Scenic Hills is a wonderful Bible based church where the study of Gods word and the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is central. The people are friendly and welcoming; I’m sorry to read the experience of the one reviewer; that they didn’t have the experience others have posted. It is a large church with many visitors each Sabbath, and the goal is to reach out to all who visit and attend, but sometimes we miss the mark because of the flurry of activities Sabbath morning. I know the feeling myself; not here actually but at other churches. I have discovered something that is key when visiting a new church. First, why are you coming? If you are seeking fellowship, join one of the Bible study classes where the group is smaller and people can connect with you. If you come to church at the beginning of the Worship service you are probably not going to connect with people one on one. In a large church fellowship comes through small groups. The Greeters are there to help visitors connect to those small groups. So try to get there early enough so there’s time to make those connections. Second, I have also come to realize that you will find whatever it is you are looking for when you attend church. If you are seeking God and want to have a connection with The Savior, you will have it. The Holy Spirit will ensure that; that’s what He does regardless of the external circumstances! If you are looking for faulty people, you have come to the right place! The church is made up of sinners, we all are seeking God. He chooses broken, hurting people to share His love. That is the power of the Gospel; in spite of our failures, Gods love shines though. We can seek Him together as the body of Christ. Dear friend and anyone who may read. In the garden after the fall of our first parents, it was God who came calling to Adam and Eve, He came seeking them; and today He is seeking to connect with you and me. To bring hope and healing; the only real question is how do we respond? Jeremiah 29:10-12. Don’t give up, keep coming! Paul said he had run the race, he had fought the good fight, and now a crown of glory awaited him. Grace and forgiveness come at an instant when you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior; but that is only the beginning of your race, your walk with Christ. It’s not the church that saves you; it’s not all the good things or right things we do, it’s the perfect sacrifice of Christ; nothing else. You can never do enough. Believing and following Christ, a willingness to do whatever He ask of you (your cross). Our greatest challenge is will we follow Him. Trust Him today, give Him permission to work in you and through you; who knows, maybe He will use you as a catalyst for change! One thing I do know for sure; you will be amazed and changed! Blessings and peace to all!

San Antonio Scenic Hills Seventh Day Adventist church left a wonderful impression on me as I visited and worshiped there on the Sabbath. The church exudes a safe and welcoming environment, evident in how everyone wears name tags, making it effortless to get to know each other. It fosters a sense of togetherness and a strong sense of community. The singing group or choir enriched the worship experience with their beautiful melodies, making it easy for the congregation to join in and uplift their spirits. The pastor delivered a great message, inspiring and thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impact on those in attendance. I truly enjoyed my time at Scenic Hills church, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a place of worship. It's a place where you can find not only spiritual nourishment but also a close-knit community that embraces newcomers with open arms. The church's dedication to creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere is truly commendable. If you're looking for a place to feel connected and spiritually uplifted, I encourage you to visit San Antonio Scenic Hills Seventh Day Adventist church.
