I Accidentally dropped my first and only drink and unfortunately the glass broke. I felt so terrible, up until the lady bartender told me that I had to leave 2mins after arriving. She was the most nasty uncompromising judgemental publican I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, she was not even interested in what I had to say, I didn't get to say anything in my defence. I was disgusted and extremely embarrassed for myself and my wife. I'm a reasonable person and don't just go around breaking things on purpose. Hopefully she'll have a better attitude and remember that accidents happen you don't have to be a tyrant, we're not all misfits in Elizabeth. I'm not dissing anyone... I believe Even the misfits deserve some respect from the people who take their hard earned money...

EDIT: Had an invite from a friend 2 nites later for same venue. Was not sure whether to cancel or attend. Well, what a totally different experience tonight was. Food served in 10 mins. Was a much bigger group and it was amazing service. Loved the food, staff were wonderful and compensated us for the service 2 days prior. I am glad I gave it another try, it's local so good to know we got somewhere local to go. Thank you, guys. Birthday girl was happy. Waited way to long for food. We had a booking so they should have been prepared for our orders. 1 child had to eat food alone as meal arrived after all others had finished. Booking was for 6pm, left right after eating (so young children can get to bed. School night) was 8.30pm. Streak was grisly and uneatable. Very disappointed.

Very poor service!!! My family and I had a booking for 6pm for dinner. 7 adults and 4 children. 3 children’s meals came out at 7pm the last one at 7.30pm, the adults meals started to come out at at 7.45pm and the last one at 8.15pm. I complained and wasn’t offered any compensation was just told they only had one chef on but they should have never have booked us if they couldn’t accommodate us. Most of the food was good but the steak was poorly cooked and was very gristly and couldn’t be eaten and also wasn’t offered a steak knife. Might have been a good idea to offer the children free ice cream as we had to wait so long after they had eaten.

From the moment you walk in to the moment you walked out the experience was outstanding. The stuff welcome us straight away. Our seats was ready. The dining area was clean. We ordered and within 20 mins our food was ready. Fresh and homemade. Everything was well cooked, well plated. I've been to many pubs in my time and honestly this goes top 5. Do not let the location fooled you. If you want a beautiful meal and a place to take your family this is the place. I strongly recommend this to everyone. This is a place that needs to be back on the maps again. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I play pokies game on 8Jan2023 and after I lose more than a thousand you know when they close machine at 2am and win at the same time yours win is not added to the credit you already have they refuse to give what ever you win they told as it is already added to your credit but you know it’s is not. This pokies game store need and deserved people who are who honest to customer specially after you lost a lot money like me. Shame on their personality the way they lies to the person what ever they are.

Good points: Staff were warm and friendly and did their best. Dessert was lovely. The only reason for the 2 stars. Bad points: my husbands schnitzel was so burnt he couldn't eat it. It took almost 2 hrs to get our entree, dinner and dessert. Only 3 staff appeared to be working and they were spread very thin. This meant it took over 10minutes waiting to get our drinks despite no one else waiting.

I needed a quick place to stay one night, and even though I called at 10:00 PM at night, they still allowed for a late check-in. The facilities were basic, but nothing less than advertised. The noise from the pub below was minimal and didn’t prevent me from sleeping. Returning a few weeks later. The dinner service was great, and the beers on tap refreshing.

Exceeded my expectations for a small outer suburban hotel. My room was large and clean. I was adjacent to the stairwell though and this was a bit noisy. The restaurant offered good variety, daily specials and a discount for in-house guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy to recommend if you need accommodation in the Elizabeth/Playford area.

Today myself and six friends chose to eat lunch here for our once a month lunch catch up. How pleasantly surprised we were with the meals. Everyone got their meal promptly and came out hot and with a fresh side salad. The staff were happy and the service was excellent. Great team work good job.

I didn't have very high expectations given the bad reports I had heard about the place. We had just been to a funeral and decided as a group to have lunch there. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was great and so was the lunch. I would recommend the Rose & Crown hotel.

Accommodation a nice surprise and was very good, comfy, clean, modern renovated rooms, great beds slept so well here, Netflix, serviced daily, staff in the bar very friendly and helpful, and for the price great value !

Rooms where clean and well serviced got our six day stay Staff where friendly and very helpful We had a work group of 5 for a week and everyone was happy with the location all room clean and well serviced we have paid a lot more for a lot less in Adelaide

Caring and kind staff made the experience even better. Unfortunately no kitchen on site yet but the staff are happily able to help you out finding a good place to eat.

My partner and I thought it would be nice to have lunch at the Rose & Crown 5/4/23 but after ordering drinks was advised meals are no longer being served. Very disappointing. No signage prior to entering or on the bar to let people know.

More of a pokies pub then a pub and if you book a room will have to order take away or visit another pub as they don't do dinner....rooms are nice tho

Friendly staff. I ordered a meal in the Sports Bar. It came out quickly and was delicious. Served with salad & bread roll with butter portion. Good value for $12.

Good local pub, good when winning, not so good when loose, walking distance. So not bad.

It could get noisy in our room from the bar but that is to be expected. Meals where good and alway very quick. Service was also good.

Had a steak amazing...staff so lovely They were wonderful to the kids...we will be back next time im down
