Was there on Friday evening, never seen a more disorganised shambles of an operation in my life. Long queue at the drive through so parked and went inside. I was the only one at the till but had to wait 5 minutes while staring at the cashier as she was ringing up some other order from who knows where. The food was piling up at the waiting station while those who were sorting the orders seemed to have no clue what they were doing. The only saving grace was that my meal was well prepared hence the 2 stars. If I were to rate the service I would struggle to give 1 as there was no service...

This is a simplest mall,but with much available. Its quite and there's so much order...you can easily notice anything you are looking for.The mall is very safe...You can walk there freely without fright at all.The reason why am giving it a 4 star its because there's is no a FNB ATM.To me it seem to be a much concern because a lot of people needs FNB ATM mostly but its available at some distance and thus really not okay .But all in all the place is very nice and everyone is treated the same around there.

Great place for doing a bit of shopping, dining out, grabbing a bite as a take out, Starbucks treat, and a lot more. Bossa if you want to have a nice meal and enjoy a drink or two, inside and outside seating options. Viva Gym opposite the road, Sunningdale Sports Center in lose proximity. Blaauwberg Netcare Hospital in very close range, MyCiti bus stops all around. Checkers Hyper up the road, Builder's Warehouse, Virgin Active, Food Lover's Market are only a few places that are in the surrounding area.

Such a great centre to shop at especially Checkers. Loving there new pet section and toiletries area to name a few areas that have been revamped. Makes shopping a pleasure there. Also love the fact that either before or after shopping there's a seattle coffee shop to ease my coffee cravings. There croissants and lemon muffins are just the best. And I must add there staff are the most welcoming of all shops. Its like arriving home you get such a warm welcome. Just love you guys and the coffee you make.

It is a weirdly designed shopping mall. Although Checkers Hyper is always busy, Sandown Retail Crossing always looks deserted. The huge parking area is mostly empty. It is only the Checkers' customers that fill the parking bays nearest to Checkers. The overall view of the mall is not inviting. It is a cold, almost industrial looking shopping space with few shops that caters for your everyday needs. I visit the mall to go to Checkers and Mambo's only.

The shopping center has very nice take away shops. I only go to Checkers even though there are plenty other shops. The shopping centre would have been a better, cozy experience if it was built like west coast village. But it’s an unfriendly setup far apart shops. Sidewalk is slippery when raining and I don’t want to walk in the rain from shop to shop then. Stupid design. No personality. After the armed robbery I drive to the more expensive PnP

The place itself is not bad at all. But there's some people who go over there for whatever reason with the wrong attitude. Some people have no idea how to respect other people. Nor to consider anyone female or male. This type of class or behaviour are the most unpleasant and horrible and nothing nice at all. And this causes people to avoid such places altogether due to circumstances.

You want the fast food, this is the place to go. McDonald's, KFC, Nando's l, burger King all in a line just pick your poison and have at it. Never had any major issues with any of them, once I received the wrong order but when I took it back they gave me what I ordered and let me keep the wrong one too, i think that more or less made up for the minor inconvenience.

Nothing wrong with the food or anything but the person taking the order at the drive through was terrible!! Rude, didn't know that menu and wasn't able or willing to help at all. We were four in the car and everyone was shocked how rude the person was. What a shame as this is someone's business and some won't come back if that's the service they receive.

Overall it is a great centre. Just seems like there is a lot of wasted space especially on the far side. Need an anchor tenant to draw more people here . Or even an entertainment option. There is the usual things available. Tyre shop, plastics shop, per food shop, billing shop, Seattle coffee and bootleggers. So it is handy just could do so much more.

Sandown retail Crossing has a Checkers (my go to), liquor store, and most of the shops you’d generally need, including all the popular fast food outlets like McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Nandos and more - I would recommend food at all of these fast food restaurants! Sandown Retails also has a factory shop for shoes which is absolutely worth a visit!

Use to love going to this Nandos. Went a week ago for burger meal and was pathetic really so sad. Sample piece of chickenon burger drenched in lettuce and obviously tomato. Ordered the extra hot burger came with no sauce. But made no mistake all the staff was having their lunch and bet theirs was made to perfection. Sorry you lost a loyal customer.

I enjoy visiting it's stores, however the delivery drivers have no decency, there are no monitoring of correct parking usage, i.e. moms and tots, disabled, loading. The security is almost never to be seen outside, and even then, quite useless in any event, as they don't enforce or assist. The centre also lacks sufficient rubbish bins outside.

Mall is good and there are many shops and parking is always available, but only problem is public transport is difficult to find as you are not always in a mood to drive your own vehicle but I guess when going to the mall you must use your own car otherwise you wil have a problem as to get home the rest of the other things is fine

This is a great and convenient crossing. They have a huge Checkers hyper where one can get everything at a go. There are a number of different eateries to choose from. Passed there in the evening of a work week to get a few items and pleased to say I managed to get everything quick and in a safely orderly manner. Thank you.

I love this shopping centre as the is plenty of parking, it's famously clean, no taxis and the hooting and double parking and blocking roads and areas on property and dropping off and creating stress that they cause. Secuirity is excellent and a very good range of stores for gifting, essentials, health and browsing.

Unfortunately the quality gets worse - we loved the Nandos, but the last three meals we had were far from the tasty food we are expecting. The chicken was dry, burned and lacked sauce. The mielies were dry and looked like 6 weeks old. The roles were old and stale… We know you can do better

Shop here all the time. Love the Checkers. Medirite pharmacy are great with professional advice and friendly service. I am convinced that Checkers employ there supervisors for the ability to walk more slowly than snails, but this is accross all stores. Haven't seen one move fast in years …

Very busy as usual-Checkers Hyper a big draw card with a big sale offered in a separate marque.Plenty free parking, wheel chair friendly-I felt safe.Nibbly Bits large variety of baked goods( part of Woolies goods that did not make the shelf-broken bits or other defects, but still a good buy)

Great shopping experience. There was a note irt the shopping mall restrooms. "Soon the restrooms will be paid for at R2." I suggest if you goin for a longer shopping experience to carry coins, but as for me I will not be visiting anytime soon. " The new table bay mall is closer"

Great place to go visit if you like going to checkers! There are other shops around as well to fill you needs like hair dresses, pets shops , places to eat an more. Ample parking space. Very clean and hygienic with a good atmosphere and some friendly staff that great you.

A retail crossing with grate shops and a big food store. But there are no restaurant to go and eet with only one Bread and Butter that are grate food and service . Then there are the take a ways with different food choices .the parking space the shoppers are plenty .

I shop here on a regular basis, particularly at Checkers Hyper and Nibbly Bits. Checkers is very fussy about sanitation and wiping down their trolleys. The checkout staff wipe down their area after each customer and distancing at the checkout is strictly adhered to.

Lots of fast food drive thru's to pick from which will instantly make you feel like you've stepped into fast food heaven. Just make sure you check your order in the car before you drive off -- with that many patrons, they're bound to get a few orders wrong.

Very nice little centre. It has everything you need for daily shopping. The Checkers is pretty good and has a massive baby section and onsite pharmacy, really nice Bootleggers, and a good selection of take out places. Avoid the KFC, the service is abysmal

It was okay. But when I arrived the staff were chatting amongst themselves and ignored me for s good few minutes even though they could see me. I had to ask if they were closed or could help me before one sighed and ask me what I wanted to order.

This Nandos is Great. The Nandos owned stores are normally Horrible in comparison to Franchise owned ones. But this one is surprisingly good. Must be Good Management & that makes all the Difference. The Nandos in Milnerton for e.g is HORRIBLE.

Such a beautiful shopping Centre with Pretty much everything that one needs(Your Go To Basics Centre) There's always parking available and you don't pay a fee when parking there so it is perfect for a quick in and out scenario after work.

The place is great but we went for supper at nando's here and it was the worst of the worst. Now I cant fully rate the "mall" due to what er experience at nando's cause it would be unfair. But nando's is situated there. Anyhow just bad.

Why do we have to wait in the parking to get our food when we are in a drive through? If we wanted to park we would have gone inside. Burger king never gives our ice cream cone when we order a kiddies meal. They always seem to forget.

Love shopping here. Got all the places I need. As well as a awesome music store that stocks instruments and accessories. All the basic take away places in a neat row as well. If you are ever in the area be sure to check it out …

The checkers and the medirite pharmacy at Sandown road, don't only have an extensive array of stuff for purchase, but also provide excellent service... excellent service delivery by the pharmacy manager …

Very nice shopping centre. Love Nibbly Bits and the shop that sells curry and spices, forget the name. Also White House and the Best Checkers Hypermarket Easy parking and it's free. A lovely shopping experience.

Driving a big car, I appreciate a parking lot that has had proper thought to it. The parking bays are big and there is ample space. The centre itself is clean and the trolley attendees are always helpful …

I am yet to see a below par nandos, the taste also is always on point. They recently revamped the establishment and it seems the drive thru moves very quick as well. Keep up the good work guys, and thank you.

The food is good but they just never get the order right. I have delivery and drive thru and there is always something wrong. The food is really good so going to recommend eat in where you can have it fixed

It seems like only half of the center actually has life in it, the other half is just empty. As a wheelchair user, the drain in the disabled parking is a big NO! It's a danger to the user and equipment.

Their drive thru is actually to fast for me, I'm not used to such phenomena, Food was great, Nando's a tad expensive,but hey, so is ink jet cartridges, At least you enough the meal, throuroughly.

But dissapointed in how disorganised Checkers is inside. It is like they change the layout weekly, but the shop looks a mess. Like you're moving and people visit with unpacked boxes everywhere.

My local one stop shop for all groceries. Plenty of parking, easy access in and out. Free parking. Big Checkers Hyper, wonderful coffee shop at Bread & Butter, bottle store and even a barber

Lovely shopping centre in the heart of Sandown. Has a huge Checkers, Speciality spice shop and loads more. Sandown Retail also has Burger King, KFC, Nandos and McDonald's to choose from.

It is nice except Burger King. I went there wanting to buy whoopa burger but did nto get assistance. The cashier left me to the back after serving the only customer who was in the shop.

One of the best, well stocked and we'll run Checkers stores, Mambo's is always worth a visit and lunch at KFC, ample parking and I love Bothners, the music instrument shop.

Lovely shopping centre. A lot of people seem to miss the whole one side of it because there’s no entrance and it’s not even marketed. Please do something to help that side.

Constantly disappoints. I'm tired of complaining now. This is the 3rd bad experience in the last 2 months. Chicken was terribly cooked and they did not send my full order.

I love that you can find all the fast food restaurants in one place, it's really convenient but it would be nice if some of the restaurants can be 24 hour restaurants

Eerr... They ways burn garlic rolls despite asking them in advance not to burn them. Then I return them and they do it right. But can't operate like that. Is not on.

It's a cool quick stop for some shopping but there's no standard bank ATM. Bread and butter is such a cute place for breakfast with your kiddies

Baby changing and breastfeeding facilities are inappropriate and inconsiderate. Be prepared to sit on a freezing toilet seat while feeding.

Would give 5 stars # but I can't believe as a customer one will need to pay to use a Toilet. It is most inconvenient, who carries change?

Overrated, pre cooked food almost warmed up on a grill. Not what Nandos used to be. Clever little ads won't cut the mustard....
