Just wanted to say that only one staff member/volunteer caused this review because the other man there was lovely ! I was buying some clothes and there are some good little gems to find and save some money as they are very affordable. But to the man who served me on the counter and made me feel severely uncomfortable for buying tops that were “skimpy” and “inappropriate” and saying these comments repetitively in front of other shoppers, just a reminder and to educate you that I am a young adult who can choose what she wears without feeling judged or made to look down on. You won’t be seeing me again but just been mindful for other young women there in the future.
To clarify a recent review, the $10.00 records are from a collection which was donated a couple of months ago - these are currently on offer at 2 for $10.00 - other records are $2.00 or $3.00 each. CD's are $1.50 per CD. Also, specific pairs of shoes are priced individually but generally shoes are $4.00 a pair. Fiction books are $1.00 each... most adult clothing $3.50 a piece or 10 items for $20.00... come and visit and see what you can find.
I Cannot find where I can reply to individual reviews. As the manager of the Warrandyte Donvale Rotary Op Shop I would like to apologise to Michelle Worthington about the condition of the stock. As you may know we are a huge store and quality control is an issue for me as the manager. I will continue to police the sorting of items and do my very best to make sure the stock is in useable condition. your feedback is appreciated.
What was once a fairly priced op shop has sadly become an overpriced waste of time. Must have been hijacked by people who think they're operating a boutique collectables store. Long time customer who used to go here mainly for vinyl records, visited yesterday to find the price for these went from $2 each to $10 each. Used Vans sneakers $50. The prices even make Salvo's look cheap now. Don't waste your time.
I used to go to this op shop on a weekly basis. Loved it plus I used to bring lots of stuff to donate in too. However, I was accused of tampering with a tag!!!!! I was absolutely horrified and have never been back. No apology whatsoever! I have never stolen anything in my life I felt totally gutted and saddened. Shame shame shame.
Well I was in the OP shop having a quick look when a voice came out saying they closed up doors at 4.l look at my watch 10 to 4 .then my mum was told they were close up she waited for me .I didn't have time to pay for short l need so back to the rack they when l out the door. So rude not coming back .speck as ex volunteer.
Best Op Shop. Love that it's open on Sundays. Great items for men. You can also bring along all your saved items for recycling. Batteries, bread tags, lids, medicine blister packs, cartridges etc. If you can't find what your looking for they probably don't make it. Worth a visit.
Located on the top of the cafes with parking at the rear. Clean op shop divided up into sensible areas. Friendly staff and they offer good value deals. Pricing is reasonable. Worth a visit for either a browse our purchase.
Hands down one of the best op shops I've ever been to. I just walked out with over $200 worth of baby and kids stuff (including vintage items) for $10. Volunteer staff are also lovely! Overall a wonderful experience
Who can't refuse fossicking through a good op shop. Don't stress....this shop is small but you cam always find a treasure here
Inaccessible for anyone using a walker or wheelchair from the road, the curbs to the entire layout of the shop.
Well set out and presented. Prices are low compared to the other Op Shop in town
Super friendly staff and always an awesome selection at real op shop prices!
Overpriced, items stained and damaged, not worth the effort of going there.
