A bad parking experience redeemed only because it was lit well and decently secure for a downtown lot. Getting in and out of the parkade with the code readers as a guest of the hotel is almost laughable. A piece of receipt paper with a QR code is the only way in and out - two separate times I had to "call for help" with the button on the machine because I was trapped in the lot and couldn't get out. At least the prices for hotel guests are reasonable enough ($26 on weeknights and $15 on weekends).
We attended a Twins game in on July 8th and parked in this ramp. We only entered this ramp because it had a sign posted at the entrance that said "Event Rate $10". Unfortunately, when we left, we were charged $19, and we had no choice but to pay that in order to leave the ramp because there was no attendant. I'm not sure where the $19 amount came from, but if the event rate is posted at the entrance, that is the price that should be charged.
We parked here for lunch on a weekday. Did not anticipate having to pay $23 for two hours when a sign for $12 was posted. When I phoned to ask about it all the staff said was it's printed below (sorry I can't see the fine print when driving on Hennepin). They made no attempt to rectify the misleading information. There was some water standing in the ramp besides. As a result of this, we will find elsewhere to park in the future.
It's a nice enough location for a parking ramp.... But.... It's not the easiest to get into our out of. And it's really, REALLY expensive to park here! Yikes! In my opinion, it's worth going an extra block away to pay much less.... But it's all relative I suppose. It is clean and there are ample spaces available, which is nice.
Sign states 2-24 hours is $24. Lost ticket price is $30. I arrived mid-afternoon and left the next morning (less than 24 hours) and was charged $30. I called and was told their business day is 5am-5am. So parking from 4pm-5am equals 24 hours and anytime beyond 5am costs extra. The sign and rates are misleading.
Parked for lunch (less than 2 hours) on a weekday. The sign at the entrance said $9 for 2 hours or less. Was charged $21 as I left. There was no attendant, so no choice but to pay to get out.
In at 4pm on Monday, out at 10am on Tuesday - I thought it would be $23 (2-24 hours) but nope, $46. The rate must calculated per calendar day. Convenient location but way too expensive.
Great place to park in downtown Minneapolis. Parked for two nights and it was only $27. Had a skyway attached to our hotel which was very convenient.
$12 for 30minutes parking? That's outrageous and a ripoff. DO NOT PARK HERE!! No wonder this mall is completely dead with empty stores.
Simple and easy process to park. Enough space for larger vehicles. Well maintained and clean. Price for parking was reasonable.
