One of our favorite things to do on weekends is trying out different bakeries in Dublin with my boyfriend. He's a baker, and we both come from Argentina, where bakeries are famous for their great quality – you can find at least three on every block. However, for the first time, I found something even better than Argentinean bakeries: Russell's Lemon Curd. The Lemon Curd at Russell's is like a perfect mix of a lemon pie and a croissant. There isn't a single thing that could be improved. The lemon curd and meringue were just right – not too sour or too sweet, and the texture was perfect. When you combine these flavors with the flaky dough, you have to taste it to believe how good it is. In second place, we loved the Pain Suisse with chocolate. The balance between the dough and the chocolate cream inside was just right. You could taste both flavors without one overpowering the other. The cappuccino was amazing, served at the perfect temperature, and with a lovely smoothness to the milk. Russell's has definitely become our favorite bakery.

Arrived around 10:30ish some people ahead of me, can maybe fit 2/3 people inside the doorway at the till it’s quaint. Smell of fresh baked goods is amazing makes you want to purchase everything inside :). But 3.40€ for a coffee with no options for sugar or a stirrers or etc if needed be, just handed a lid and onto next customer. In this visit I ordered a Cesar focaccia sandwich and at a cost of 8€ I was expecting it to be really nice but truth is it was standard. I got the tiktok famous chocolate crossaint “as was recommended by friends and looks like they made the chocolate filling inside a lot smaller then what was advertised online and this was my third visit to bakery in the course of 2 weeks- so this wasn’t a once off. Coffee & sandwich and chocolate croissant came to 19€. Very expensive for what they are offering but I recommend everyone to try the place themselves sold 4/5

Yet another artisanal bakery in North Dublin. I am really happy to see this culture is developing! The quality of their food is amazing, in addition to breads and croissants and alike you can expect a few kinds of sandwiches (again, that's crazy how tasty these are!). But highlight of the place is that you can purchase here packaged flours they are using. So if you have that urge for home-baking, you know where to go. Coffee here is decent and you can buy beans here as well. There is no sitting inside, but you have covered seats outside.

Amazing almond croissant — best I’ve ever tried in my life and normally I’m not even a fan of croissants (guess I was traumatized by so many bad ones) so go there just for that! Their bread is wonderful too. Perfect place for breakfast if you are staying at the next door Croke Park hotel….also what I discovered with bakeries is that if you bring your own cup (or the one from another coffee shop) not only do you feel good about saving the planet but you also get a discount on your coffee ;)

Simply the best almond croissant in Ireland! Although this little gem of a bakery is found at one of the most improbable places (in a slightly run down neighborhood next to a car parts dealer close to the stadium) the quality of their products is from another level, and is well worth a longer drive. Finest artesian breads and pastries that need not shy a comparison with cafes at the best locations in Paris. Keep on the great work!

Lovely stuff and food, one the best local bakery's in Ireland by far. Everything's is high quality with really good prices and the stuff is amazing, they make my day better everytime I interact with them ! They also make the best fredo espresso in Dublin if not in Ireland. You should give it a try to feel the authentic greek experience .

Great bakery- lovely selection of fresh breads and excellent pastries. The Suisse and the ham and cheese croissants are a firm favourite! Serves Imbibe coffee really really well, and love the early opening hours when so few places nearby are open. Lovely lovely staff too. Often busy, so factor in a wait. Now has a new little outdoor seating area too.

Basically Bread41 without the queue and with much more options also later in the day. Tasty, lots of sweet and savoury options for everyone, prices the same as anywhere else. Definitely worth a trip (and not just a quick stop when in the area).

Tried the croissant and pain au raisin - both delicious. Still warm when we got home. I also saw they had brioches, pain au chocolate, mandolins, and almond croissants. There are no seats here but they were happy to fill reusable cups from home for takeaway. Coffee was good. Two pastries and flat white for 9euro. Great opening hours

This place is a 10 out of 10. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff is very attentive and friendly. You can tell they want to do things right. If you feel like trying a croissant or a pain au chocolat as if you were in Paris, come here!. Thank you so much for bringing such a great boulangerie to the neighborhood!

This is by far one of the best bakery’s I have been in to. The crew is absolutely lovely. No matter what is in there, is fluffy, crunchy, absolutely filled with good stuff and delicious. Just bought a bag of they’re coffee beans, cause obviously, it’s tasty as well!

I live above a bakery and I really missed such an opening here... I can have a warm croissant with coffee in the morning, just run out in my slippers!!! I am very happy for that. Really good coffee, really good pastries and the best bread in town! The staff is very friendly. I really recommend this place. …

Russell Street Bakery has just opened right next to Croke Park. They sell sourdough bread, brioche loaves, classic French pastries, focaccia, coffee and some other products. Everything is freshly baked and every pastry we tried was amazing. The Pain Suisse is a must. Finally real bread in the neighbourhood!

  • Pauly Boy

Really friendly staff and delicious pastries and coffee - would highly recommend it. And great to see an independent coffee shop / bakery do so well in this area. Charging for alt. milk is one of my old gripes and would be great if they had a morning coffee and pastry deal and compostable cups!

  • Ruth O'Brien

Gorgeous little bakery. A good range of sourdough loaves and pastries. All i have tasted are delicious and reasonably priced. Their focaccia is amazing too! They also make sandwiches which are mouth watering, looking forward to trying them soon. Coffees and other drinks available too.

  • Trish Loughman

Was at a function this morning and was so impressed by the pastries, I had to ask where they were from. Russell Street bakery. I was very pleased to hear they are local. Lovely selection of pastries. The savoury pastries were really delicious. I wish them the very best of luck.

  • Audrey Price

Holy smokes, this bakery is the real deal. I feel like I can confidently say that everything is incredible, because I returned here many times across a few days and tried pretty much all of it. Super friendly staff, and great coffee too. I absolutely couldn’t fault it

  • Andy O'Brien

One of the nicest bakeries I’ve been to in a long time. The morning pastries - specifically the croissants and danish pasties are delicious as are the fresh breads. Excellent coffees and even nicer staff. It’s great to have such an amazing bakery in the area.

  • Ivy Zheng

Finally today we got to drive a long way to this bakery and unsurprisingly a lot of stuff were sold out around 2:30pm, but I got to get last piece of brioche loaf. Simply amazing!! I will make sure to get up early next time to get more pastries …

  • Liz Tyrell

We just dropped in for a coffee and a pastry.I had an almond Crossiant. It was delicious. The centre was filled with a lovely almond centre. My son had a Cinnamon Bun. We had both a cappuccino. It was very good. Be back again to try some more!

  • Anna-Lena Häusl

A delicious small bakery. The prices were a bit higher (2-4€/item), but the quality and the taste were insanely good. I can recommend the pain au chocolat, the almond croissant and the hot chocolate which tasted a bit like dark chocolate.

  • Terence Mc Cartan

Excellent bread. It was very convenient living on the north side. Do you have any plans to come to the south side as we are currently driving up every few weeks solely for good bread !

Thought was a mirage when I passed it by. Buns are buttery, flaky and crunchy. So tasty. Will be interesting if opens on gamedays to see hurling fans scoffing down their wares. Maybe a sausage roll for the gaa fans would be a top seller?

  • dawn walsh

This is the loveliest bakery and has quickly become the go to for me for a treat! The range and quality of pastries, bread and coffees is super. The staff are also so friendly and helpful, Greta always has a smile for all her customers!

  • gessica snichelotto

Fantastic experience, both cappuccino and all pastries were great. Employees very friendly, top quality. It is really a pity to not have enough space for a few tables and chairs to enjoy the experience also not in take away service

Incredible bakery. I ate the almond croissant and was stupefied by how good it was. The croissant made me temporarily dumber. My jaw slackened, unable to respond to the world outside my croissant. Would recommend.

  • Alain Lostis

As a frenchman, I confirm that the croissant , pain au chocolat, organic bread would be at the very top of the range in France. As a non-Italian I cannot rate their café Excellent job. Please Continue. …
