I had the pleasure of enrolling my child in the summer camp at Rundle College in Calgary, and I must say that the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the camp was meticulously organized and focused on creating a fantastic experience for every child. One of the standout features of the camp was the warm and welcoming staff. Each morning, we were greeted by friendly faces who genuinely cared about the children's well-being and happiness. This attention to detail made dropping off my child each day a breeze, knowing that they were in capable and caring hands. The level of engagement and fun that my child experienced during the camp was truly remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that each day was filled with exciting activities that catered to the children's interests and passions. It's evident that the team at Rundle College is committed to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for every camper. What truly stood out for me was the exceptional memory and personalized attention provided by the school's teachers. On the first meet, they were able to recognize both me and my child, which instantly made us feel like valued members of the Rundle College community. This level of familiarity and attentiveness translated into quick responses to any needs or concerns, showcasing their dedication to ensuring a positive experience for both parents and children. Overall, my child and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Rundle College summer camp. The impeccable organization, friendly staff, engaging activities, and outstanding teacher-student interactions made it a truly exceptional experience. We're already looking forward to returning next year and creating more wonderful memories at Rundle College.
Edited to clarify as I feel owner's response to my review is misleading. Owner did reach out on October 16th, but to tell me that under no circumstances were they going to allow me to use my son's deposit towards my daughter's dues. Parents: I just really urge you to think carefully before submitting those deposits. It's a lot of money, and you cannot under any circumstance change your mind. So just be sure this is what you want. In my case, my daughter chooses to continue at Rundle only because of friends, and I don't want to uproot that. But for my son's case, he's way happier in the public school system. Both kids are honour roll, straight A students. One of my son's teachers at Rundle said to him, "It's a loss to Rundle you're leaving". ---- Disappointed. Their academics is mediocre. Doesn't work for all kids. I had to change school for my oldest at grade 11. The responsiveness when he asked for help repeatedly (after school, during school, anything) was to ignore his requests. He's so much happier in his new school, friendlier staff (overly willing to help!), and kids are great. My mistake- I paid his deposit for the following academic year. (in MARCH!) I still had my youngest continuing to attend though. I've asked for a transfer of my oldest child's deposit to the tuition for my youngest, and we're in October, and the finance department won't respond. My guess is, they're keeping the money and don't really care.
Rundle Music School The Rundle Music School program has been amazing for our two young children. They are both in voice and piano and we have seen amazing progress in both. More importantly, the love of music is being introduced and reinforced. The two recitals our children have been a part of have helped build confidence while being fun and not daunting. Both of our children want to continue on in the program and are looking forward to starting group lessons in the fall. Having lessons right on campus is amazing for parents with children in the school as they can attend lessons from aftercare, in a safe environment they already know. The convenience and ease of scheduling have also been wonderful. Thank you, Mrs. Heather, for a wonderful experience!
Oh, my grandchildren have gone to the school. This is an excellent school that provides discipline, old-fashioned, teaching techniques, combined with extracurricular activities that include choir band, jazz band, basketball, volleyball, golf badminton, track and field. My grandkids did all of these things, and they all graduated to excellent universities. I have one granddaughter left and she’s also doing very well. Whoever’s complaining about the school, just has nothing better to do. The class sizes are 14 per class. How do you possibly beat that? All of the friends that left the school early or did not go to high school Randall College, comparatively did much worse in university and in university placement. It’s worth the money.
Rundle is an excellent school for many reasons. Small class sizes, good communication with teachers, excellent clubs and sports teams. My daughter loves it. My only concern is a lack of spots in some honours courses compared to other schools, but a 100% University placement in top schools speaks for itself. It is disappointing, however, when your child has a 91% average in Math and can't get into the Math honours class. They should use more objective ways to assess students at times. But overall a quality school.
The junior high principal, Ms. Claire Allen, is incredibly rude and condescending to students for no reason. What is her problem anyways? I understand that kids need to be disciplined but that doesn't mean you get to be disrespectful. All I'm saying is, it wouldn't hurt to be kind and empathetic to students. Being a student is hard enough; there's no need to make life harder for them by being insolent.
Very good school. Excellent facilities and teachers. The teachers in particular take time to teach your child. If they are doing poorly, they will stay before or after classes to help. Offer a wide variety of art sport, and afterschool activities. Excellent traditional school which will get your kid into university no problem.
I love the attention to respect and caring as well as the wonderful dress code. The staff is very professional and can teach with a small class load compared to many other schools. Students achieve goals and success on a daily basis. …
