Zero stars need to be a thing. The new take over has not only made every single 1 of my scripts more expensive, they also charge an eftpos fee which they explain IS ONLY SMALL but when my total extra on my scripts is now $87 MORE compared to before the change, it's ridiculous. I've been a customer here for 18 years. You can be assured all 11 of my family members will be moving to another chemist. Convenience is longer a strong suite when another local chemist charges under your 'cost price'. What a terrible way to look after genuine, vulnerable and reliable customers. You might want to change this because you're certainly setting a lot of locals tongues wagging in a very negative way. Phone manner and customer service are definitely not a string point anymore either. Response to your reply. I can't figure out how to reply. I don't mean by ownership I mean by business name and the update. Since then, prices have sky rocketed when we had prices locked in. I have a few generations of family members who go to you and spend thousands a month. You seem to be the only one charging at a higher rate compared to many other locals. Our coffee group we have twice a week are all considering changing too. Not everyone is on consession or aged pension and we get taken advantage of. My daughter in law has many health issues and simply can no longer afford your prices also. Keeping your local customers business doesn't seem to be a top priority.
A little disappointed with my experience here. First of all my script was almost double the price which was a shock. Then I noticed once I was out of the pharmacy that all of my personal details had been printed on the outside of the carry bag, including my address, which is incredibly unsafe. I understand that maybe a name might be printed to make it easier for front of house staff to identify but not an address. Once I was home I decided to call and just let them know that they need to be careful in regards to customer safety, I was met with a rude women on the other end of the phone telling me this was their way of doing things and that no one else has ever complained. I kept trying to explain I was only concerned with public safety and she just argued back with me before saying “they will take it under consideration” in a condescending tone before saying bye and hanging up. Just be very careful. I would also just like to add the women who filled my script was definitely not a pharmacist, it seemed like she was front of house staff.
Absolute disappointment...lack of professionalism...no understanding of the situation and the pandemic...being isolated at home due to COVID; I had a Telehealth and a script which was sent to an Email they provided but they never received...a very rude staff disregarded my wife and refused to fill the script on the ground they had not received it...,this is despite showing the printed script...the Irony is I am an Emergency Physician and a frontline worker....I received a very obstructive behaviour from the Pharmacist too...I think when it comes to situational alertness and professionalism and flexibility the Wellington Village pharmacy have laid themselves down...there is a lot of room to improvement.... PS: There wasn't an option for No star so I had to choose 1..
I want to give 0-star. This pharmacy is selling much higher price for the exact same products (prescription medical not cosmetic), cost $21.01 the exact same product at TerryWhite (i.e its former shop) Pharmacy cost $10.55. The staff told I didn't ask for PRIVATE price that's why the default price i.e. medicare price is higher I paid. I said Chemist Warehouse or others never ever ask me which price you want, and none wants to pay more for the same product of course. Finally, they gave a refund for the difference, and said Chemist Warehouse can sell the better price because they are able to cost down. This is 2nd time same happen to me, I will never walk in to this shop anymore.
Pharmacists are great but the front of house customer service standard has significantly dropped. Last few visits I’ve had to engage staff and they all had an attitude and seemed to not care about your enquire at all. At one point when then staff didn’t know what I was asking for and directed me to the wrong product which would’ve been harmful, I asked her to check with pharmacist. Thank goodness I trusted my gut and pushed to ask. Staff here used to be amazing so I’m not sure what’s happened but the drop in standards is noticeable and significant. Will be going elsewhere now even though this is my local.
After an absolute diabolical visit to Chemist Warehouse nearby, coming here was a complete change. Not only was I able to get a car park and not be trapped in my car for 15 minutes, I could actually find a staff member to assist me instead of aimlessly walking the isles to no assistance and the pharmacist actually took the time to brief me about my medication instead of being a human vending machine. I will ONLY be coming here moving forward as this is how your experience should be instead of what I had to experience elsewhere today!!!
The staff here are always very friendly and polite. Always able to provide guidance and feedback where necessary. Today for my daughter's birthday, the lovely assistant made my daughter's day, by providing her with a little gift from the team; as she was a little sad she was unable to celebrate her 5th birthday with her friends in person. It lifted her spirits greatly, so thank you.. always lovely service recieved here.
Terrible. The chemist refused to sell me even low strength paracetamol plus codeine, apparently based on my appearance or something because I didn't do anything to cause concern. No other chemist I go to has done this. The chemist responsible should be fired as she's probably doing this to other people
Had been a regular hear. Embarrassing pharmacist who speaks loudly that your prescription is ready and what the medication is. When asking to complain to the great female staff, sorry he's the owner, he's like that when his upset. Go elsewhere if you wants scripts, if you don't want scripts, it's good.
I received such wonderful advice and service from Jane that I had to jump online and praise this pharmacy. Naturally it might be a bit more expensive that tje big pharmacy chains, but its service goes a very long way. I would definitely go back for the staff and service.
I’ve gone Back 2 my Roots Amcal - the personnel service is amazing compared 2 Chemist WareHouse. Shirley from Rowville Vic is so endearing and always takes so much time with me Bipolar Disability Support and gets basically gets me through ruff times
Said it was open until 6PM on a Saturday. I drove all the way here and arrived at 5:30PM but it was closed. I could see the staff still in there but they waved me away. Please don’t put incorrect opening hours, it’s highly inconvenient.
Absolutely terrible answering phone call. I have trying to contact the pharmacy for a particular prescription medication availability before visiting the pharmacy. I tried 5 times and no answer. Why do they have a phone number to call?
Rude customer service staff. I was just hung up on by a staff member (I think Priya was her name). Sorry my potential customage was an inconvenience; you don’t have to worry about it bothering you again.
Very slow customer service & prices are much higher than chemist warehouse on prescription medication. Normally pay $36 at Chemist warehouse & was $59 for my diabetes medication. Won’t be back
Friendly, competent staff and quick service. Longest I've had to wait for a prescription is 15 minutes and they always explain any issue clearly. 10/10 would recommend
This pharmacy s the most expensive I have ever been to a product here (medical not cosmetic) cost $32.55 the exact same product at Stud Park Pharmacy cost $6.10
Best pharmacy, I moved further away and still travel here as the advice, service and friendly team are wonderful. Wouldn’t choose another chemist.
The staff display great knowledge and attention to detail. The pharmacists are always very pleasant. Always leave this chemist feeling better.
Great customer service. The lady pharmacist and the Asian girl was really helpful and detailed about everything. Highly recommended …
Paid more than double the price for a script than other pharmacies nearby generic too .. won't be going back there..
I love the place it has ample parking great service with awesome frendly staff willing to help at all times...
Friendly knowledgeable staff always give great service. Chemists and girls are great! Won’t go anywhere else.
Been going there awhile, great pharmacist, some of female assistants can be abrupt and almost RUDE...
Everyone here at amcal chemist Wellington village is absolutely fantastic. Specially Natalie.
received excellent advice from the pharmacist and one of the best pharmacies I have been to
Very rude. Asked for help from the pharmacist and she was not helpful at all.
Very overpriced for basic medication. Eg Ventolin. Wont be seeing me again.
Very friendly staff. Conveniently located next to the medical centre.
Very helpful staff and wait times for prescription is below 10 mins
