Instructed to complete 3 x 10 year commercial leases. 1 new lease was quoted at between £2400-£3000 dependent, on a annual rental of £12,000. 2 x lease renewals were quoted at around £1500 each but then attempted to add surveyors fees of £3500 - for a building wed already been in for 5 years without issue. We closed down the 2 renewals and continued with the 1 new 10 year lease. We ended up being charged just short of £6,000 for a lease where the only addition to the HOTs that wed already agreed before instructing Bray and Bray, was security of tenure. Bray & Bray even threatened to withhold signing despite having always been paid on time and having had a £1000 retainer from day 1 with circa £1000 left to pay at completion. We needed other lawyers to complete this work, who were then also instructed on the other 2 matters - they were fantastic. After 2 years the Ombudsman ruled in our favour and gave emotional compensation of several hundred plus claw back of circa £2,000, because it was found that Bray & Bray at no point said why they were increasing charges and could provide no evidence to show why they had charged the huge extra amount. This was the worst commercial experience of my life. They are, in my opinion and I have found them to be, very rude, very manipulative, untrustworthy, sneaky (calling on the phone all the time not emailing, so no paper trail), wasting time and being vindictive.

What can I say. Initially Felicity was great and professional in regards to my case with drink driving. She listened and understood my circumstances, however after the initial interview with Felicity I was told I would be dealt with by their "most senior legal representative". What I was left with was somebody by name of Jenkins as far as I can recall. After paying £600 to their firm, the man who represented me could not even pronounce the word 'Dietetics' as this is course I am studying. He did not know anything regarding my case up until the 10 mins before my case where he had a brief conversation with me, totally incompetent, waste of time and money, I could have represented myself if I had know he was going to say nothing to defend me. Do not use this service as they do not correspond with you nor do they provide an adequate service. I had requested police report which I did not receive also I did not receive correspondence from them until the day of my trial even though they had over 10 days to complete my file. I would say that Bray and Bray are charlatans who take advantage of vulnerable people whilst supplying unreputable and unintelligent members to represent them.

Useless. What good is a solicitor that's completely unable to effectively communicate and keep their work on call backs? I contacted their Hinckley office, was told their Leicester office would need to pick it up (dispute), two weeks pass, no response. I call the Leicester office chasing, only to be told they had no record and needed to repeat chapter and verse again, I was told by Helena that Gordon would pick it up and call me back, another week passes, I call back, I'm again told I'll get a call back the following day, a week passes... I give up. On the basis of this interaction and wasting my time, I'd choose another firm that appreciates the predicament you may be in and can empathise and understand your timescales.

Mr Mcgarvey " sorry if spelling that wrong". My defense solicitor was great. Though paid for by the state, Mr Mcgarvey took it upon himself to defend my case thoroughly. He was professional yet very polite and down to earth. He gave me confidence to get through my 3 day trial that ultimately ended being 7 days i may add. Mr McGarvey was there every single day informing me of what was happening every single minuet of the trial. He would not pass me in the courts without checking I was okay and informing me about my case. Even if he was just repeating himself. Overall I will never not choose bray and bray amazing work and people skills.

Incredibly friendly and responsive service throughout despite us raising many informal questions. There was one episode towards the end where certain forms were required with signatures which we felt could have been anticipated during our many calls to the office (specifically asking whether we needed to go in to sign anything), but a workaround was found for this. Overall, comparing this to our last experience when we moved house, it was night and day. We’d use this service again for sure.

Would not recommend very bad experience the solicitor never answered the phone or got in contact even after leaving so many voicemail and sent lots of emails still didn't get a reply had to deal with them for over 5 months regarding a matter and felt like i lost so many years of my life because of stress even after them receiving funds to pay me they still didn't transfer the money to my account very unprofessional and useless would never wish to deal with them again

I had a consultation with puja morjaria. I was very disappointed with the attitude of this individual, blunt 1 word replies to my questions. Never met anyone so uninterested in a case before. I have used this firm before for conveyancing but this meeting left a sour taste. I didnt get the answers i was looking, plus had to pay for the experience, i went to another firm in the end. About 11/12 months ago.

Used this service to help my parents with selling their house, and I can not recommended Bray & Bray enough especially Sarrina Mills and Tina Rana conveyancing team.
