Very nice Woollies, a lot of fast-food joints (Spur upstairs), coffee shop, ABSA bank, and a R5 Chinese shop with some items so kitsch that they're not kitsch (hope you get what I mean). Parking in the secure area has to be paid for, but you get a refund if you are less than 20min, or get your ticket stamped by certain shops.
Basics: Spur Restuarant, Woolies, Absa, Flower Shop, Gift Shop, Happy R5 Store, Steers Fast Food.... As "Town Squares" go nothing memorable....but a well-used local convenience spot known to the locals. I had lived in Fish Hoek for a year before I realised that this is actually the "town square".
Small and aging. The landlord needs to improve this place by revamping and renovating. The facilities are aging but good businesses here that are providing good customer services. Very convenient and visible centre. Room for improvement like Major improvements. Landlord seems to be relaxed.
SPUR in this mall served us awful food. Onions were old and cold. Chips were reheated and nasty. Wsited for over 50 mins for this . Will not return . It was terrible as it was suppose to be a birthday treat for an eldetly relative who had not been out for months.
".....Sadly, Fish Hoek is fast becoming one of the forgotten suburbs of Cape Town!! It needs a Rmulti-billion makeover....which won't happen! Kalk Bay is fantastic! Simons Town fantastic! Fish Hoek - just an old, tired local shopping area!! "
Fish Hoek Town Square is meant for peace loving shoppers. The folk are nearly all of an age of retirement. They take their time ambling along and the general atmosphere is that of old friendships. Anybody gives anybody a smile and a kind
Spur, an institution and goto all around the peninsula...decent area...I love the coffee in the smoking area...(a place becoming fast absent in any area )... Entry to a competition to win spur voucher leaves you with an incentive to come
What a wonderful shopping experience. There are a few eateries to cater for your individual needs. A well stocked Woolworths. I suggest you try the Thai Message place opposite the Spur up the escalator.
The shopping centre has a collection of shops,Midas, Spar, Print shop, Pharmacy, a second hand shop, Ozone water refill shop for R1.00 per litre. As well as a nursery adjacent to the centre.
Went to Spur and had just sat down when they put TV's to full blast because of rugby. Spoke to waitress and she called manager and he turned volume down on one that was right above us.
Easy to access centre with Woolworths Food store, takeaway outlets, bank, gym, icream and coffee shop and Spur restaurant amongst others. Close to the station and the beach
Parking is a little bit tight and not a lot of space for two cars to move. Also you have to pay for parking inside the square if you are unaware however it is fair rates.
One good thing Golden River Spur is open for business, and after a big meal u can go to zone fitness and work it off, and for a snack you can go to woolworhs food
Convenient little nook just off the main road. Parking is reasonable, safe and always available. Access to all the nearby shops and restaurant for a quick bite.
We love to visit Fishoek, nice beach and plenty shops, also nice for first time visitors to travel by train from Muizenburg station to Fishoek lovely scene
It's a nice place to talk a walk through in the afternoon, shops are nice and lots of food places you can stop at for a quick lunch or dinner.
Shopping square in the heart of Fishoek, little shops and fast-food outlets make up the square. You must now pay for parking in the square
Convenient and has one of the better Spurs around. The real pity is the grime that has become the main road. Drastic measures required.
Convenient central location for shopping in Fish Hoek - exhorberant parking fees though - free parking in street or short walk away
Plenty parking, pedestrian crossing direct to shopping. No lifts. A little cramped during busy times. Cafe upstairs and downstairs
Very nice little square were one can get most of hes needs from gyming 2 pizza's or fish n chips...even very nice ice cream 4sure
Nice little centre but my mom struggles with walking due to arthritis and they only have escalator going up. Lift out of order.
Parking is secure, great for a quick bite to eat and Woolworths makes for a great stop if you need to get any essentials.
Great Spur here with good food and excellent service. Parking rates are reasonable for safe parking centrally located.
You have to pay for parking inside. Not an inspiring place. Useful small Woolworths. Otherwise more fast food places
Quick bite to eat on our adventure. Good choices for dine-in and take-away. Reasonable rates for the parking space.
Loved it so much it's small but pack with incredible shops. Will most definitely see me again.Worthwhile visiting.
Many of our frequently visited shops here, ABSA, Woolworths food, Cheap and cheerful china shop, ice cream
Beautiful views and vibe due to Covid 19 everything closes early but ppl are very mindful and wear masks
Great place. I do recommend visiting. Or even just popping in. Its clean nice n waiters are friendly
Been visiting for years. Best to park your car in the street and take a walk around the square
PnP, hot food, take away. public toilet available, which, I use regularly. Coffee shop. .
Always enjoy my meals, well prepared and friendly staff. Lovely view overlooking the sea
Went to the Spur. It is well marked and the staff are super efficient...
Easy access to small, paid parking, surrounded mostly by eateries.
Just an average strip mall, nothing crazy. Clean well managed.
We've only been to Spur. Their food was awesome. No complaints
Good. Parking area is a little small but otherwise good shops
Friendly manager made us enjoy. Cheap oysters
