When I walked into this charming boutique in my favorite part of Rome, I was reminded of why I love this city. Roi du Lac is a nostalgic fairytale reminder of the way that Rome sits at a crossroads of Mediterranean influences and histories. Roi du Lac designs include charming drawings of Istanbul, whimsical explorations of Greece, and patterns that could have adorned the Chinese silks traded in Roman markets for centuries. In this store you feel transported to a different time and place, but also inspired by the dream of a cosmopolitan future. May our mixing of cultures always look this stylish!

Absolutely wonderful experience! My first time in the shop and my husband and I were both blown away by the beauty of the patterns and the quality of the materials. We have purchased and worn both men’s and women’s shirts and shorts and they are both beautiful and comfortable. The shop owner was there during our visit and was so friendly and helpful! We also placed an order for some pieces in other patterns that they did not have in stock in our size. I found the prices reasonable for the quality and the craftsmanship of the clothing. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Wow I love this store, my new favorite boutique in Rome. The designers are in the store often and explain the history behind each unique piece of clothing. Each Roi du Lac item is unusual, stunning, and expertly made. The store has a warm atmosphere - when I’ve visited, the owners helped me to pick out each look. Also they have great homewares and little things like coasters that make perfect Christmas gifts. Highly recommend.

Kleidungsstücke aus WUNDERSCHÖNEN vor allem seidigen Stoffe mit ausgefallenen Mustern, die zum Träumen anregen. Das Geschäft selbst ist zurückhaltend gestaltet und überrascht dann wieder mit tollen Stoffen auf den Wänden. Die unaufdringliche Hilfe durch die Dame im Geschäft war großartig.

Prezzi veramente eccessivi rispetto a quello che offrono. Essendo un nome anche poco conosciuto ritengo ci sia troppa supponenza nel voler essere alla pari dei nomi dell’ alta moda italiana. E come sempre si dice “Chi troppo osa nulla stringe”.....

Ho ricevuto per regalo una camicia di questo negozio l ho lavata a mano in acqua fredda si è ristretta di una taglia, nemmeno le peggiori stoffe di Oviesse. Sconsigliato assolutamente se non volete fare brutte figure
