NO REFUNDS! I purchased a watch from the Chermside store. the watch was faulty and stopped working within hours. The person who I spoke with subsequently said there was "nothing they could do until the manager was on site tomorrow" When I arrived the next day, the manager wouldn't budge and said there can be no refund and no replacement. The only option was for them to send the watch away for repair and this would take weeks. It may seem pedantic, but I wasn't too happy keeping the same watch and would have preferred the refund or one that wasn't a "lemon". As I was leaving the store, the manger made a "face" at another employee as if to imply that I had been unreasonable for asking questions about their return policy and her discretion towards the decision not to refund/replace the watch. The only good thing to come out of this whole experience is that I know now not to shop at Saleras and avoid them at all costs! Their return policy and customer service is not good when comparing to other places. But I do have to mention that the young lady who called me when the watch was ready to be picked up and asked me to sign on collection was very polite, and courteous. A friend of mine shared her own poor experience shopping with Saleras and advised me to stick with other more well known, reliable jewellery/watch stores who can afford to provide refunds/replacements and keep their customers coming back. I hope this review helps make people aware that their store policy is not on the customers side and hopefully someone higher up at Saleras will read this and one day consider upgrading their policy.
I had a fantastic experience here. I'm not usually one who wears jewellery but a beautiful diamond ring caught my eye, it was so different to all the other diamond rings you see in other jewellers. As I browsed I noticed how unique all of the other pieces they had were. The prices were all very reasonable for such good quality. Andrew is the best store person I have ever met. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and happy with my purchase as he was very patient and happily answered all of my questions he also gave very good advice. My ring was sent away for resizing but it came back much sooner than expected and it fit beautifully. Thank you Andrew and saleras I love my ring and will be back in the future!
BEWARE NO REFUNDS Purchased a gift for my partner & was not aware the store has a no refund policy. My partner did not like anything else in store so we are now stuck with jewelry that will never be worn. The store manager firstly stated they had to send the jewelry to head office before a refund could be processed & then back flipped denying he ever said that. The funny thing was he then asked his colleague who would not back up his lie. Not a trustworthy organisation who does not care about customer satisfaction, only focus is making sales. I will never shop here again & will discourage others from doing so.
Guy was absolutely amazing to deal with when choosing an engagement ring for my partner. I am someone who doesn't know too much about jewellery but Guy made the whole process easy to understand and went above and beyond in every way possible. He used his extensive knowledge and attention to detail to help me find the perfect ring for my fiance. Without Guys help and exponential customer service skills I never would have been able to propose on the night of our 9 year anniversary. I would recommend Guy to everyone I know. We will be back for our wedding bands very soon!
Shame you can't give 0!! We purchased a titanium men's ring which the shop assistant sized incorrectly... 2.5 sizes too large. We immediately went on a two month trip and the ring had to be worn on a different finger to avoid it sliding right off. When we returned from holiday we went back to the store expecting a refund or exchange. Stupid us!! We got nothing except a long wait while the manager shopped at Myer, a weak explanation and extreme annoyance when we walked out without a resolution. DON'T SHOP HERE!! WOEFUL SERVICE FROM GO TO WOE (literally)
Went there last Sunday and lady in 40s (possibly Indian, not being racist) started judging us as soon we went inside shop. Didn't bother to say Hello or assist in anything. Went straight to other watch section and kept herself busy there until we left. I saw her reflection in round mirror on your ring section counter checking us from toe to head as my business partner was wearing slippers and usual cloths. So, apparently if you guys go there make sure you are suited and booted. No wonder they relocating.
Service was fine. Older gentleman there , seems to always have his salesman hat on., unfortunately he wasn't enthusiastic enough on the price of the beautiful green Oris Aquis he had and i purchased it elsewhere, the next day. This is the 2nd time i've tried to buy a watch here. I will be in the market for an Aquaracer automatic soon, maybe it will be 3rd time lucky.
Rude and unprofessional .. I was walking past the store , and a male worker said “ come in we have awesome deals “ Paid $135 for gold studs that were two different colours . I tried to get a refund and they said they don’t accept refunds . Only exchanges only . So I got a store credit and went to north lakes . I personally wouldn’t buy jewellery from this store .
I've bought several watches here and beyond the brilliant range and appeal of the store, it's the brilliant service I always receive. No judgement and pure mutual love of watches. Andrew is beyond amazing, he remembers me when I come in and makes it an amazing experience every time. If you want quality watches, great range and knowledge. This is the place to go.
Salera's is a lovely family owned jewellery business with lots of different pieces to choose from at reasonable prices. I have bought a few pieces from this establishment and staff were friendly, but it's the service after that really stands out and I would like to say out of all the staff Andrew was the kindest and most helpful person in getting my piece fixed.
Within hours of wearing a $170 watch it broke apart because it was sized too tight and when I tried to get it fixed they would not do that for me and they would not accept a refund either. I walked 100 meters further and a cobbler replaced the pin that had been lost and resized the watch for free. This store is useless, do not shop here!!
Was quoted a ring at a set price. Bought ring had to be resized. Weighed it after being resized and weighed a full gram less. Asked the manager, she said she didn't know and someone would call me later on. Everytime I called she would say when rings are resized the weight can change. Wasn't given a refund or the gram of gold.
Very good range of quality watches to choose from. Purchased an Oris from Saleras which was over priced at another well known jewellers. The service, and watch/ brand knoledge was outstanding. Definitly recomend Saleras Chermside to my family and friends Thanks again Adrian
