I took the time in ready some comments made on the store and I regret to say that l didn't receive the same level of service. This could boil down to the Sale's person who help me more, than the actual store. Not wanting to name and shame the sales person located at the far right when facing the counter. Looking at my google time line. I visited the store on the 29th of May wanting to buy parts. I was told that some of the parts which I required came in two different sizes (Brakepads & Discs). Not being there with the Nissan Navara 2.5 I left without the brakes. One of the parts that was fitted was defective and I returned on 1 June to the same sales person with the Nissan parked outside. After a long unpleasant experience he called his supplier and he informed that he will call me when the part arrived. After this I asked about the brakes and to make another long story long short he needs it removed to make sure it is the correct size. I returned to the store on the 23 of June as I never received a call. Approaching the sales person next to the first one that I originally dealt with told me to wait for him. I stood at his counter for a while and when he returned to his desk, he asked me i a impolite way if I was waiting for him, instead asking how can I help/assist you as he didn't recognize me at firts. I gave him the slip and he said that my part has not arrived. Me going on a school holiday trip in July asked him to reimburse me the money to get another part. In which he did not respond, but instead phoned the supplier and asked them to call me directly to arrange deilivery of the part. I have not yet received a call and I am sitting without a part aswell as the money used to buy it. Very poor service and through it all I kept calm. With great regret Eugene Oliver

My grandfather has been fixing cars for years. I am just a student, so he recommended an affordable shop to get a few parts for my car. The product was poor quality. It broke when we installed it the first day. Went back to show them the plastic was thin in one side and thick on the other, obviously a manufacturing issue, which happens granted (but for something that should be heat resistant, i should have gotten a refund or a new product straight off the bat) They did not offer to send it back to the manufacturer. Had to buy a new part somewhere else. Very disappointing Midas. Update: Customer service came in contact with me to change my review. I sent proof of payment (my bankstatement) but it was not a receipt, therefore they will not assist because the shops have different owners. (I do not see how that can be a problem, everything is tracked on a system. They could easily have found the date and time of my purchase.) I am not impressed. The service and quality has declined according to my grandfather (midas has lost a faithful customer and what could have been a new customer). Poor quality products. Poor customer service. Do not waste your time or money.

Went to exchange a lightbulb I purchased from Bellville at this branch as it was on my route. The man helping me looked at my slip and then rudely said I’m at the wrong branch I must go to Bellville. I said I am a aware that I purchased it in Bellville but just wanted to exchange it. And then he said they not the same… and then completely dismissed me and moved on to doing something else. He was very dismissive, rude and abrupt. I absolutely hate it when salesman in a car parts store treat females like they know nothing. He firstly assumed I hadn’t purchased the item. And then didn’t offer a proper explanation as to why I can’t do the exchange. Just pathetic service experience. The policy should have been explained in a proper manner as no other franchise works like this! I was really confused so went to the cashier and asked her why I could do an exchange as both stores are a Midas and I’ve never experienced this before. She just said they not connected to the other Midas stores. Will never go back there just based one this one salesman

Pathetic Service. We bought the incorrect part and asked the salesman and the cashier if its the incorrect part can we return it, they guy and cashier said yes as long as its in the original condition and not used .Not even 4 hours later we went back to return the item and they refused to take it back saying its their policy, so I asked the manager to check the cameras to see for himself that we did ask the sales person and cashier of we can return the unit if it is the incorrect part, and he refused to check it, even he even had a bit of an attitude and said why must he check a whole days footage . I will honestly not leave this matter here and I will take it further

The store is not that big, but all the usual stock can be found here. I expect that this is more of a parts store not like the usual Midas that carry a large variety of odds and ends on the trading floor. There's parking, but not alot, I expect on busy days this could be a draw back. All in all a pleasant experience. I got exactly what I was looking for, objective achieved.

Great service. Went in on Saturday to order shocks for my car's boot. Midas did not have the item in stock but the Sales Person (Cameron) advised they can order the part and it should arrive Monday morning. I paid for the part and supplied my contact details. I was contacted early on Monday morning advising me that the part has arrived. When I arrived at the store there was a queue but Cameron quickly recognized me, pulled me out of line and helped me be on my way. Great service, will be back for any purchases required in the future. Thanks for the assistance, keep up the good work guys...!

Manager and some staff have attitude issues,young inexperienced manager who thinks he knows it all with a chip on his shoulder with no people/customer/product skills, most parts inferior which don't last long,8 out of 10 times incorrectly supplied,gave me attitude about my mask not covering my entire nose till under my eyes and cashier refused to swipe my card to finalise my purchase so I walked out after they told me I can go elsewhere , which I did and found the same part for a third of the price at masterparts, they just lost a 20yr long customer.

Stopped there to buy an indicator bulb for my car. Was about to take the old one out when a sales person approached me and took over. He took the old bulb out to sample, got a new one from inside and fitted it. I only had to pay for the bulb. Now I am a technician so did not really need him to do it for me, but it was a very nice gesture and is much appreciated. Thank you, if this is how you treat a customer I will gladly become one for life. Well done!!

Manager seemed helpful,but service at counter was non existing! Stood for about ten minutes waiting to be helped,salesmen looked me straight in the eye and ignored me,I counted three salesmen and all three just flat ignored me,did not even bother to acknowledge my presence.Do yourselves a favour and go to any other Midas,the one down the road in Voortrekker Rd was helpful and informative, Rusty Bourne will never see another cent from me.

Hi, I just moved to Cape Town a month ago from Durban. I received the best service today from a guy called Mitch. Wow, he was amazing. He fitted my car seat covers, seat belt protectors, steering wheel cover, mats. I love ❤️ Midas. Thanks Mitch for all your kindness and helping me. I truly appreciate it. You are an asset to Midas. Had my new wipers fitted today, I and out of the store in under 10minutes. Such friendly staff that really do enjoy providing a service. The ONLY Midas ill visit from now on!! Not much parking available infront of the store but I think that's because customers are serviced in under 10min so no need to ample parking space, but you can always park across the road by the petrol station.

For many years now I have bought auto parts at Rusty Bourn Midas for I have found their prices to always be competitive. Today though, I want to give special credit to the managers for their willingness to hear me out and accommodate me, even after 2 years, by replacing an unopened part, which was the wrong part for my vehicle. This is truly putting into practice: "customers first".

Came to my house to assist me and do diagnostics on my car. My car was towed by Andre fixed and brought back to me. This was absolutely awesome service. 99% of the time, the service is great!! The 1% is because everyone is human, and nobody is perfect (can't pretend anyone is!). Always able to find the exactly correct parts and good friendly service, good variety of products, everything I have needed for my car - parts, and accessories, inside and outside!

Decent services overall. Their are good assistants and some that want to sell you the most expensive item on their shelf without a question of the buyers budget. Dear RB Midas, on Friday 22nd I pulled into the parking area and popped my bonnet to extract a blown headlight bulb. Before I could even approach the bulb, Nathan at Aylesbury branch removed it, fetched a replacement and popped it back into the socket. Great service thanks and a shout out to Nathan.

**Edit*** Tried opening a COD account for my business. Emailed, called, whatsapped and was there in person. After numerous request just to send the COD papers they still did not send it after months of begging even though they said they will send it. Clearly this branch does not need more business.

Was made to take a wiperblade that was different and when i returned to tell the salesman it's does not fit he got upset and said i have to cut the side of the and that is how he do it with all the vehicles. Sorry i can't buy a new product and damage it 5 seconds later because salesman told me so.

Manager is very pushy he upset my granddaughter refused to refund the money she paid for car seat covers until I went there and he insisted that they would fit so he tried to fit them only to find out that they dont fit as we had told him not even an apology when he eventually refunded her money

Noy helpfull at all. I was standing and waiting to be helped, it seemed like if they do not make eye contact yhey do not have to help. And the help was so uninspiring... they did not know there parts so just kept saying I must bring in the old parts because they do not know. Very dissapointing.

According to ACD Bellville, This Midas quoted and supplied incorrect clutch which took my quote from R2100 to R6000. Yep triple the amount and they said they supplied the vin number to them. No accountability from there side or ACD Bellville Garage, just sorry. Bad customer service.
