EDIT: To company response . We are yet to receive the call back that was promised to us from the regional office, when we made the original complaint. We got an estimate to replace our dryer vent from Rooter Hero quoted at $1,250 and 4 to 5 hours to complete the job. During the estimate the company representative had to contact his manager to help write the parts list. This was a bad sign, but we didn’t know it at the time. When the company representative came out to do the job, day 1 took him over 9 hours and he couldn’t finish job, insisting he needed to come back a 2nd day for a job quoted at 4-5 hours. He arrived unprepared: No crawl suit (knowing he needed to crawl under our home) Multiple trips to Home Depot, despite the parts list from day before. Around 2p said he had to come back tomorrow because his hack saw blade was dull and he had run out of more parts. He offered to just hook up our dryer quickly and then return the following day to fully replace the dryer vent as intended. He was so inexperienced that I needed to explain what tools he needed, how to use them & where the dryer vent needed to be placed. The vent he quickly put on in an effort to allow us to use our dryer while the job was incomplete was blocked by AC piping not allowing the vent flapper to open. This made the dryer unusable while we waited for his return the following day. I called another company that afternoon to assess & possibly repair the work that had been done and to actually do the job of replacing our dryer vent. I explained to the new company the situation. When the new company came out, they said the work the Rooter Hero tech had done didn’t look professional. Pipe was cut that was supposed to be crimped so there were huge flaps inside the dryer vent that would collect lint. There was blood on some of the piping, multiple parts left under the house- probably 5 to 7 elbows that were just scattered around. We canceled Rooter Hero returning for a 2nd day. The new company/repairman removed/replaced the old tubing in about 2 1/2 hours. This job/incident happened in the beginning of September and Rooter Hero insisted we pay the $1,130.61 that day or they would put a lien on our home. We paid and decided to reach out to Google since we booked with the Google Guarantee. Now, 3 months later, we are still waiting for our refund from Google Guarantee for shoddy workmanship and an incomplete job.

BEWARE! I've had the absolute worst experience with Rooter Hero Plumbing. We had a leak, about 2" of water under our AC Coil/Furnace. The Rooter Hero came out and diagnosed a clogged drain pipe. He cut, and cleared the pipe, and was still dripping. I pointed out it was still dripping, and he said it should stop. I reluctantly believed him. I paid him $305. The next day it was dripping just as it was before. I called Rooter Hero back, and they bailed completely until the next day (making me wait all day while telling me someone will come). Finally they sent someone out 3rd day who diagnosed a "Cracked Drain Pan". Something completely different than the original incorrect diagnosis! At least this time it was correct. But what did I pay $305 for? Why didn't the first guy diagnose the actual problem by taking the extra step of checking the drain pan? They proceeded to offer me estimates that were absolutely outrageous for repair/new system. Two other estimates were half the cost. I've spent the last 3 day's calling the company asking for a refund of my $305 because they literally wasted 2 days for me, and I had to miss work. I said I'd pay for diagnosis, but that work they did was wrong/unnecessary. No responses, no calls back, nothing. They keep saying "we'll call you back", Meanwhile the owner happily comments on, and thanks people on their 5-star reviews every couple hours on here. Crazy! Beware of these guys. They come off nice, and your friends, but then blackball you and don't respond after taking your money.

Update: Rooter Hero customer service contacted me and refunded me fully with $77 check which I received on Aug. 3rd. Rooter Hero has really wonderful customer service in taking phone call, making reservations and asking for customer feedback and in my case full refund. I am very happy with their customer service, and will definitely hire Rooter Hero again in the future. ==================================================== I used their famed $77 service. Edgar Franco and another guy came over. They couldn't unclogged it using 75 feet snake. I asked Edgar if he has longer snake, he said no. His suggestion to solve the clogging is to use their hydro jet service which is $2000. Another option is to install another clean out in front yard, which will be $6000. Oh, my goodness, I knew silicon valley is expensive, didn't know it will literally cost thousands to unclog a sewer pipe. So I declined his offer, and paid him $77 for the failed snake service. To be fair, their phone service is fantastic. I called late night last night, one lady answered the phone immediately and arranged the morning service. I got text notification at 7:20 am that Edgar was coming. Too bad the unclogging itself didn't work out.

From the moment he arrived to service the clogged pipes in my bathroom sink and bathtub (long hair problems; hair catchers don't always catch everything, ifykyk), he was courteous, kind, professional, and even cracked a few jokes here and there that made the entire experience that much more enjoyable. He worked quickly to identify the issue, took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done, and within an hour had both drains unclogged and the work space clean and tidied up. We have a three-level townhouse. On Friday night, we suddenly encountered a nightmare-like issue of sewage backup. A large amount of waste came up from the sewer and flooded the toilet and shower on the first floor. Marco was available soon after I called. He was very professional and the drain clearing was the least expensive I have paid yet to date for the service. We discussed the root cause (old iron pipes) and he went under the house to provide a quote. I'm very happy with the service I received. Update: after getting a number of quotes to replace the 40+' long 2" drain under the house, I chose to have Rooter Hero do the job. The professionalism continued and I am very happy with the work and the cost was the most reasonable of the quotes I got. I requested a camera view of the pipe before work began to confirm the problem and it was provided at no charge.

Eli and Tim were great! Water was leaking under my new refrigerator. The refrigerator repair person said it wasn't the frig, but the old icemaker hose that was connected to my previous one. He turned it off, but I needed to contact a plumber to turn on my water filter and disconnect the ice maker tubing. Plumbers Eli and Tim were able to install a new shut off valve so I could use my water filter. Tim crawled under the house and was able to remove the unnecessary tubing while Eli was under the kitchen sink communicating with him. They were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would use Rooter Hero Plumbing again.

I would like to say this one the best one specially the employee name Mr. Jermey . He was polite, professionally, fast, nice clean clothe on, with nice face and hair , no under cover charge and when he came to work he didn't say anything for extra charge because of this or that ... did the work fast and talked very nicely to the customer. Although the work was done correctly, we were GOUGED for the fee. The plumber arrived at 2:20, made my wife sign an estimate for $1,000 and left to get materials. Simple job, easily accessible in the garage, should have had the copper fittings with him, but he returned at 3:10 and finished the work and left at 3:40. Even with time to go get materials, the plumber was on the job for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. How does that warrant $1,000. I will never use these shysters again and recommend you don’t too! I came home to find my wife had written a check for over $1,000 and didn’t even get a receipt.

The shut off valve to our 18 year-old toilet failed at midnight on the Saturday evening of the Labor Day weekend. Called Roto Hero at 8 AM on Sunday morning. By 9 AM Roto Hero dispatched Will to our house. At 10 AM Will showed up and gave us a very reasonable quote. Very professional. By 11 AM he had replaced the shut off valve and our water was back on! Professional, courteous and reasonably priced for an emergency call. Roto Hero is now in my contact list as my go-to plumber!

Drain cleaning service was excellent, professional. After the service was done, I saw on their website that they were offering the drain cleaning service for a discounted price. I contacted the company a couple of times asking why they charged me much more than the price on their website. I never got an answer. The plumber technician, Hector, was wonderful! Very professional and caring about solving our plumbing issues. Hector thoroughly cleaned out our drain and everything is now flowing nice the way it was before. Hector even offered to look under the house to be sure our drain pipes weren’t leaking underneath (everything was okay). The best plumbing service I’ve ever received. Adrian did a great job on our clogged tub drain. He had to work at it pretty hard, as our pipes are 70 years old. He was on time, well spoken, clean (he put on fresh boot covers), respectful, and thorough. He cleaned and disinfected the whole work area before leaving. And we retired folks surely appreciate the senior discount. This was our second time with this company, which says a lot. A good experience, notwithstanding the circumstances.

The offer on the site stated that they will charge $77 for one time drain unclogging but there is a fine print. Long story short, I was quoted $224 for a drain unclogging that literally took 10 mins. For reference the sewer snake machine costs $230 and I could future proof myself if I had gone that route. Also, this was not like a urgent job at odd hours Lesson - always good to have a local plumber who you can trust for odd jobs like these

I thought I needed a toilet reseated due to leakage, but the plumbing engineer they sent was not convinced this was a problem after inspecting the toilet. He suggested a couple possible sources of the leak. And he didn’t charge me anything for this. He was very friendly, very professional, and gave very good advice. The technician was courteous, efficient and professional, and provided an estimate before starting the job. We used Rooter Hero several times in the past, and we will do it again.

The technician was great at communicating issues to us and went above and beyond to help us. The issue couldn’t get fixed, but that wasn’t because of the technician. The fix they implemented made the overall issue less bad. Now we just need to address the bigger issue in a next step during a renovation.
