I went in to replace some much needed work clothes. I always love the selection and price. However, I had to use the restroom and Cathy, the dressing room attendant, stated the restrooms were "out of order". She was kind of off-putting but I didn't think much about it, probably just having "one of those days". I then went to enter the dressing room and she told me I couldn't bring my six-year -old in the dressing room with me because he was a boy. I have NEVER had this happen in any store - ever. I explained I was a single mom and wasn't comfortable leaving him alone. She just reiterated he was not allowed in the dressing room. My son took it in stride as he was standing in front of the toy aisle. I told him to stick close, I would be right out and the lady was there if he needed anything. Less than 5 minutes later I was out of the dressing room. My son was dutifully standing there admiring the toys and Cathy was nowhere to be found. In her place were two wonderful ladies, whose names, sadly, I did not get. I asked them if I could use the restroom to which they happily agreed and let me in. I finished my shopping and when I went to check out there were two registers open, one with Cathy and one with another gentleman named Tay. Cathy refused to acknowledge me or wait on me. Tay was less than thrilled to be at work that day, he seemed pretty bored. After I completed my purchase I went over to Cathy's register and asked if she was the manager. "Yes". Of course you are. I asked if she had a boss, she stated his name was "JoJo". I asked to speak with him. However thrilled Tay was to be working that day, I can tell JoJo was even less so. When I explained the way I had been treated by Cathy he blinked several times and stated the restroom was indeed, out-of-order. I simply stated it wasn't out of order because I used it. His response, "I don't know who let you in because one of the stalls are backed up." Well the stall I was allowed to use wasn't backed-up. Silence. And more blinking. When I explained my six-year-old son wasn't allowed in the dressing room with me, he responded by blinking several more times. I waited. He waited. No conversation. No apology. Awkward. So I decided to post this review to let people know what kind of store this is and what you can expect while shopping there. No wonder Amazon is doing so well...

The store is clean and well lit. There are a wide variety of items, though the overwhelming majority of items in the store are clothing, followed by shoes, housewares, accessories and miscellaneous. Overall staff were helpful. I managed to find a number of bulky items I had considered purchasing that filled my cart. The cashier was less than pleasant; an anomaly to everyone else. When I asked if I could take the items to my car in the cart, she appeared annoyed and indicated the tall bar on the cart prevented them from being taken out of the store. (Apparently this limits customer purchases to only what they can carry?) I then asked if she would put a new bag on the one whose handle broke when she tried to lift it. She begrudgingly did so. Hope she was just having a bad day.

It was the worst experience I've had in a long time.The staff were horribly rude,pick and choose who they want to help,passing other customers completely, offering dirty looks. The managers on day and night shift totally oblivious to their staffs behavior.I witnessed one well dressed lady leave without purchasing anything like her back-end was on fire.The store is a sloppy unorganized mess.Some clothing looked as if it had been used as a rag to wipe the filthy floor.If I had been a manager in that store and it had been brought to my attention that a customer was treated in such a way they would be looking for a new job and have a scathing reference.If you like dealing with attitudes go shopping at this store! I will never go back!!!

Let me start off by saying I love the products, prices, & inventory! It's what keeps bringing me back. However, the customer service is consistently what is so disappointing. I'm just not used to experiencing less than friendly stores in the Northland. The loss prevention security always has a smile on their face & will tell you to have a nice day. Not sure if they are employees or a third party company. But unfortunately, I have yet to have one employee great me, smile, say have a nice day, or willing to help. The moral of the staff could use an employee appreciation day!

I am a.handicap person I purchased some large. Wall art and was using the cart to take to my car. I was stopped at the door and the young man did not offer any help. Happened that an very nice lady was coming in while i.was trying to get my item to the car. She helped with the item and I thank her very much very kind of her. In this case the young man could have helped ....I spent over $100.00 bucks that day I think they should have offer some help. All of you will be older one day or sick and you may need a helping hand. Thanks again to that young lady who helped me

I just BOUGHT this purse on Sunday at this location. I wore it for the first time today and it breaks then slips off my body. I called and spoke with Joshua, who tells me I can either do a return, do an exchange, or store credit if I either have the receipt or the tags. I explained to Joshua U threw my tags away in the trash this am. Luckily my sister didn't throw out the trash. So I have to make two trips back via the bus to my apartment and Ross near Zona Rosa. I need those tags, according to Joshua! There was no apology given. Great customer service...not!

Today my rate is a zero star. I went there to look at the home goods, they do have good prices, but the employees ruined it for me. I used the bathroom and notice one stall had a major cleanliness issue, so when I went out I let the gal know. She told everyone on the radio and then said "they already complaining ". Well, it wasn't a complaint but a heads up because it was disgusting. I made sure she knew I heard her and then left. Not sure why people get into customer service and act like customers are interrupting their day. Nice job Ross employees.

I am obsessed with Ross. The prices are always great. I gave it a 4 because the selection is pretty thin. The boys kids rack could use more selection and organization. 80 percent of the time the customer service is good. Though there are some female cashiers and a lady in the mid 30s that could work on their customer service. A smile and a kind voice can take you far. I hope to see a little more cheer the next time I visit or the unfriendly workers not there they change the shopping experience a little. Customer service is soooo important.

I made a purchase on 5/5/21 and just floored on the lack of customer service of Associate #465147. First of all, I stood at the jewelry counter for 5 minutes and she offered ZERO assistance. Then I go to check out and once done no THANK YOU. So, I said thanks and she said your welcome. Shouldn't it be the other way around? If this girl is a manager i feel sorry for you. Absolutely, one of the worst experiences ever. KCMO store 1668.

I really love this store. Last night i was thrilled to see that it was open late so I went in for some me time. Wow sooo many kids running wild! I felt sorry for the employees for being responsible for cleaning up after the little heathens. The parents were letting the kids run wild and make a mess. The employee's maintained friendly costumer service even through all the kids were loud and clearly up past bedtime.

I enjoy Ross because they have such a wide variety of products, the prices are great and I almost always find something unexpected but great! This is my favorite location as it seems to be bigger, neater, more well organized and generally cleaner than the other locations o have been to. This location (probably because it is bigger) also seems to have more variety than some of the others I have shopped.

They have great finds but be prepared to wait forever to check out because even though you will see all kinds of employees walking around, they will not jump on a register when the lines back up 10 people deep. And that's at noon, at 3pm and at night and regardless if its a weekday or weekend.. (it makes you wonder if it's their policy to penalize you for trying to take advantage of a few good deals.)

If you're shopping for clothes I suggest you stop by here first. They have great prices for quality clothes. They also have shoes, blankets, decor, toys for kids, baby things, and more. I only have 4 stars because one of the lady's working there kept giving be dirty looks when I was waiting patiently for my mother in law it get out of the fitting room.

So I went to this Ross and walked in, without a face mask, because I have a very rare form of asthma, I cannot have my breathing restricted, I informed the lady of this she told me I still have to, I said no I don't I know what the state law is and federal she told me to leave, and I did, I would also like to add I was respectful the whole time

Sometimes cluttered but …sometimes you find a good worthy bargain if you dig…most everything in the apparel dept is cheap and not just saying cheap as in pricing. I call it disposable clothing..wear it once maybe twice then throw it away. It’s a fun store to shop on a little cash. Need to go often they restock with new things on a weekly basis.

I enjoy walking through here. I'm not the biggest Shopper in the world. Usually I'm taking my wife over there to do some shopping. I always seem to find something I like regularly. It's amazing to me how much inventory they rotate through this showroom floor. Staff seems Pleasant as well. Keep up the good work Ross!

It was awesome they've got extended hours they're open till 11:00 p.m. up until December 1st and then after that they stay open till midnight found some new reeboks for 20 bucks and my wife found two pairs of shoes some pumas and some Gucci shoes both pairs under 50 bucks awesome store I love Ross dress for less

I love the clothing but sometimes when I go it looks like a tornado went through. Like right now at 7pm on a Friday. Looks like they are very busy but I couldn't even find shoes in my size. I had to go through each individual rack to see if there were any my size no matter what the sign stated.

What a disorganized mess!!! I visit a lot of Ross stores and this one was the worst. Plenty of employees just walking around.... Clothes all over the floor, clothing sizes and hangers don't match strewn about. Random racks with odd ball clothes. Nothing good to say at all about this store.

If you find what you're looking for here you'll usually find it for a great price. I check here before I buy elsewhere for many misc items and am usually pleased with what I find, and buy it. Just check items for damage and go early rather than late in the day for less busy shopping.

It's a very nice store to shop at. Great to do last minutes birthdays gifts. Also once in a while they have nice decorative items for the house like art work, living room decorations , kitchens and bedrooms decorations. Once in a while they also have fragrances cologne and perfumes.

I just can't believe that you have at least 40 people in line and only two people checking out. I left my cart. There are too many other choices in this city. Not the first time I've seen this situation either. Too bad because I really enjoy shopping at Ross otherwise

For a resale store, it had very valuable clothes for a very comfortable price. I was greeted by a nice man when I walked in, and he told me to have a nice day when I walked out. Good secondary store to go to if you don't find what you're looking for elsewhere.

Long lines but it was Christmas time. Things were messy. But that's expected when you have customers just rummaging through stuff. Employees tried to check out people as fast as they could though. Have to appreciate those who work in retail. It's hard.

The store workers made me feel less then welcome and we're very rude to me!! Which really sucks for Ross's altogether because Ross has a very good franchise that I enjoy shopping at!! Too bad this store in the Northland has very bad customer service!

One of your cashiers refused me service and told me to leave and said you all were "closed" 10 minutes before you actually closed. I work in customer service and just because you want to close early doesn't mean you can tell customers to leave.

I moved from FL to MO and visited this establishment, employee's are very welcoming and polite. I felt very comfortable while shopping and when it was time to check out Liberty and I believe the store manager has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Worse service. They didn’t scan an item and was treated like criminals. Then the cashier ran her mouth trying to fight my wife. Then threatened her to meet her “after work” with management next to us. Worse management and service.

I love Ross! I always find something cute and nice no matter who I'm shopping for. I just wish they had more people to fix shelves and not everything is organized where it should be. It makes finding some things a bit difficult.

Who don't love Ross? They have some really good clothes for really good prices. This particular one. The cashier that checked me out was super friendly. Super nice. You don't always get that at stores so thanks for that

10/7/23 I've visited this location several times. Being, it's the closest location to my home. The store is always clean and organized with multiple employees. The long line never takes long. Good variety of items.

Love absolutely adore this place! I bought a pair of nice Reebok, a pair of Jessica Simpson jeans, Coach perfume and a black leather jacket with a hoodie for around a $100. You just can't beat that

I love Ross! I'm not going to lie, sometimes it's hot or miss finding what you need or want. However, you can always go to another one and they may have it. Prices make the extra work worth it.

Elderly lady had an accident and was in the restroom alone and embarrassed. Staff just giggled and laughed at their customer rather than lift a finger to help. Despicable people work here.

It always smells like dirty diapers for some reason. The prices aren't that great anymore, and a lot of items lately have been damaged or opened (twice now, didn't see until I was home).

Love, love, love Ross! They are the best on prices and have all name brands, great styles, and something for everyone of every size in your family! My favorite shopping place of all!

We came here to shop for school backpacks. The store had a good selection to pick from. The prices are always great. Check out was great since we came early.
