This location is nice and has alot of selection but the loss prevention measures are so over the top its absurd. Trying on clothes you are required to set items on a "special rack" and have an associate Pat down the clothes and meticulously count the items. It feels more like a TSA check point than a clothing store. There are security tag on EVERYTHING, literally every item is tagged. While looking at shoes we witnessed a little girl about 4 years old try on a pair of shoes. She was poked by the needle side of a security tag. It obviously was very tramatic for the girl and her family. The staff seemed lackadaisical about the event. I felt horrible for the girl and would have been outragged if it was my daughter. While I did find selctions that I liked at this store I really hated the experience. Customers should not be treated as guilty theifs from the outset. Theres no need for such hostility if you are already tagging every item and checking bags at the door. If Ross is going to excessively use securiry tags then the tags need to be completely safe. A child should not be injured to protect a $15 pair of shoes.
A review for a friend who had a bizarre experience today: Unbelievable. After waiting forever in the huge line to checkout, I was told they do NOT give coins in change. Seriously, if your total came to $32.47 they will not give you the $0.53 change if you hand over $43.00 so the change would at least be a ten dollar note but should be $10.53 How is that different to theft of goods without paying? That is shoplifting in reverse. It’s theft, by the shop, acting like Robin Hood helping charities they might claim! This is absolutely disgusting that a business the size of Ross Dress for Less would implement such a policy. Apart from theft, it’s really, “Ross Dress for More Than The Less the tickets on the items said.” Unless Associate 817199 got the policy wrong on register 5 at store 1796 @12:40pm today (Transaction 6577). I asked her how they could do this and she said I have to donate it. I’m not able to work and earn my own wage here. I don’t claim any social benefits, and every penny counts for me. I thought Ross was a place that catered for thrifty shoppers. Maybe not.
Trish & the girls here are all so sweet and helpful. The store always looks good - it is truly one of the busiest stores & can get chaotic but even if a few things get ransacked on a holiday weekend, I can honestly say this: 1) the crew here is always working - you will not find them standing around & 2) the store is always clean! There might be a pile up of clothes after an aloof customer tries on 27 items but the store will always be clean - wiped, dusted, mopped, sanitized, clean. How this crew stays as cheerful as they do with never-ending gobs of “didnt we just do this” piling up is beyond me but they do! 5 +stars for a happy, hard working crew we could all stand to be a little more like!
Been there twice Friday. 9am morning crew were putting out new items and cleaning areas which were nice to see. Later that evening around 7pm took my mother their and needless to say looked like a Texas tornado went through. Long line at checkout, staff on floor scanning clothes and letting other employees know about cheap prices on stuff. Mother thought how rude that was. Manager there just standing in front of store doing nothing. Mom said all her years in retail (35) she said if this were her store and were manager she would be out on the floor fixing the tornado size mess , and for those employees looking at clothes would be cleaning up, on another register or sent home.
Occasionally good finds at low cost, but horrible, horrible customer service. Almost always a RIDICULOUS line at check out. Example: recently the line was snaking all the way through the rope barrier things, and down one of the main isles of the store toward the back. Get to the front and see two people checking. A third, who appeared to be of some supervisory capacity, was standing there languidly sorting those tiny plastic beads from the top of hangers that indicate garment size. No rush. She was oblivious too the customers waiting. The store is usually a mess and nothing is where it's supposed to be. Weekends are especially awful.
I tried returning something here and lost my receipt and cashier said I could only get back a dollar for a dress that I bought for more. Since when is the price different just because you don't have the receipt?? It's still has the tags on it . I should at least get store credit but said she could only give me a dollar. That's ridiculous I've never heard of that. She claims they mark things down until they can no longer be marked down. Items supposedly exist being only 49 cents. Have any of you out there ever bought something for that price because I'd like to know where the 49 cent stuff is located. The audacity.
Your store is a disaster. If you expect people to buy, I would suggest keeping it organized. If you need me to do it, just ask and for the right price I can turn it around for you. Very unorganized. I got frustrated and left. From the shoes to the clothes and accessories, it's a disaster. You would have much more success and purchases if it was easier to get around and find the right sizes etc. It's like a mix between an earthquake and a hurricane busted thru the windows and disarrayed everything. If you want a successful business, I would take a little pride in your work.
I’ve taken ppl to this location several times but I always stay in the car. So I’ve only been inside 1-2 times. They always have a better selection than the Ross near us (hurst/watauga locations) kind of messy but aren’t most locations like that? I found a cart full of things that day. I wish cashiers would pay attention to removing the tags that set off the alarms. If you do your job, I wouldn’t have to be stopped like I’m stealing. Mistakes happen but please pay more attention.
I’m very dissatisfied with the presence of the store and the lack of knowledge from its employees and they’re not capable of fixing a simple problem so now I’m leaving the store without my purchase now, because you have employees who don’t have knowledge on how to use your system, which is pretty sad, and I’ll never ever ever ever come to this Ross ever again. This was a waste of my time and now I have to go to another store Ross has lost my business.
I personally like the store, even though it's hit or miss. I found some real gems here for way cheaper then what I would have paid at the department store. The store kind of has a little bit of everything for anybody in your family including the dog. This is a store that I would definitely check out once a week or once every two weeks to give them a chance to refresh their inventory.
You gotta love the absolute randomness about Ross's inventory. From good and inexpensive clothes to legit dried pasta made from spinach, I love it. The staff is very nice yet quick to their work. There's nothing too much to add about customer service other then it's pretty great like most stores. Other then that, this place is definitely getting a high rating from me.
Will not let you try on bras in the fitting room. Not only did they lose a customer that day but they lost a customer for good. I understand not letting you try on undies but a number of stores allow you to try on swim suits. Went next door to TJ Max and was able to try on bras with no issues at all. (TJ Max has nice close and looks cleaner/more organized too)
This is the worst Ross store I’ve ever been in! It’s in such disarray! Shoes and purses strewn around with toys, the shelves are very messy, stuff on the floor!! It’s very obvious that it’s not taken care of! It’s 1:15 in the afternoon and there’s ONE person checking out and I am #8 in line! No manager in sight or anyone to greet customers….
.The experience that I had it was amazing. They were very professional, They will go far and beyond so you have the best experience ever. I would highly recommend this store to anyone ,I Love this store, the staff is beautiful and the service the owner gives is outstanding. They helped us and explained all of my questions! Il Thanks so much
We went to Ross on a busy Saturday morning. The store was well lit and seemed stocked. We were looking for shoes and were able to find something that would work. The cashier was pleasant but pushed for the credit card pretty aggressively. That always makes the experience unpleasant. Overall we would return but might try other places first
This site is quite disorganized. Still, you can find really good deals if you have the patience to look around. The store is also dirty as many of Ross stores are. Employees are about a 6.5 out of 10, in terms of welcoming and helpful, in my personal experience. I can't wait to see then get better. I really want to like this store.
Went there just the other day and found this amazing backpack purse that I am going to use on my So I'm not into like big names or anything so this backpack purse is perfect! I also got this amazing wind chimes that sounds so good when the wind blows it and this beautiful thermal that I'm also going to use on my cruise! …
Illogical policies in place. You can't try clothes on, or they will need to be quarantined, yet you are able to touch clothes with unwashed hands? Dirty hands are much more likely to spread a virus than touching someone's arms or legs. They might as well close their stores. Went to Old Navy instead where fitting rooms are open.
I found a cute little USED DRESS here. It smelled like detergent and had no tag on it. But the store has the audacity to put a security tag on it to make it seem as if it never left the store. It was not worth the security tag. And the manager still wanted a full price of 10.99 (not security worthy) for their USED DRESS. YEAH.
This place is, eh. Not a lot of variety and I wish they have a better buyer for this store. I hate to see this Ross go out of business. They are lacking variety of merchandise and the choices are, eh. This ROSS is located next to HomeGoods/TJ Maxx and need to step up their game. Staff are nice though.
This isn’t the best Ross location I’ve ever shopped, but it’s far from the worst either! Most of the time I can find something decent in stock, and at a great price. We love shopping at Ross because you get mall clothing at a fraction of the price. We come here often and will continue to do so.
Well employees are super rude and not helpful at all. Also good luck fitting into the dressing rooms, which are made for children I swear. Will never return to this store. Seems like they are more worried about people stealing their stuff than actually providing any sort of customer service.
They have some nice clothes if you can find a place that hasn't been picked through and torn up by other customers. Inexpensive products dont usuallu last forever but okay for a place to pick up something specific. Went for black shoes, came out with black shoes for under $20.
Great prices, good quality and good selection, you can find pretty much everything, you just need to get there at the right time and on the right day of the week, right when they restock everything, otherwise you are going to spend more time finding what you are looking for!
I always make at least one impulse purchase whenever I set foot inside a Ross store. The merchandise, selection and prices are awesome. I do not particularly mind that the clothing and shoes are last season’s leftovers. I will surely return to this store.
I realize that shopping during the Xmas season can be crazy. However only having two people to run a register and a line that twists and turns through the store seems like an issue. Shop for 30 minutes to an hour, then stand in line for another hour.
Sometimes it's a little messy but overall not bad. I usually have a hard time finding pants and shorts in my size (which is small) but they have a plentiful selection for sizes large and up. It is also harder to find higher end shoes there nowadays.
They have the same stuff and when they get new merchandise it is completely blown out I mean it seriously like you have to be there when the store opens or you just feel like they never get a shipment in because all you see is the same things
Worst customer service ever, if you want to get ignored to get try on they jewelry come here! The last time I come to this store, the girl that was at the jewelry section saw me standing there for at least 5 minutes didn’t say a word to me.
I love shopping for certain "finds of different kinds"...never know what they are going to have, but I will no longer buy clothes or shoes from this store. And yes, there is a reason, if corporate is interested in talking to me.
This location is pretty decent with a good variety of choices. However, the Home Goods department needs to be tended to as there were rugs all over the aisles and things that were constantly in the way of maneuvering our carts.
I dont have any issue with the store. Cheap prices. Unfortunately we were looking for something very specific that they didn't have but most places we went to didnt have it either so that's not on Ross. Besides that it's fine.
I love this store but I went in on a day when it was overly packed, shoppers just dropped a clothing item on the floor instead of back on the rack. Cute store but I feel awful for the staff having to deal with that nonsense.
I absolutely love going to Ross. They always have a variety of clothes to shop for and nothing is way too expensive. I have found numerous things from Ross that I absolutely loved and have bought. Ross is the place to go!
6 checkout stands and only 1 stand opened, 30 people in line and gaining, drop my stuff and walked out, to go next door where they actually have cashiers, my basket was full to , not coming back, it's always like this
Are there any workers here at all? I'm not usually one to complain, but holy cow. This place makes it impossible to shop, unless you like browsing for items that are on the floor. Literally no upkeep in this store.
It's a hit or miss shop. Sometimes, I get exactly what I want, many times it's full of old and damaged junk. The 3 is for the kitchen section, the prices are good, and I always find what I'm looking for. …
This is my all time favorite location. I have been to may locations and this is the only place that I can find items everytime I visit. They are always stocked and I love the variety of items in the store.
There are always great finds in this store. The pandemic has impacted the store stock quite a bit though. There is hardly anything at all in the Home/Garden section lately. Hopefully this gets better soon.
We went in looking for a specific color dress which sadly they didnt have. We were greeted at the door by a friendly associate. The isles were nicely organized better than most Ross stores I have been to.
Had a bunch of clothes to try on. They were really good about letting me switch them out. Been to other ross and they treated me like i was tryin to steal something. Not here. They were great!
I was very disappointed. Items were on the floor. I almost slipped on the things that were on the floor. Disorganization at its best! The cashier at the counter was very nice and helpful!
So I move all my apartment to my grandmother's with house or more grandmother's house and I will be there about 7 and they were pretty cheap compared to the Walmart looks nice size words
It's a good Ross. The selection was picked through. And the prices were a little higher than I have seen at other Ross stores. Although we were able to find things that we needed.
Very messy store. The cashier had a pair of shoes rang up and tried to tie it into my bill, tonight. Sorry Miguel, I'll have to know you a lot better before I go buying you shoes.
It's a nice enough place that keeps improving, little by little. They can't help it that some folks like tossing their way through the shelves, but they do well in cleaning it up.
It was easy for me to find what I needed but I also waited 20 minutes in line with only 2 in line ahead of me. The manager seemed to completely dissappear during that time too.
We went on Xmas eve so it was cleared out but itwas the only place I found the last minute gifts I needed. I would go back anytime Cruz normally they have a great selection.
Always find great deals and cute stuff here. Last time I got 60 bucks worth of clothes that'd probably be 200 or more elsewhere. Great location. Great staff. Great deals.
Nothing is ever in stock. The population is too large for this small ross. The lines are extremely long, there's barely any customer service. This Ross is poorly managed.
They were great. I called ahead for a parfum and they had it waiting. Line was a little long but it moved pretty fast. In And out in 15 minutes. Great and friendly staff.
Price is getting to high for kids clothes. Not much of a selection for girls clothing. I worked at Ross before and I know they get a truck in at least 5 days a week.
You can't ever beat their prices. They always have good close, nice shoes, and cool stuff for the house. It definitely helps shopping there when you are on a budget.
This is the worst Ross I've ever been to. This was the 2nd time I have gone to this one. It's always dirty, messy, unorganized...just a hot mess.. VERY DISAPPOINTED
This store needs a good coordinator, the shelves are bare, and the stuff looks like it's from a flea market. I normally like Ross, but this one needs some help.
Fairly large store. Not a lot of merchandise at present but not sure how long they have been open post COVID. Find prices reasonable. Long checkout lines.
Customer service was a joke, the store was a complete wreck. The friendly loss prevention security guard at the door is the only reason I gave the star.
Great place if you like playing hide and seek with your clothes. Good deals generally. Definitely not organized or especially pristine, but it's do-able
Has all I was looking for and more I found DC comic art it was the best beautiful jewelry bought like $80 worth of jewelry and snacks and clothes for
I enjoy shopping at Ross for shoes and handbags. I usually have good luck. This location is typically a little more organized than some others.
Exactly what tou would expect from the store like this. I like the way clothes is organized. Great place for not so fancy everyday clothing.
I found what I was looking, plus some! Nice, clean store! The cashier gave a seniir discount (on Tuesdays)that I didn't even know about!
Such a mess but found what I needed and amber the cashier was super sweet. Dressing room smells like feet and the bathroom was gross.
I wasn't super impressed. The kids section was pretty bare. And items they did have were still priced a little high in my opinion.
Store was in good shape. Most of the time it looks like tornado alley. We went early in the morning and had a good experience.
Ross is great they have a lot of great stuff in the prices are really reasonable I enjoyed my visit here be sure and stop by.
Zero stars if I could. The worker there named Dulce was no help at all and extremely rude. Won't be shopping there again.
Friendly staff. Sometimes they have a good selection. Sometimes if can be slim pickings. Clean location. Will shop again.
They don’t honor the return customers in a decent time. You wait forever while they take care of the regular purchases.
The Line is always extremely long. There were 2 cashiers on Friday at 5pm and no less than 15 people standing in line.
Very nice cheap name brand. A designer back pack was $47, at Ross $24. A hoodie was marked $39 bit at Ross $7.99.
Never know what you will find, whatever it is will be priced right. Tuesday is senior day prices are even better.
This is one of my favorite stores to shop for most of the things .not to mentioned their great prices!!!!
Great place to shop. Lots of random unique items from home goods to everyday and special occasion clothes
Realllllly hot in this store. Out of stock of EVERYTHING. The prices are not as good as they used to be.
Pretty cool store, with nice people working here. Thanks y'all, for the good shopping experience!
Dirty, unorganized, prices of damaged goods not marked down. Might as well be another Dirt Cheap.
Store absolutely cluttered from days prior. Items all over the floor, unorganized, a total mess!
It was short staffed so lines were long . Didn't get everything I wanted but got some stuff.
I love Ross it's just so messy sometimes but it's affordable and you can find good deals.
Super busy on the weekends. Lines are long, but good spot for some deals on clothing etc.
Is always great to come to Ross, I always find something I didn’t know I needed …
It's a Ross and we all know what they offer. I just sit and wait for my better half.
Great name brand clothes at 75%off. Great way to shop for kids clothes and adults.
I had a great experience the lines were super long though only 2 registers open
Feels pretty run down but found a really nice $100 Nike bathing suit for $25.
Use to be my favorite store but Marshall's quality in clothes is best.
It cool... just your normal ross... nothing more special than another
Good prices and friendly staff. Would visit this location again.
Always nice things and great prices..you can't go wrong
Absolutely loved it, esp at night not so crowded.
Love to shop there. They always has nice things !
Almost always find what I need at a good price
It's a great place for branded clothing.
I found exactly what I needed …
I love this store for cheap prices
Always Crowded. Decent prices
Lots of variety today
Good deals here!
