Ross is like a little hobby me and my girlfriend like to do. We love perusing the store and the neat selections it has to offer. I find myself getting some items here I would want cheap but stylish and it does have a surprising amount of quality with several things in the store. We enjoy the "doodads" aisle, basically the set top pieces aisle with the hand statues/random sculptures. I usually make it a point to look for medieval kind of pieces like figures of Knights etc, not always there but occasionally I'll find the random knight with a broken sword(from some customer I'd imagine!) We often find a few nice shirts and other pieces of clothing here at a very fair price. I get compliments at work very frequently for some of the things my girlfriend helps me pick out (even a hawaiian shirt I bought for summer event at work!) The clothing selection I've worn frequently and they're still in good condition even after frequent use especially on some of my pants I wear all the time. We got a few pillow cases here and sheets as well. Pain points of the store would be the cleanliness at times. Sometimes they'll have racks where they're stocking items just sitting blocking some aisles, or leave them out with nothing on them and not take them back into the back. Maybe I don't understand the complexities of their stocking system but it gets pretty obtrusive at times. Also items generally get strewn about pretty often in the shoes aisles and some other aisiles at times, and not cleaned up promptly. I understand that could be from some messy customers, but it'd be nice if they could stay ontop of that a little bit better. The wait times on the lines also leave a lot to be desired. Overall we still enjoy heading out to this Ross store very often and it's a fun little hobby we make of going there just browsing the selections and a go to place for me if I want some stylish clothes at an affordable price.

Hot disorganized mess! This store is lacking on up to date ladies tops and bottoms. Please make it current and appetizing to shop. I am a curious Shopper. I like to find good bargains such as designer brands at discount prices. I started off by selecting about 4 pairs of jeans, two of them being shorts because they caught my eye, I wanted to try them on. I liked the jeans I tried on. The style is designed for curvy women baut it ran 1 size too big. I kept this jean in hand with hopes of finding a smaller size. I shopped around a little longer to see if anything caught my attention went into the lingerie area to look at panties and the sizes were not sized correctly. A small was in the large a large was in the small. The same way with the shoes; oh my goodness! I wear a size 10 and shoes but what I found are size six seven eight eight and a half 12 and 11 shoes all mixed up. There were shoes piled in one spot. I gave up. So I went over to take a look at the belts. By that time I had enough so I put what I had in my hand back where I found them. This is probably one of the worst Ross stores I have been into end this and other cities. The cleanest and most organized place in that store was the fitting room. Good work ladies on keeping that fitting room together. I will not be returning.

The store seems to be a closeout store. Lots of clothes, a good amount of toys, some home decor some women's beauty aids, shoes, and a spattering of candy / snacks. Some items are name brands while others are not well known. Some items are priced reasonably in relation to the quality. Other items are just cheaply made and overpriced. The store was extremely cluttered. Many items were on the floor. The shelves are not zoned. Clothes are semi-grouped by season, but finding anything in one's size is hit or miss. Sizes all mixed and very few multiples of anything. Some things are cheaper than Walmart while other items are more expensive. This is generally speaking because Ross has thousands of brands and often only 1 of each item. The store is an accident waiting to happen; many slip, trip, & fall hazards due to merchandise strewn all over, including the floor. The manager needs zoning employees to declutter shelves, hang clothes by sizes, and remove baskets merchandise left everywhere (probably returns). It would be nice to have a clearance area. As it is, clearance items are randomly found while browsing the store. The staff was friendly. Hats to employees having to put up with the clutter. Even Gòod Will, which has many single items as well, seems less cluttered.

I went in for a few items. I went to look for kitchen knives and didn't find much of that. That section for kitchen tools hardly had Anything there. When it was time to check out. The wait was longer than the time it took to look for the things I was shopping for. There were employees standing around talking to each other and there were only 3 registers open. And a very long line behind me. All waiting to pay out their items. The store is not organized or well managed. There were things on the floor obstructing pathways to walk. Items were not neatly in place on the selves and not organized in proper order to make it more convent for the shoppers. There is defiantly poor management in this store. There is so much clutter on the floors and shelves and workers not doing there job. They are slow, standing around and talking to their co-workers and not doing the task at hand. Which is to organize the products in the store. Picking up the things that are on the floor and restocking items in their correct designated sections. The store is a mess with no organization or competent management.

This place had exactly what we needed but it was a little messy. Update: The managment and employees still need to make better efforts to clean the store during the peak times of customers as the store gets shopped during the weekends. There were some parts of the store that was cleaner then others. However, the management of lines during check out is a lot better today then most rosses. Overall would recommend this store but urge management and the employees to clean the store. At least keep products off the floor. Hope the next time I visit this ross will make the improvements. Update 2: Returned to store and still had the exact same outcome. This store has to be the dirtiest store in San Antonio. Staff is still friendly but its like they lost the reason to care about store presentation. My recommendation is to hire more staff on the weekend to keep store in clean condition. I have dropped this rating from a 4 star to a 2 star. I will most likely will not return in the future.

I actually feel bad for the employees here. It’s not their fault the bathroom look like the last remodel happened in 1972. The stalls are rusted. The mirrors have age spots. You can only try to shine something up so much. It’s a shame that their employees have no choice but to use those disgusting bathrooms. I felt so dirty for having even walked in there. Couldn’t bring myself to actually use the bathroom in there. Now let’s talk about their staffing. Again, not the employees fault but I definitely blame their corporate office for not providing an adequate payroll budget to staff enough people so the lines don’t go from the front to the back of the store. Often times, I have gone in and found many things I would love to buy, but the line is so long that I just leave without purchasing. I’ve seen other reviews for the same thing. Imagine how much money this location is losing just because they want to be cheap and not pay additional cashiers.

Wow have things changed from the last time I visited Ross. Granted it's tax free shopping this weekend I just feel things could have been a little better stocked and friendlier staff. Everything they had left was in disarray. They had long lines even though they had plenty of staff. I guess they were focused more on security because that's where they had two employee's and another sweeping the front entrance. My son who accompanied had an item to return and the staff seemed to be very unhappy to do the return. She even made it a point to tell the other customers who were waiting in line that she was sorry but she had to help my son first. There was no need to make that statement because we all had to wait in that line. Why be sorry? They could be sorry for the fact that they had long lines to begin with and not for a person who had a return.

Everything is good at Ross except not enough people working and they will not open the restroom there's no one standing there you have to walk all the way to the front to get them to open the restroom then you have to wait your turn one by one they don't care they don't have enough people working and then they close the restrooms for maintenance they say make sure you go to the restroom before you go to this place don't know why they can't get it together do you make enough money off of Everybody why should they inconvenience you

Bought a pair of black jean, stood in line waited cashier was had a bad attitude, I have a disability, Assoc:got frustrated with me and she wanted me to HURRY up instead talking to me she was yelling and being disrespectful Assoc I'd is 355357 SHE WAS RUSHING ME. She was banging the hanger around. She was yelling at another associate they even ask her was was she yelling and the associate 355357 said that she was deaf and she couldn't hear. It was insulting to me due to my disability I was being made fun of in front of my face.

The layout of this store is pretty much opposite of my usual Ross haunts, but it is pretty much mirrored, so it isn't hard to find things. I was very impressed with their selection of small furniture. I loved several of the pieces they had and will go back there for a couple of them. My only complaint is the lingerie section. It was crowded with absolutely no room for more than 1 person, much less a cart. As long as you aren't in the market for those items, I highly recommend this Ross location.

Waiting in a long line to purchase one item. A cashier was working the return register and one on the regular register. The cashier on the regular register was not very helpful. I believe her name was Janie. Well, Janie was talking with another staff about personal issues. The two walked off together towards the back leaving only the register for returns. The poor guy was swamped with returns and regular purchases. Leaving the customers waiting in line for longer periods. NOT FAIR!

We love shopping at Ross but usually hate the long lines and the rude cashiers- at most stores. They just want you in and out... I understand they are busy, but if you take it one person at a time, and try to be kind, your day can go by a bit smoother. Today was our first time at this location and JOANN was awesome!! She was the manager on duty- her badge said, area manager I think. She was multitasking and still made us feel welcome! Thank you for a nice experience!

Asked kindly to use the restroom. Employee rep said I had to wait. Stood waiting and staring at eachother. I waited and waited AND waited and then she disappeared NOT letting me use the restroom (they have to unlock the door and give you access to the restroom here). Basically stood there guarding the restroom not to help anyone and then dipped after I waited 20+ minutes. Ruined my experience being jerked around hoping to shop and get out.

We went to get a few small items since we were in the area. They never seem to have enough workers. The store seems to be in disarray. This is mainly due to people not putting clothes back on rack properly, and it falls on the floor. They are too lazy to pick it up. They don't watch their kids,running around inside store. The prices are lower than some places but we do not go their too often because of the above mentioned environment.

Store has always been clean but not this time. Trash was everywhere, trash can was so full it was spilling out of the bottom of the storage. I saw 5 employees walk by and ignore that it was over filled. There at least 8 employees doing small task. As if to pass the time. Over all Staff was friendly and food was ok not the way it was when they first opened. So sad to see a Wonderful Establishment go down. Maybe it will get better.

I love Ross, it's such an affordable place to shop for home décor, clothes and toys during Christmas season. But this Ross leaves soo much to be desired when it comes to cleanliness and order. I realize the Ross employees are not the cause of the chaotic mess but when I walk in just after opening at 8am and everything is disorganized and a mess it means a lot of someone's are not doing there job and restocking the shelves.

Never had any problems at this place the clothes is at great prices and they have great brands. They have cologne and other household items as well for reasonable prices. I only gave it a four because the line was super long and the cashier was rude and seemed as if he did not know what he was doing. But I can understand where he's coming from due to it being packed but they should have had two people working as cashier

My Family and I enjoy shopping here, staff is welcoming and helpful. We always find great deals. The only thing we do not like are their restrooms. Our last visit the hallway to restroom had a strong urine, with a moldy scent. I did inform an employee, she informed is aware and apologized. Of course we will shop there again due to great customer service and deals. But we hope restrooms area have been dealt with.

I went to Ross again tonight looking for a green toddler shirt and we found one. Then I found tennis shoes at a reasonable price that I would pay an arm/ leg at another name brand tennis shoe / department stores. I have been lucky finding things or stuffs that people ask for the last minute. I know where to go and shop at. Thank you Ross corportation-administration-store managers-employees- and security too.

I love this store very much because the Associates are always well informed. The prices are always excellent at Ross. I bought the cutest ceramic pumpkin and found a couple of bags of caramel popcorn. My purchases I really enjoy because those are what I look for and I also found a Fall sweater and gray lounge pants at great prices. If course there's the pumpkin spiced candles I look forward to every year!

I know every location has its issues with people leaving what they dont want anywhere and/or dropping it on the floor and not picking it up, but this store goes beyond that. Staff would walk around clothes that was on the floor, shoes all over the place, toys everywhere and no one seem bothered by it, not even the manager. I got what I needed and left, not coming back to this location.

They saved the day!!!! Needed SPECIAL OCCASION Plus size dress for New Year's Eve. I'm getting married The dress I ordered online was the wrong size! By the time I get it returned and all, it will be too late My Future Mother In Law till be to Ross. The selection was great!!! And the PRICES?!?!!! I ENDED UP GETTING TWO BEAUTIFUL DRESSES FOR UNDER $50

Was a pretty average experience and found the cleats I needed! If I'm looking to get a discount on cleats, I'll make sure to come here first. The cashiers were a bit bland at first but the one I went to seemed to try to open up a bit more toward the end of our conversation at the register so she salvaged the CS rating. 4 out of 5, would probably go back.

I love going to Ross. This is a bargain store . When you go there, it should never be for one particular item, because going to to Ross is a store for looking and savings, you might have a particular item in mind, but you usually come out with purchases that you did not even think you would buy. Lines take forever. There was trash and stuff everywhere. The lady working the dressing room was rude and made a big deal out if something that didn't need to be I dramatic. Accidents happen. She was rude to certain people and then nice to others. Very rude. This store is not what it used to be. Very disappointing.

I went Saturday afternoon to shop and they refused to let me use the restroom and claimed they were locked up. I advised them that they can't refuse a pregnant women the restroom. I left without buying anything of their small stock and I went next door to Petco, they had open bathrooms. Shame on you

Great place to shop. Yes there is a lot to go through, but I just got a pair of 89 dollar pants (Anne kline) for 14.99 and a pair of 48 dollar pants for 10.99...can't beat the savings. And I can deal with a lot of things for savings like that. The people who work there are very nice and welcoming.

I was there during the holiday rush to shop and the line was almost to the back of the store. I was very surprised yet pleased at how swiftly it moved and I was being checked out in no time at all. Even my brother noticed who was waiting in front for me. Thank you Ross management, excellent job.

The products are great! But the management is HORRIBLE. Very rude staff who makes it super complicated if you have a return. The employee who processed my return told me I had to go fetch her the same item I was returning so she can ring it up. When I first bout it , it came with no tags.

Some of the isles were a complete MESS, looked like a tornado ripped through there! The store was packed, on a weekday mind you, and only had one then two out of like six registers open and waited in line a good 15-20 mins, and that's bc we were almost halfway in the front of the line!

The rows are way too narrow, couldn't get past anyone without touching like sardines. The line took an hour to checkout, it was all the way to the back of the store and wrapped around. Hire more people! This is a zoo and insane! Never wanted to go clothes shopping less in my life!

Love shopping at Ross. Never know what I'll find. I like the prices on the items I do buy. Service can be better, lines tend to get long. And store can be a bit messy. But what I really like about Ross is that any given day I can always find stuff and at the right price.

I love Ross. I always find great deals on household decor and specialty bath and body products. Good deals on clothing too but I love finding rosewater on sale or hemp lotion. They smell amazing and you can't get them anywhere else for $3.

This store was so disorganized and messy. New items from truck everywhere on the floor. All the clothes is filled with items that don't go in that area. One cashier and assistant manager only on registers. Awful I gave up and walked out.

Good variety of items and well stocked. Very organized. My wife and daughter found the clothes they were looking for and I found a whole bunch of art supplies. The customer service is always good too. But the dressing rooms were closed.

Great place for me to find my size shoes at a great price especially when its difficult to find a size 12-13. They also have a great selection of men's jeans as they offer great lengths, especially when your 6'1 and need a length of 34.

It's a great place to shop. You can buy a good product for less money. I really like to shop here. The only thing I don't like is they never have enough cashiers which makes for a long wait in line. On weekends it's worse.

I love Ross but I hate the check out line. It drives me crazy when I cannot grab what I need and check out right away. I wish they had an express line for 2 items or less. That would make it much more customer friendly.

It's easy to find your way around, but the customers leave it a mess. And dont pick up after themselves and misplace items leaving the store messy looking. Also the aisle are to narrow. You have to wait behind people

Good prices and good products. Unfortunately not enough staff to handle the crowds of shoppers. We left without making a purchase due to the exceedingly long line and 30 minutes lost in line waiting for a cashier.

Although I like this Ross For Less, aisles are too small. This is a popular Ross with too many children running around. For peace when shopping, go early and get out by 11:30 am. Otherwise, they have good deals.

Shopping for three children and not much cash but they picked out what they wanted . They were happy with their selections and i was relieved with the total price amount. I had cash left in my pocket!

Fantastic! I always find something in my size. It's hard finding small and petite, but they carry clothing of all sizes and styles. The staff is helpful and I like that security is at the door.

Not organized, items looked just thrown and placed everywhere, looked like a tornado had been through mens clothing, maybe lack of staff and late evening visit but store looked ransacked

They didn't have my underwear what I like 2 wear, but the customer service was good. The cashier gave me 2 pants hangers when I bought a pack of T-shirts. Will go back 2 them real soon.

It's been so organized and clean lately! Easy to shop. Downfall is that line!! Sometimes I end up walking out because it trails all the way towards the back of the store.

I love to shop at Ross, because they have a good supply of clothes that actually fit me and their t-shirts keep their color . No fade spots on the back or under the arms.

You can’t look through ANYTHING!! Everything is everywhere, if you have a cart you can’t push it cause there is stuff all over the floors.

There's lots of quality clothes and items for interior design in your home for sale here. They've even got a few items for your car too.
