Needs more Caltrain parking. Lot fills up by 7:30am, so plan ahead. There are some privately owned parking lots adjacent, $6/day, including at the SAP center. Look on Caltrain website for maps. Major hub, tons of trains stop here. The multiple tracks can be a bit new at first. Check the monitor for departures, pretty standard.

The people who work here are usually friendly. The bathrooms cleanliness just depends on the time of day. There is a good old fashioned news stand and you can get snacks. If you have time to look around there are a few, great historical pieces about the city of San Jose. Hidden gem.

It’s a good point to take caltrains to the North. This place has Amtrack service as well. Not the best station in terms of cleanliness, but it’s right in downtown San Jose and helps in connecting to trains going to the North. There are many vta buses that come to this stop as well.

This is one of my favorite place initially when I started commuting from San Jose to San Francisco through Caltrain.. very clean and neat maintenance one.. no issues faced most of the times smooth commuting and enough seats and good transit place..

I expected a better commuter station in Silicon Valley. While the variey in transport options is very good (CalTrain, AmTrack, Greyhound and VTA buses all converge here), the signaling is confusing and there is no information Center for out

The San Jose California Diridon Station is very comfortable and enjoyable for watching and waiting for Amtrak and local commute services. I give 4 stars because of the commute prices to San Francisco is higher than the Seattle area's Sound

Not a usual traveler in this area, but geeeeeeeze this was the worst place for directions to the correct track if not taking the Caltrain. No signs whatsoever for the Ace or other system. It seems you have to be a frequent traveler here to

Have gone on and out of this station for both Amtrak and the Caltrain. This is a staffed station with bathrooms, automated arrival and departure boards, restrooms, snack/news stand, automated ticketing machines and pay for parking. This is

Really impressed with the staff running the ticket counter and the staff on the train. We had a glitch in the paperwork of my grandson Ashton’s ticket he ended up missing his 4 pm train to Sacramento and having to wait for the 5 pm train.

The station is somewhat good. Not too big yet has a lot of train and bus options both transit buses as well as private buses like Bolt, Mega, CA shuttle. There are friendly rail ambassadors to help answer questions about where to go or by

Love my Caltrain as it helps me beat traffic and the stress of commuting. Yet it might be a very long time until we are comfortable or even safe to use public transportation. Trains are completely empty these days. See pictures attached.

I have been taking the Caltrain for over a year now. Overall their service is great. I usually take the bullet or the limited service and they are always on time. There are only a handful that i can remember the train was delayed due to

No free WiFi, small crowded waiting room, and to top it off, I missed my train because for some reason Amtrak does not have any signs at this station saying which of the 9 tracks its trains will be coming on. If you're lucky, they might

Great stop w/clean restrooms, wooden benches, historical buildings, great customer service & roomy waiting area and helpful folks....lil store sells collection of train pins & lots of lil items, food, snacks, ice cream, treats, tourist

I have taken the capital corridor, amtrak and greyhound numerous times without having trouble with the schedule. I have, however, had to suffer due to the bathroom always being closed or out of order...especially when drinking coffee

And actual train station in San Jose. It also is a bus plaza. There is paid parking in the front of the station. You can take, Amtrak, Greyhound,VTA, etc... It's all here. The station dates from 1935 and it is small compared to other

One of the best ways to get into San Jose from San Francisco is via the Caltrain, which stops here. From San Jose Diridon Caltrain, one can hop onto the Light Rail which connects to many parts of San Jose and the rest of the valley.

Dropping and picking up passengers are major problem at this station. No much space in front of building to do that, and if you need to wait for a passenger, you have to park your car in the parking lot instead in those peak hours.

  • Alex Athanasakos

Beautiful old station with a little exhibit on the history of the airport and the station. A few homeless around but nothing to really worry about. Great service and very easy to find out which platform you need to catch.

  • Marn-Yee Lee

I find this station to be adequate in comfort, for catching Amtrak and Caltrain, and for transferring between the two. There is not a long walk from the vehicle drop-off point to the tracks which is much appreciated.

  • Carlos Babcock

Station is served by Amtrak Coast Starlight (north to Seattle, south to LA) and Amtrak California to Sacramento. Caltrain also runs a commuter service up the peninsula to San Francisco.

I've ride a train to San Francisco from here. The lady attendee here is amazingly patient and helpful (God bless you). The place is okay and there's lot of seat here for you to wait.

  • Jasmine Magana

Amtrak buses disgusting, public transportation is much more cleaner for 10x less of what you pay. Bus late by 20 minutes may miss my transfer may not. Definitely not worth it..

  • Debbie Clark Monsalve

I live in San Jose but we took the train to meet my grandson Aden Jackson invited by his awesome Mom to spend a few days I'm her . She's the best …

Was born here so I have a certain feeling about this city. Lots that could be better but still it's a good city to live in-a bit expensive but still ok

  • Gregg H

It's a small station. Amtrak and Caltrain both depart from here has numerous bus services as well Greyhound, Amtrak and Megabus

  • Thiago Zequi Sousa

Overall it's a nice train station although it's really small and there aren't places to buy food and beverages.

  • Jacob White

Great place. Cheap headphones and cheap food if you forgot to pack some. Great prices too.

  • Erwin Abidog

Convenient station that links light rail, Amtrak, and Caltrain.
