I have just had my flat painted throughout by Peter from S.I. Painting and Decorating and I am delighted with the result. Peter was a pleasure to deal with throughout. He was polite and considerate at all times and gave me daily updates on how the job was going. He was very hard-working and put in some long hours to get the job done within the time-scale I needed. My flat was left clean and tidy, and he even put all my furniture back in place when the job was complete. He clearly takes pride in doing his work to a very high standard. After my initial enquiry Peter was quick to respond and give a fairly priced quote. He was also flexible about suggesting times/dates that suited my work schedule. It was important for me to have a skilled and thorough decorator to hang my wallpaper and I can safely say Peter is exactly that. He was on time, friendly and finished the job much sooner than I had expected! After completing the wall he made sure that I was absolutely happy with his work and that the area was left clean/mess free. Overall myself and my wife felt the service was overpriced and a low standard of work. We was quoted £1000 for a kitchen bathroom and small hallway. The wrong paint was used in the bathroom and stains the wall. You can also see the old paint coming through in various places. We was quoted for silicone around the bath and he’s used decorating caulk. That’s now peeling off. The kitchen was okay however some cutting in was missed. Unfortunately for us we thought a professional company would deliver a professional job. However I wished I done it myself as now I will have to.

Engaged S.I. Painting & Decorating for redecoration of a 2 bedroom rental flat in East London. The former paintwork was in a considerable state of disrepair with a number of issues. Peter and his team were able to fully redecorate the property within under a week, starting early and working late each day, such that it now looks "like new." Peter was also always available via phone if needed. Only comment was that it would have useful to have assistance with some related jobs (such as resealing windows, regrouting tiles) as this had to be progressed separately.

I chose Peter because he was extremely communicative and helpful when I was looking for someone to help me decorate my flat, and I found that this continued throughout the work. Peter did a fantastic job on several interior rooms and exterior flooring, he talked us through the job and agreed to change the scope of work halfway through. S.I. Decorators did a fantastic job painting three rooms in my flat — and they even finished a day early. I received estimates from a few different companies before the project began, but S.I. was the most professional and the most reasonably-priced, so that’s why I ultimately chose them. They did not disappoint. The team worked hard, tidied up and moved furniture around at the end of each day to make the spaces more comfortable while the work was underway. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

We contacted S I Painting & Decorating to paint 3 rooms and the hallway in our flat and are very happy with their service. Pete was excellent from the word go. We had a helpful conversation about the work and pricing before he arrived, and he helpfully checked in the day before to make sure I was all set for the following day. He arrived promptly and everything was up from there. The walls are painted beautifully and he even, when the walls were drying, helped me with some bits and bobs in the house! The house was cleaned up perfectly once he finished. Pete is now coming back to do other rooms. Would highly recommend!

Peter and his team did a decent job painting our exterior windows, front door and a bedroom (together with a wallpapered feature wall). He was on time and reliable and provided an efficient service at a reasonable price. Red flag!!I asked him to do my wallpaper about 1 and half years ago. He didn’t do the job properly, he left distance between wallpapers. And now my wallpaper is falling off. I’ve been overcharged by him as well. Very expensive for what he did!He was forcing me to post a feedback for him after he finished his work.

Needed bathroom ceilings stripped and repainted, as well as a few sections of wall that had sustained water/moisture damage. This was all done to a good standard plus he really helped me out by offering to remove an old shower screen I was getting replaced. Friendly, all done to agreed times and costs.
