Dreadful customer service. I bought two pair of the same style shoes in different colour's, when I wore one pair the insole was obviously too small for the shoe and had a big gap at the toe area. I returned to the shop and spoke to a young lady called MICHELLE. I explained the problem and asked her twice if she could see the gap at the front of the shoe, she didn't answer me I asked twice! I asked her if she had heard my question, she didn't reply. She then without speaking at all proceeded to start a refund, I asked if I could have another pair of the same shoe, again without speaking she disappeared into the back of the store, when she eventually returned she just said we haven't got them. Michelle then completed a refund. I asked if they would be getting more of this style of shoe in, without looking up she just said 'probably' and that was the end of my encounter with Michelle. Her customer service skills are NIL

I’m sorry, but since when is it a “favour” exchanging a pair of brand new shoes for a different size went to exchange BRAND NEW NEVER WORN trainers for a size smaller and got told by staff they were doing us a favour for exchanging since it was bought at a different sketchers store. The attitude of these women was uncanny. Please choose your staff wisely and try train them to be more helpful to ‘serve’ the customers if they’re in a customer service job. Like seriously, appalled! Put me off big time!! So sorry for asking for such a huge FAVOUR mate. If doing your job that you get paid for seems to you like you’re doing people favours maybe you’re in the wrong field. And a smile on your face once in a while won’t kill you :)

I went in to this store in L1 today at 5pm. It wasn't that busy with 2 staff there. I approached the male member of staff who was putting some shoes away. I asked him if he was free as I wanted to try on a particular pair of shoes. The ones I had were my size but felt to big. As I was explaining he just kept saying what size do you want in a very off hand manner whilst walking away. I asked for a 4 which the other assistant brought over then left me. The male assistant was actually the manager. I've bought a few pairs of sketchers from here and the staff are usually really helpful. Not this one though. I've worked in retail for over 35 yrs and the least I'd expect is someone to be polite.

Male member of staff very unhelpful. Guy with dark hair, beard and glasses. I asked if they had any wider fitting boots, or any that he thought would be suitable as I have wide feet and he just said "no sorry." So I left, came back half an hour later and asked a nice blonde lady to try some boots on in my size. I knew Skechers usually have a roomier fit than usual so I wasn't giving up. They fit perfectly and were a lot roomier than usual shoes. If I hadn't have gone back I would be empty handed and wouldn't have ended up spending £95 in their store. The man needs to learn a little bit in sales and how to respond and help customers rather than just fobbing them off.

Lovely shop and loads of lovely styles of sketchers. All the staff except one make were very good. Maybe it was because I am older to him but I noted he got me the shoes I wanted then left me and went and served a young female and I asked if I could have another size and he just got some one else to help. She was really helpful. I bought the pumps I wanted and unfortunately the other ones I liked were just a bit to slim for my foot. I have given five stars as just because one member of staff chose age over service it does not reflect the fact that the other staff were helpful and happy. I would return to the shop as it did not put me off at all.

I struggle buying shoes. My feet are a weird shape and few shoes seem to fit me. I went into Skechers in L1 today. And was helped by a lady named Michelle. She was amazing. I must have tried on 13 or 14 pairs of shoes. Time and time again she went into the back room to get more shoes for me to try. She was so patient, even when I was getting impatient. She was never pushy, just super helpful. Thanks Michelle. You've made my feet very happy!

Went there on 22nd Nov and was looking around, no one approached me to see if I needed help, eventually I picked one I wanted to try on, so I sat down and at the back a member of staff on their phone in plain sight!! She did look up saw me and then continued to look at phone!! The manager came from the back and asked if I was okay? I had to go up and ask can i get this in a size 9... poor service more interested in their phone!!

Absolutely terrible staff! Rude and making a sarcastic comment to my elderly mother who is the most gentle, kind lovely person you could ever meet. She left the store and went straight home and was visibly distressed. I know it's possible the member of staff was having an off day but to be rude to an elderly woman is absolutely disgusting! Will never go to this store again.

Visited to return faulty pair shoes that were purchased in the Cheshire oaks outlet Skechers store.....Was dubious if I would need to pay the price difference with the Liverpool store not being an outlet but was pleasently suprised that I didnt need to. Great customer service, very attentive, welcoming, friendly & informative staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful, not a great selection for extra wide shoes, but did get a pair ,when you have feet 6e wide you take what you can get ,but yes it was easy they have a chart with the shoes that go up to that size so your not wasting your time asking do you have these or how about these

Went to the shop today and brought skechers arch fit as recommended by my Physio. Sarah served us with a smile and it was no trouble for her to get me me 3 sizes for me to try on. Excellent service from Sarah, a credit to your store. Will definitely be returning …

I love these shoes, you wear them and feel like you're walking on a cloud. They last forever and there are plenty of styles to choose from. Staff are friendly and happy to help-i especially like the American lady who works there-such a nice, chatty lady.

Since I started wearing Sketches there's no going back they are so comfortable and stylish. Callum was lovely today running in and out of the stock room for different sizes and styles.. Got two pairs of sandals one black and one pink.. will be back. Xx

As always, a great range to choose from. Would have been 5 star except no blue light discount allowed because the trainers were a new line. Shame to not give the discount, understand if it was on promotion. Why only part of range on blue light?

Well there's customer service and then there's customer service. Absolute pleasure to shop here. Staff are knowledgeable on what they sell, but also helpful in helping you choose the best shoe for you. Thanks for a great experience.

Great store went in wanting some running shoes to help with shin splints when running, got some great advice and left with a pair of running shoes (not over priced either) and haven't had issues with my shins since!

Love these runners, so comfortable. This shop is located in the lovely Liverpool One shopping centre. I chatted to a really lovely staff member who was excellent at his job and is definitely an asset to this shop.

Zero stars if I could as I've just driven from Southport after work to buy some shoes and you were closed at just turned 7pm when it clearly states on your website that you are open until 8pm!!! Fuming. Not good!

Be warned!!! If you don't specifically purchase shoes that are "slip resistant", as shown on the box, you could very well purchase shoes that will be dangerous to wear if it is slightly damp outside.

I have damaged bones in my foot and so I struggle to find shoes I am comfortable in. The lady assisted me finding my best options and was very helpful. I will return in future. Thank you.

Lots of stock to browse without being pestered by the friendly, well-informed staff. Have different sizes in the back, so find the ones you like and then ask staff

Very expensive compared to other shops compared to other shops selling the same brand. Shop assistants are run off their feet but try to be as helpful as possible

I find that in Skeychers shop there is plenty of space to keep a safe distance from other customers. I find that the staff could be more attentive and helpful.

I truly love sketchers shoes. What I don't love is the price at what appears to be an average of £80 each at this store. Conclusion: Love costs money.

Popped in for some trainers but a bit to expensive for my budget. Shop was well presented and you do not get harassed by the staff which is good.
