Thanks to the great experience my nephew, and other family members, had when dealing with the RachelHammer.com Real Estate team, we decided we just had to approach them to sell our home of 34 years and to help us find a new one. Rachel's team helped us sell our Country Place home in May, setting a record for an original house in the neighbourhood, AMAZING!!! We spent 23 wonderful years there, but it was time to downsize. We have nothing but great things to say about Rachel's team. The process started back in January with Christina (Chris) representing us. Chris and the team kept us informed of everything they were doing or planning to do right up to the listing on May 12. Julie and Abby were super helpful in getting all of the paperwork ready to take the listing live. The photos & video that the team put together brought us to tears. So many memories, we'll definitely miss our home and so will all our family and friends. Rachel's team went above and beyond for us. We left for a European vacation the same day that the house hit the market. Even with us being 7 hours ahead, Chris did a great job of keeping us up to date on everything that was happening. The only damage was a few shingles were missing, what a relief. That little extra care helped us enjoy the rest of our vacation - a huge thank you to Rachel and Chris. When it came time to sell the house, I could not decide which agent to choose given the vast selection available. I asked a few friends for their opinions, and they all suggested Rachel, as she is best one available. I contacted Rachel and we set a time for the following day. She arrived promptly and fully prepared. Her professional and gentle demeanour both impressed and reassured me that I had chosen the best possible agent. Rachel’s amazing colleague, Dana, readily stepped in to assist me with this step. We spent countless hours reviewing homes, then visiting those chosen favourites, to determine the best possible fit. I wanted to ensure that my new home would fit me, my budget, but still be within my daughter’s school district. Dana’s never-ending patience, gentle mannerisms, and keen focus helped me to choose that new home. We signed the deal and the rest is history. In sum, I am extremely impressed with the help that I received from both Rachel and Dana. They are, by far, the best team of agents whom I have ever met. I cannot thank them enough!

From the moment we called the Rachel Hammer team we were welcomed with open arms. After having two past horrible experiences with realtors my husband and I were very nervous. We were making a big move from Toronto to Ottawa and knew we needed a great realtor to help us with that transition. We definitely got that and more! Finding and buying a house with a large lot in the city of Ottawa, in the great bullish market of 2021, seems like a crazy idea. And we were coming from Montreal, which added another layer of difficulty to an already “Mission: Impossible” task (for the simple reason that visiting a house in Ottawa required a lot of planning and synchronizing with my wife and kids, not to mention four hours of route). Then I’ve started working with Dana Palombo and guided by her knowledge and huge patience (not to mention her incredible optimism – “I know your house is out there”), we finally found our perfect home (after a few months of hard work, a lot of visits and a few refused offers, of course). This is our second house. After I’ve bought the first one, I was thinking that a real estate agent was somebody who will try to push you to make the deal as fast as possible, cash the check and be gone. We interviewed three different realtors before choosing Rachel and her team. What attracted us to Rachel initially was her energy, enthusiasm and obvious passion and love of her profession. This review is long over due, but I can’t compliment Krista enough. We were on the market to buy a home 3 months before our wedding and had a certain timeframe we wanted to buy by. My partner and I also work shift work and Krista was very accommodating to our work schedules- making sure we had multiple showings in the same area in one evening to maximize our time, etc. She was very professional and always kept in mind our ‘must haves’ during our viewings.
