The worse Japanese restaurant I ever been, the service is bad and the food is sucks and can't believe there are charging this price with this service and food. Can't imagine how they survive in melbourne since melbourne is the city with great service and great food. lastly, they didn't clear the empty plates even walking around for many times. I will never come again because of the bad and not fresh food and the worse service.

Dont trust other positive google reviews. In reality, very poor service and really poor quality of food. Servings are immensely small, tonkatsu that is hard rock solid and base burnt and plates are intentionally filled with salads that are not even edible. The owners were not very nice to us and took away our wine glasses without asking, assuming we didnt drink wine just because we were asians. No offence but avoid at all cost!!

We did takeaway. Ordered 2 dishes, original price wouls cost $32 but they had a 10% discount when you takeaway more than $30. So we ended up paying $28. Price is generally a bit expensive. Friendly staff. One of the fried udon was a bit too sour for me, but my partner thought it suited her taste. Generally the food is not bad. Worth a try.

Extremely nice food, very fancy and delicious. Prices are extremely cheap for how amazing the food is, and the hand roles were very unique, and much better than the ones you’ll get anywhere else. The food is fresh, and all the fish related foods (sushi, sashimi, etc) are prepared right there, and don’t just sit there behind glass all day.

A little bit pricey but food was amazing. We had the tempura and gyoza for entree, katsudon and teriyaki salmon for our mains. Everything was delicious. Not to mention the dango and ice cream for dessert, definitely completes the whole course.

Freshly prepared. Efficient and polite. Small family business. Good food, great prices. Clean, quiet and a nice place for a meal with friends. We keep coming back! I wonder how realistic people are when buying Japanese food? If you want basement priced Asian fare, go to a Vietnamese cafe in Richmond. 4.5 Stars

Very friendly Staff, I personally think the food is very cheap and is priced appropriately. I got about 3 times a month and I'm always pleased with every meal i order. I love the complimentary dish at the beginning. Very great restaurant.

The menu is overpriced, very small portions and bad service. In particular, the hostess has a terrible service attitude.

Not authentic japanese just not worth the price, me and my friends order platter and shabushabu, not very impressive taste but cost $136, too pricy for the plain taste. Not recommended.

  • Mika Chum

Food was good, however pretty pricey for the small portion you get. Service was poor. FYI - I wouldn't dare to ask for chilli sauce. If you do, ask at your own risk …

  • Tim Sproule

A small family run restaurant. The girls wear traditional dress which is quite cute. The food is always good. Nothing fancy just solid Japanese fare.

  • Tim Richardson

Excellent value, good choice of food, lovely staff. It looks dated ... It's been open since 1996, but that's also a good sign. Should go more often.

Food is always great. My Last experience left me a little disappointed as the mains came an hour after the entrees, too long to wait.
