one of the best experience ever with a doctor . Very professional and friendly and I would also comment that reception staff very hood with their service . Will definitely visit again and so glad it’s close to home :-)

I booked phone appointment for 8pm and was waiting for call till 9.30pm. I had to cancel the appointment as I was not able to wake up. Very disappointed as receptionist didn't bother to contact the doctor. Not recommended at all.

Very disappointed with this medical centre. Gps always running behind appts. Reception should inform the clients and not let them sit there for hours and wait for the turn. They have heaps of new Gps but not organzied at all.

Always a pleasure to deal with Riverdale Health Plus, specially thanks to Nusrat who works as a receptionist. She is very helpful, calm and soft spoken. Recently, I visit with my daughter and we had great experience.

Basically if you want to book your appointment on the phone then good luck. Because you have to wait all day right next to your phone. However if you missed the phone call then good luck getting another call back.
