This was my first renovation, and I decided to roll the dice and do everything with this company - outcome wonderful. Process - a little stressful. There were some bumps along the way, but the owner did his best to fix every challenge. The one thing that I could say could use improvement is regarding the sales. The sales man offered many thing, which were not all documented on the contract; and the contractor sticks to the contract. He also did not disclose that I would need to hire my own plumber and electrician. I assumed if they’re taking out the outlets, they’d put them back, as with the plumbing / if your putting in a new sink, you’ll look after the plumbing - not the case, and as a first time renovator this came as an unwelcome shock. However, despite some discrepancies the owner provided work that was verbally promised to me but not documented on the contract, and he fixed things that he was not obligated to, so he did show good faith. Sometimes communication with the owner was challenging, but in the end I was happy and he was grateful for the business. My entire house was painted beautifully, including ceilings and crown moulding. And the cabinetry final product was outstanding. Overall, yes I would recommend this company. My only advice is to make sure your salesman writes everything he promises down on the paper contract - it will save everyone headaches. Now that the project is done I am extremely happy. I have faith that if I need the company to attend to anything they will. Excellent workmanship!

If you want an incomplete job, hire these guys. I hired them to repaint my kitchen cabinets and replace a cabinet with glass doors. They completed the cabinet work but left the glass door work when COVID happened back in March. Since then, I have followed up with the owner Sam many times over the past several months to have them complete the job. Initially, I could understand that it was difficult to find people to get the job complete because of COVID but now the economy is opening up and Sam always has an entirely new excuse for not being able to complete the work. To compound this, my relatives asked them for a quote to do some kitchen work and all of a sudden Sam and the company were very aggressively following up to try to get the new job and had all the capacity in the world. When it came to my incomplete job though, there aren't any workers or suppliers and neither did anyone bother following up with me. 1 out of 5 for poor customer service and lack of professionalism. UPDATE: Despite what is written in the reply, the glass door was always part of the contract and I still haven't heard back from Royal Home Painters. This is very unfortunate as I was quite happy with the paint job that has been done for the cabinets but without the glass door work, my kitchen has been incomplete for the past several months.

Incomplete job done. We hired them for smoothing the popcorn ceiling of our condo. For this they removed the smoke detectors and ceiling lights. After the job was done, they did not bother putting it back. The lights were dangling from thie wires which is a potential safety hazard if they fall on the people living there and also a fire hazard with all open circuitry. And they asked to be paid more if we want the wires to be put back by an electrician. We had not signed up for this. When we give you a task we want everything to be put back they way you started. And you should have brought in the proper resources like electricians to give the customers a completed task. If we were told this before we gave them the work, we could have gone for another Contractor. We are still waiting to hear back from them after raising this complaint.

We hired Royal Home Painters to paint the windows, front door and the stucco sill below the windows. The painters, Gerard and his assistant put a lot of effort into making sure the windows would look great. They spent a lot of time removing any rotten wood in the window trim and replacing with wood filler. When they realized that the paint colour we picked out for the stucco was not a good match, they immediately stopped painting. They were able to remove some of the old caulking that was previously painted to provide a color match sample. The new paint perfectly matched the stucco. They also filled in cracks around the windows with caulking and repainted on top of the caulking. The stucco looks like new. We were very happy with the paint job and would recommend them to everyone.

I consider myself very lucky to come across with this company for our painting and Renovation projects. Although there are many choices when you start searching, but it's not that easy to get the results that you expect by just calling one of the ads that you find. I got Royal Home Painters to paint our apartment this past summer. They painted it ..but the job was not great. First, it was rushed. They completed the 2 coats in ONE day..when they were supposed to do it over 2 days. Second, the colour they recommended(silver satin) was a bad choice. Anytime any piece of furniture bumps into the wall you can see a mark there afterwards. Lastly, the holes in our walls that they covered were not smoothed over well. You can still see a bump there. For $2800 it was a rip off. I understand it was a hot summer day and being in a hot apartment doesn't help...but a job is a job.Would not recommend and will not be using again.

This job was the exterior painting af a large stucco home. The house was covered on almost all sides with vines which needed to be removed before painting could begin Royal Homes ensured that this was done carefully without damaging the stucco. Afterwards they were on thee job, except for rain delays until it was completed. The job was done with care and attention and the result was outstanding. All of the neighbours who dropped by to see it were astounded at the transformation and wanted to know who was doping the job. Very well done. Royal Home Painters has done almost a full renovation in our newly bought house. They removed popcorn from ceiling and made the ceiling smooth and flat, painted the whole house, stained the entrance door, and painted the kitchen cabinets. On completion the product looked superb but there were a number of small issues that we noticed. Professional results...so many others told me it was too much work to paint my kitchen cabinets because of the amount of custom trim I have but these guys took on the job without hesitation and are good. Mark is meticulous and his results show it. Everyone from Sam to Mark to the installers were fantastic.
