Self checkout staff as the worse. They constantly scream to shoppers that tills are free. It's not a nightclub with loud music, I don't even think that they play music in there. The screaming is unnecessary. Most of the time, they just scream into the ears of people who are already using the tills. I had this experience today. I suffer from migraines, today the screaming was even more insufferable than usual. As I was exiting, the staffed screamed again, right into my ear and not in the direction of shoppers waiting for the till. I made a comment about her screaming, I guess this offended her because she made a rude comment back (way to take costumer feedback). I wasn't surprised by this. She was the same staff member that falsely accused me of stealing the shopping that she watched me pay for about a year ago. I was followed through the mall by the security who tried to detain me in front of a bunch of bored people with smartphones eager to go viral on tiktok. They had to let me go when I logged into my bank app on my phone to show my recent bank charge from Sainsbury's. The ordeal was so traumatic that I forgot the code for my building, I was in so much shock and remained that way for days. Luckily my flatmate was in and buzzed me in. I guess to women like her, I am stereotype who does not deserve the common human decency of shopping in peace without being screamed at or made to show her recent bank transactions to prove that they can afford to buy £8.49 worth of overpriced groceries. Not all the staff suck, most are alright, and a few are particularly friendly. Clearly the current system for the self-checkout doesn't work for their staff or costumer experience. But even if this system gets better, as long as this particular staff member keeps working there, shopping there will always be an unpleasant experience that I have to force myself to go through whenever I'm too lazy or busy to walk to the Tescos on Mare street, which is further away from where I live, but a safer environment to get my basic necessities without putting my mental and physical health in danger.

You treat your customers contemptuously. Today a man walked into the shop bellowing in a threatening way. He stood at the entrance shouting and then walked around the shop, continuing to shout. The two security guards at the entrance did nothing to stop him. I had to check myself out - a process I wouldn’t object to if it worked - but twice the machine froze because I’d hadn’t placed the object exactly as I should and twice I had to wait for the single negligent staffer to come over and help me. She kept her back to me and looked away when I caught her eye. I don’t expect to have to plead with a shop to take my money, or put up with threatening people roaming the place. There’s no excuse to treat customers in this shabby way. Why can Waitrose treat people civilly, but you can’t? You’re not any cheaper. Another ludicrously long wait at the self-serve checkout, with staff dodging me when I needed help and a long queue waiting behind me.It’s my own fault for going back. Aldi, we need you! AND I have to pay for parking at this terrible shop - pay to park in a filthy car park stinking of urine. There is no signage at the entrance explaining this.

The management at Sainsbury's should all be given the sack. Somebody had the bright idea to stop putting sell-by dates on the fresh veg, 'to reduce food waste'. All the fresh veg is rotten. No joke, it's all inedible. The meat section is no better. The packs of meat do still have a sell-by date but it goes off well before that. I saw an entire shelf section of mince today, all discoloured and all unsold. It was brown and putrid looking. Sainsbury's also have very many own-line food products which at one time were good value for money. Not any more. The prices have gone up and it seems like they have gone to a different supplier to make the stuff out of cheaper ingredients. Taste the difference? Well yes on these particular things you can really taste the difference. They have all gone yucky. The packs of frozen curly fries are truly disgusting. They have also changed the trifles, the instant mashed potatoes, choc ices... all once favourites with my kids, and now urgh yuck.

Awful ableist staff. Have had a number of bad experiences here. Also they illegally promote short dated first stage formula products or those that are being discontinued, including those that are not meant to be used except for a last resort and under medical supervision as there are additional health risks involved with their use. The formula is repeatedly put in a reduced to clear section and the impression is given that the price is reduced, even though it isn't, this is still illegal. The legislation is there to protect the health and safety of formula fed babies not just to promote breastfeeding. When I and other parents complained on social media and by calling the store the manager was adamant that he was not breaking the law even though it could clearly be shown where he was, and Sainsbury's HQ backed him up on this, even muting those on twitter who pointed this out.

if youre of an ethnic minority, avoid this place, the first time i went in to the store i picked up a couple items and put them in my basket and realised i didnt have my wallet so i put the basket back down to go to my car and grab my wallet, but when i put my basket down i was approached by a European security guard, who told me hes been following me around the store and he knows what i am doing and i need to get lost or hell take me to the back of the store and beat me up. i was very confused and a little scared as im not sure what he was talking about. i left the store without my items as i felt violated. weeks later i have gone back and i was followed around the store by another security guard, not the same person but another european guy who stopped me on my way out and asked to check my reciept. this is racial profiling at its finest and

Customer service was very poor today which is not usually like this. What has stood out to me is that the leadership is poor. When I brought my complaint to Carl, the store manager, he had poor listening skills, demonstrated incredibly poor service with an illogical, defensive and quite rude response to my complaint. I would say that Sainsbury's Dalston should monitor his performance and perhaps employ someone with better people skills and perhaps put him on some training regarding managing customer complaints. I will not be returning to this store - Morrisons, Co - op and M&S have much better customer service and variety with better prices. I only visit this store because it is convenient but I will travel elsewhere for a better shopping experience.

Good store. Staff are more than happy to help. Always a fan of Sainsbury's quality however the company would benefit from more competitive pricing in the area. I do love their strawberry fizzy laces however their large bags of 3 are so much packaging! I'd like to se Sainsbury's doing something more to combat such wastage. This store is always well stocked even in popular items and the drink section is usually well maintained. Promotion are good and I do enjoy the end of night bread reductions. The bakery and savoury department closes a bit early though so I'd definitely like to see it open to store close.

I am 49yrs old and have been shopping in that store for over 10yrs. After being refused to buy tobacco (because apparently I didn't look old enough), I will never shop there again. I appreciate that I may look younger than my age....but seriously! The whole experience was a total joke. I understand why the store looks like it is about to close down. Because if the staff can not tell the difference between a teenager and a nearly 50year old woman. Then they are in more trouble than they realise. And the manager I spoke to about it, seem as clueless as the cashier. I will never shop there again!!

  • Elephant Walking

Grim. People are getting quite distressed at not being able to manage the checkouts themselves. Huge queue at 12 noon today. I Never have a good experience shopping here now. It's all far too fiddly and confusing. Not enough cash checkouts and you are treated like a criminal when leaving. Go to Aldi. The price is the price and that's it. No phone; no Smart Shop; no confusing pricing. I can only presume that the person who thought up this mess, never goes into a shop. Is there any way of speaking to someone about this? Anyone with power is hiding from customers. I think I would too.....

  • Ron

Besides the security guard yelling "can you please checkout we're about to close!" to customers from 50m away and saying that he'll eventually snap because of it (of course he never will lol) the rest of the experience is fine. I got my stuff fairly quickly and was offered a bag by the cute checkout assistant. Had the security guard kept it professional and not assert himself when he should just be doing his job and meeting halfway with unknowing customers then I wouldn't have it any other way. Now if you can excuse me, I'm about to enjoy some pretzels and sunbites. Yummm

One of the worst supermarkets in Hackney. Has gone downhill massively in the last year. No shopping trolleys, barely any wheelie baskets. They keep blaming Ridley Market stallholders for stealing the trolleys. so PUT SECURITY TAGS ON THEM! They've removed ALL the staffed tills so the disabled and elderly are really struggling. Very few friendly staff left, probably because they're all fed up with customers complaining. I've been a customer since the old store next to Kingsland Station in 1983. Not any more. Are you deliberately running down this store, Sainsburys?

  • L T

Bought lots of Christmas food with Sainsbury gift cards it was great. Altho I was walking around lots of old super slow people who have no spacial awareness or mindfulness of others, as in, others will walk in front of you at a snail's pace, people will walk at you like they're main characters, and some will stop in junctions, crossroads, or the middle of a pathway to check their basket or talk to someone they know. Old farts and clueless people, for that reason I have to lower my review from 5 stars to 1, I would give it zero if I could.

  • Leighton Smith

Have visited many times over the years. It’s a big shop, so a pretty good selection across items. The prices are pretty good. I often do some of my recycling here, specifically for shopping bags, batteries and filters (like Brita filters). The beer selection here is OK but frankly it could be better. The staff are fairly helpful and friendly. The place is located in the heart of Dalston, so pretty convenient. It’s certainly one of the better options in the area if you’re doing a big shop or just want a large supermarket selection.

  • Hannah Jeffery

Sainsbury’s have removed all the tills and trollies. What the heck are you thinking? Parents with buggies, the elderly and anyone less than able finds it impossible to do their shop - navigating the aisles dragging multiple baskets across the floor. It’s discriminatory, not to mention counter-productive commercially. We put two boxes of beers back as we couldn’t fit them in our tiny baskets. Good luck trying to do your Xmas shop. Or not - we’ll be doing ours at Morrisson’s.

  • Sharon Dyra

I have been doing my weekly shop at Sainsbury's for a number of years and have noticed the decline, there are never any trolleys because they are stolen. When I reported this to the stores manager they wasn't interested and said I could use a basket, no thanks I was doing a weekly shop. So I went to another store. Some of the staff need to be trained in customer service, if they are not happy to help customers then they shouldn't work there.

  • Lolah Ade

Busy Sainsbury's but they have mastered the art of crowd control and as soon as the lines form, they tend disappear and move quickly. It's very family oriented so you get lots of full trolleys. The self check-out looks busy they usually have 2 to 3 dedicated staff therr ensuring all the tills are used and those paying with cash have access. They replenish quickly but best time to go is first thing in the morning before the rush begins.

  • Paula Weekes

I love shopping at sainsbury the Stamford Hill store is clean n friendly if there's something you can't find or discontinued at their store the staff don't hesitate to look for you or direct you to one of their other branches pleasant shopping all round just a little bit of a moan here please tell check out staff to be a bit more pleasant as nothing like a smile and pleasantries when being served overall super dooper store

  • James Marsh

Sainsbury's is Sainsbury's the shop is fine. The one star review is for the poor experience at the checkout. Not only do the staff not want to help anyone with issues at self service and you now have to scan your receipt to leave the shop... Not very convenient for those with lots of bags. I don't think anyone who is trying to steal anything would leave through the checkout anyway! Very daft idea and a big inconvenience.

  • A Merv C

Whenever I go to this shop every section is empty. These pictures were taken at 6.30pm. Not even the end of the day. Normally all shops fill the sections during the day apart from Sainsbury in Dalston. I sometimes have to go to Sainsbury in Angel. Can somebody explain why there is minimum effort in this shop? Every section apart from pasta section is empty. They only over fill the sections that are not very popular.

  • Mashud Sikdar

Store is well located and big enough including homeware, toys and clothing section although these sections are not that big but has the essentials. Also includes world foods section. One star down because a store of this size you would expect parking to be free but it's not. There is a charged car park. Upside of location is there are other shops within the shopping centre so you can get a few things done in one go.

  • laurent voituron

Now that the supermarket has got rid of all human tills. The wait is even longer. Many of the selfcheck out tills are closed. The choice of product is very poor. Prices are higher than other supermarkets, and often, items are not clearly priced or not priced at all. The few staff members remaining are overworked and stressed. But it's all profit for Sainsbury's. Nowadays, I avoid that place as much as I can.

  • Donsie Liscious

Went later on in the evening..around 7.30 ish...and as we are in the midst of a pandemic there was an almighty queue. Fortunately it was well managed and social distancing in place. Once in store it was pleasantly spacious and not over crowded and there seemed to be good stock levels still. The queue to pay was fairly heavy but once again it was well managed and perspex screens were in place for protection.

  • Jennifer Albert

Stock not always replenished in a timely manner but its local, the staff are friendly and helpful on the whole so it's where I do my weekly shop. Have for years. I was ID'd for a bottle of Rum recently (nice to know they do it) but at 43 and being a non-driver, I didn't have ID with me.. I may not look my age but I most definitely don't look under 25!!! Compliment to some, annoyance and inconvenience to me!

  • Lisa Ogun

Love this Sainsburys and it's staff but, seriously, this store needs to get the smart scan devices in for us to use. Just as I was heading towards the checkout to pay for my 27items shop, my phone battery died. What a waste of energy and time doing all that self-scanning. Using one of their own devices would've saved me having to que for another 7mins to go through a normal check out process.

  • Wayne Zahra

(Update) How about investing in staff ? Since you guys have taken the tills away this place is a joke. Has anyone from head office seen how long the queues are now than before ? Wow ! Absolutely shocking ! Staff are okay, well basically the store is inside a shopping centre which is indeed a dump. People seem to walk through you as if you’re invisible. Whole place is a dump.

  • Sharon S

Terrible experience tonight. Put all my shopping through the till £267 and the screen froze. Manager told me to put all the shipping through another till. This is after waiting 25 minutes for a trolley. I left all the shopping there. I will shop in Tesco in future. Always only 2 tills open. Manager said short of staff because a high turnover of staff. REALLY I WONDER WHY!!!

  • S.A. Egan

Biggest supermarket in the area and therefore has the most selection, so I do visit often. It's really in need of a modernisation, though, and so it's not the most inspiring or pleasant place to do your shopping. I guess that's partially because it's inside a shopping centre, but still.. could do with updating. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful.

  • taptapska

Sainsbury in Dalston in shopping mall is offering unsafe, very narrow entry doors that is also exit doors. This creates great discomfort in movement. The solution is not considering people on wheelchairs, crutches etc. moving in and out. Previous wide entry is covered in crates. Sainsbury is putting people at risk by creating this narrow entry/exit!

  • Charlie Kruger

This sainsbury's is fairly decently stocked most of the time, with a good enough selection. But getting out of the store is horrible. The tills often have really long lines, the self-checkouts are a mess. There is no room, not enough staff to help as the machines need constant verification and then you have to scan your receipt to even leave.

  • dan d.

Staff are horrible lol. People behind went ahead of me so I proceeded to look for available self check outs. I couldn't find one and the big lady who works there said "you should listen to my voice if there's available " duh people went ahead of me and I'm supposed to wait for you? She feels like she's a cop or something …

  • Alari Naylor

This Sainsbury's has hit choppy waters. I miss the days of plentifully filled shelves and a festive boating lake in the car park. Random empty shelves continue, while the reorganisation that has been ongoing for the last couple of months is great if you like playing hide and seek with your regular items that move every day or two.

  • Customer

The card readers are faulty. It prompts you to put in or swipe your card. The assistant then has to place folded paper in with your card. I told her I'll use another till. She was pulling my card out of my hand by force. Saying, it's alright she'll put the paper in. How dodgy is that. This cannot continue.

  • Robert Giacomo

Some of the staff have no professional customer service skills. It is just chaos around the tills. Very poorly managed. Chillers have all been converted into glass cabinets but with reduced lighting you cannot see products well. Poorly managed branch. Only plus it shelves always seem to be well stocked.

  • Clare

Their shelves are not restocked regularly on fairly basic food stuff. The cigarette/customer service is always understaffed and the security staff are off putting. Staff seem very unsatisfied in their job and try their best but look so unhappy. I only go here because its the nearest sainsburys to me.

  • Louis Wilkinson

What we have here is a very run of the mill, middle of the road, big standard Saino. Often busy and not well managed at the tills and with counters closed (covid I guess?). Good veg and fruit section. Good crisps and choc. Other sections are lacking variety and that wow factor that I really look for.

  • Chris Jackson

Shopped here for years, won’t be going to Sainsbury’s again. The conversion to self checkout only has caused chaos in the store. Staff are running around with no idea how to manage the flow of people and queues now extend throughout the entire shop so it’s pointless popping in for a couple of items

  • Debbie Zig zag

They have taken the tills away so it's now self service but it doesn't help people with disabilities it's very long queue not very helpful staff as it hard to pack your bags if you have a disabilities when I ask to see a manager was told that there was no manager in that day the he just walked away

  • Abid Ahmed

The worse Sainsburys I ever came to no check out? No parking less staff wth last time I came here 10/13 years ago it was never like that very less option for snacks couldn’t even find any workers for help to top it off the queue was so long and left my shopping on the shop floor and walked out kmt

  • Honey Bunny

It was OK but took ages to work out which steak to buy as it wasn't clear on packaging as to most tender ones, and the reception on mobile was low. Apart from the steak being on offer, there wasn't much good deals, apart from snacks. There should be more offers during such a crisis. Friendly staff.

  • S O'Shea

Darker, drabber, with snugger aisles than it used to have, and only one or two humans running registers. But still basically a good supermarket, with reasonably good selection, and good own-brand products. Nice selection of free-from offerings, as well. Watch for their Aldi price matches!

  • Janice Wilson

I like it in here as staff are great. Always discounts on bits and pieces. Especially the salmon. Good luck to Theresa who has been working here for all the time I have shopped her.she has been absolutely fantastic. Wish you all the best. Sainsbury's will never be the same without you.

  • Bisi Opoosun

Sainsbury's was good there was a long queue, but it went down quick. The staff has excellent service and accommodate me well. They had yogurts at £1.50 for four. Cheese that was enough for me. Service all the way with a smile. Lovely. Definitely going there again . Big up Dalston

  • nickthelight

This is the worst supermarket I've ever had to visit. Lived in Dalston for 11 years and it's always been this bad. There's more on the shelves in Zimbabwe and Venezuela. The photos were taken at 18:00 on a Tuesday. If you can avoid giving Sainsbury's your money you should.

  • Cynthia Onah

A shopping mall where you get almost everything you need. The self-service checkout arena is easy and seamless. Signs are up to help you locate the item you are looking to buy so you don't walk around aimlessly. The staff are nice and friendly and ready to give a hand.

  • K O

I frequently drop by at about 4pm on weekdays and the fresh produce shelves are never well-stocked or regularly replenished. Items are poorly placed, not as organised as other stores such as the one at Angel, and the staff here seem overworked. Given up on this place.

  • Holly Deacon

Good selection of products, but you have to scan your receipt on the way out. Never seen that in any other Sainsbury’s across London or outside, and it’s troubling that you’re only doing it in a neighbourhood with a primarily black and minority ethnic population.

  • Daniela Corazza

I hate the fact that they have only self-service checkouts, it's so inconvenient now, waiting in a never ending queue, especially if you have small children, carer or disabled, etc. I used too like this sainsbury, now I will be going elsewhere for my shopping.

  • Diane Senior

When you find something good, stick to it. I'm happy to take the time to catch the overland to use this Dry Cleaners. Friendly staff who are always happy to go the extra mile whether it's your dry cleaning, alterations, or just doing your washing for you

  • Family Meyer

Unfortunately , it doesn't stock some of the items I use regularly, which was disappointing. I was also not too pleased with the checkout, the lady wasn't very polite and ended up overcharging me as well. I may have to look for different supermarket.

  • mark clement

Two of the clientele from this establishment utterly disrespectful they were irate and were unable to keep a professional attitude they acted like a bit him throughout most of the conversation I had with them they should not be trusted with anything

  • Will Banfield

Really poor exit system for the self checkout. Scanning your receipt causes constant holdups and a serious bottleneck. I’ve had this issue countless times now, and am quite frustrated with it. Even Aldi does better! This needs to be remedied ASAP

  • Ben Houghton

Well organised supermarket. Excellent quality of fruit, and the bananas were in great condition. Compliments to the staff for carefully handling them. Wide variety of milk available. The shop has really improved over the last couple of months.

  • Anthea Nicholas

James James James! My Xmas lifesaver how amazing was you today 22nd December 2023 around 10.30am. I was standing there thinking what am I going to do without that one ingredient! I mentioned it to you and just like that you said a few words

  • Martin Söderin

More often then not, they run out of stock of certain products. I come here pretty often as it's near my house, and it's like a lottery if they will have the products I come to get. There is a poor selection of vegan and vegetarian products.

  • Caroline Akparanta

This Sainsbury's is vibrant with all kinds of people and at times with drama. It provides other types of food that are unusual and for specific ethnic group. It has TU clothing/shoes items plus other things sellable. The layout is good but

  • Maria Marina

Love this particular shop, it's my first choice every week. But it became a little bit less filled than used to be on Mondays/Tuesdays. This is the biggest Sainsbury’s you'll find in Dalston/Islington area. It has clothes (in comparison to

  • Jo Monrose

Annoyingly, no trollies were available in the middle of the day on Saturday! I could not shop as I wanted as I had to carry a basket (without wheels), so I was limited in what I could carry with a hidden disability. No staff to ask either!

  • Chi-chi

I regularly visit Sainsbury's in Kingsland Shopping Centre and find the staff to be helpful. Lorene in particular is always cheerful and a joy to be around, she makes shopping a very pleasant experience for myself and other customers.

  • Grant Barmby

They should knock this shopping centre down and either rebuild or repurpose it. It’s out of date, not maintained properly and generally not fit for purpose anymore. While they are at it, bulldoze Ridley Road Market at the same time.

  • Rebecca Joseph

Not enough stock on shelves on items I buy regularly . Car park too expensive at £6 an hour. Used to be free for Sainsbury customers, not anymore. Not happy with the present situation. Staff are always friendly and helpful though.

  • FMD MARC

Going down the route of self checkout. Whether lacks customer services and machines don't smile at you. It will be interesting when Aldi open coming to kingsland shopping centre soon Salisbury's will have to raise there game

  • Sara A

Social distancing is non existing. Nobody on the door regulating numbers so crowded and only 2 tills working so long queues. Food selection is good though and lots of special offers, just not what I'd call covid safe …

  • Daniel Hearn

Everything in Sainsbury's is good but I would like the prices to be cut & or everything's price to be reduced on the nectar card and have a way to start the online shopping via the app without scanning a barcode in-store.

  • Dez Brown

Busy as per usual, and police patrol inside to make sure people are wearing their mask. 6 people got fines and a severe warning for not wearing their mask whilst in store and being rude to the staff. Good on yah old bill.

  • Timothy Rose

The shop was very well stocked no Ques to enter and i only had 1 person in front of me at the checkout i asked a staff member he had good knowledge of the product i was after but the only downside was they didn't stock it

  • Ash

Good variety of products, the staff are somewhat miserable all the time and very unhelpful. Also you used to get free parking if you spent £10 before but now that has been taken off so you must pay for parking.

  • Tracey Murphy

A great shop is not as expensive as it used to be, but still, the same great quality is a really good vegan section if you want something quick a bit weird now they don't have anyone on tills lines can be long

  • André Wéber

Have been reorganising the store for weeks now, can’t buy basic things (such as kitchen foil) since it’s in the back, and as an employee said there is too many things in the back so they can get it for us… lol

  • Amaka I

Got a good selection of everything but I think quite expensive. However, since Aldi local opened nearby, they have good offers on fruits and veg. No fresh meat or fish counter. They got removed after Covid.

  • Denise BISSET

Didn't have the items I wanted so went to leave the shop. On my way out I was apprehended as a shop lifter. Obviously I had not taken anything but I would avoid going back to the shop after my experience.

  • Lily Ly

It has everything you need, when the products are in stock! The issue is dalston is densely populated, so a store this size isn't enough. Ideally we need a mega store. Staff are always polite and helpful

  • Adebimpe Oluwafunmilayo Adeyemi

The Sainsbury brand needs no introduction. I was impressed with the fact that they had scotch bonnet though. Self-service was the only way to check out. The attendants were open and ready to help.

  • Nneka Anienwelu

Local sainsburys - staff sometimes send you to wrong part of store for items or extended wait times. Regardless they have all the essentials and you can also do click and collect which is a plus.

  • Michelle K

A good range of organic meats and fresh fruit & veg, it's by far the best for organic out of all the major supermarkets in Dalston. It also has a good selection of world foods that surprises you.

  • Monica M.

Nice, but mess inside plus almost every week they change place of some stuff and then is needed to look for something very long time. I know a lot of shops is doing the same, but it is annoying.

  • Zee

Used this store for over 25 years now, but also use other stores in side to. They used to have parking what was so good but no longer have this. Due to this I go more where i can park for free.

  • Toria Gibson

No fruit and veg Some staff a rude and stand around chatting to other staff members Some staff are helpful and go the extra mile They have no added new fridge freezers which seem to be fuller.

  • Olivia T

You can shop normally with a mask on, there's more cardless checkout machines but overall not much has changed, except at the moment stock is there, it's best to buy now in case :)

  • Richie Cranley

We done our big Christmas shop and the staff couldn’t have been anymore accommodating! So helpful. Special thanks to Noor who opened the larger self-checkout area just for us.

  • Team_ A’s & KC

One of the staff her name is Sam,she is rude, big mouth. You don’t have a chance to talk and she humiliated me to all the customer. Asking her colleagues to back up her.

  • Rusty Fitzgerald

This store is a hell hole. Like something after the apocalypse. Disorganised mess with staff shouting their heads off at people in unnecessarily long queues.

  • Bee Jeg

The 'Rona' has everyone panic shopping in Sainsbury's Dalston. I came for olive oil and pasta (which was sold out) and spent over 45 mins queuing …

  • Sophia Sai

Fully stocked shelf's can get all your household stuff from there also clothes self check out has two to three staff working so the wait is never to long

  • Stellson Femi Pedro

Neat organised store with roomy airy welcoming environment. Prices reasonable on some items but real value for healthy lifestyle is why I love Sainsbury

  • Christopher Bakie HENRY

Offers aplenty! Look for reduced products; GOT 25p off 4xchocDeserts with 3 days left to eat! REM.NECTAR SIGN IN AND SAINSBURYS FRUIT AND VEG CHALLENGEs

  • Paul Turner

They have removed all the traditional tills and trollies. So if you require anything more than an a hand full of goods, head to Morrisons up the road.

  • Michael Gillies

You can find anything you want in Sainsbury's, plenty of choice of food and drink, but moreover other goods that other supermarkets don't provide.

  • Gary O'Keefe

I went to buy a 3-pack of food storage boxes from the homeware aisle. The price marked on the shelf was £4.99, the price at the till was £9.25.

  • Cyber Watch

I feel as if I’m shopping with the living dead. Sometimes I think I’m invisible. What’s worst, the staff or customers? Terrible place.

Its easy to do your shopping at sainsbury. You can get variety of food and household items under one roof. It saves times and costs

They've moved all the tills to self checkout, and while doing this got rid of half of the basket tills. Queues are now ridiculous.
