My rating would have been a 1-star if not for a few dedicated teachers who work at this school. Let me just say that the Special Ed teachers are way too violent, the school isn't sanitary enough (I got the flu right after I came back from school on Christmas Break), and I have to use this secret account because I know if they find out who I am, there'll be a witch hunt over me. And to those dedicated and outstanding teachers, thanks for improving my life and preparing me for the future. If it wasn't for you this school would be bad. And to that one teacher who, you know who you are, blackmailed me into failing my 1st semester; just leave, you're a bad influence on this school. I'm at a much better school now, for kids like me. It's not overcrowded like a very familiar school I just came from which is the only one of few high schools, and doesn't treat their students like plebs. What kept me going in this school were the friends I made here, who I will no longer see except for one, but it was for the best. Oh, and if you think all the teachers are great, just know that I got a zero on a major grade for 'disrespect' even though the project was on academic skills and much less on behavioral skills.

School of Science and Technology is one of the best schools that my daughter and son have ever attended. The school is tremendously helping them to improve their not academic but communication skills as well. Their math skills and reading skills way better than any regular public school would have done for them. My daughter is in high school and they offer a great variety of AP courses that address her needs. Along with that, Dual Credit options are also very crucial for her to start earning her college credit. My son is in middle school and he enjoys a lot. He is in Mathcounts team and has practice sessions three days after school and at the weekend. The admin team, from the principal to the assistant principals, high school counselors, teachers, front office staff, everybody is doing an excellent job.

I have attended this school since it opened, I started out as a 6th grader and I am now a senior. Of course, in the beginning I thought the world was ending when I found out that this school didn't have an athletic department (which it does now, a good one too), there were little to no dances, and worst of all, none of my friends were there! However, since then I have gone to Europe twice, and am going this Spring Break again, I have competed all over the nation in a singing competition for six years, and have also competed in robotics competition bringing the big W home plenty times. This school has offered me so much more than I could have ever imagined. This is a school in which children learn to have aspirations in life, and receive help to get them there. I wouldn't change a thing. GOOD JOB SST.

I have 2 daughters that attend SST- 6th grader and Sophomore. We really like the small size of the school and classrooms. The one on one is so much better than the public school we live near. The dedication to the curriculum is what I really like. They have some sports to select from but not a big variety like the larger public schools. But athletics is not a reason we selected this school. You do have to provide your own transportation to and from but this is a small price to pay with what we get in return. My sophomore is enrolled in the dual credit program and is taking a college course twice a week. I am glad that I made the choice 5 yrs ago to move my girls into this school system.

My son will be going to this school as a 9th grader. I have heard many wonderful things about this school and have seen 2 of my best friend's kids graduate from SST and they loved it! Both have been accepted to amazing colleges! I do not know of many schools that put forth such an effort to get students to apply to colleges and push the students to reach for their dreams, but I am happy to see that SST is among those schools that encourage higher learning. The enrollment process was a breeze and staff welcomed all of my questions and were always happy to assist.

School of Science and Technology is an excellent school. I have been a student since my ninth grade year, and now i am a senior, and i can truly say that this school has taught me so much. SST has a great support system with teachers and staff always wanting to help you. I am also very thankful for the amazing experience to go to California with other seniors. The small classes and community allows everyone to get the attention and help that they need. SST has given me so many amazing experiences that i will never forget.

Both our kids goes to SST and is almost 3 years now.. They really enjoy the school. Teachers are very dedicated and helpful. School offers AP and dual credit courses which helps with their college credit and gives them experience in college level curriculum and challenge themselves. Student teacher interaction is good and it really helps and motivates them. We are happy that our kids are going to SST.

We like the small school environment (500 students). At SST, the high school students gets to know everyone in their class. Our son is very interested in Computer Technology and SST provides excellent curriculums in Computers, Robotics and Cyber Security. Also, the school lets out at 3pm so the students have plenty of time to do their homework and play each day.

Ive been at the School of science and technology since my freshman year and it has been a fantastic experience. My friends are more like family and the teachers are great. There is not one teacher that I do not know or have been in contact with. The counselors are amazing and inspire us to be better everyday.

Great school, great faculty; great all around!! They truly motivate your child to be a self thinker, if you want something different; then this is not for you. SST is preparing your child for the reality of the future. Whether they decide to go to college or not they will be prepared!!

SST Main is a nice school, caring teachers who want the best for you. The school may be strict sometimes but yet they care about your safety as much as they care about your education.
