The staff seemed very unfriendly and helpless. We purchased our tickets in advance yet at the time of redemption there was not any staff at the ticket redemption booth, so I had to ask management who takes our tickets and he said, "just go ahead." Then during the movie we decide to purchase a popcorn and a couple of beverages. The cashier recommended purchasing the large popcorn because it's the only size that offers free refills, which isn't a bad deal when you're buying for 13 people. However, upon requesting the refill we were turned down because the staff had already thrown away the popcorn in effort to clean the popcorn machine. While I understand every business must end the workday, which involves cleaning. They should have not encouraged us to purchase a large popcorn an hour before shutting down their popcorn machine. Prior to last night's visit, I had not been to this theater for over a decade. My experience reminded me why I discontinued going back when. #Disappointed

The remodel is beautiful, I do go at least three times a month with my kiddos. The only reason why I’m giving it a three is because every time I’ve gone somebody’s cars got broken into. The last time I went which is the three dollar weekend, there was literally four trucks lined up all broken windows where they were broken into. And it was raining, their trucks were drenched. I live so close so if I do not find a parking literally right up front , I will drop off my truck at home and have a family member drop me off. I don’t feel safe leaving my truck there, I’m a single woman with two daughters, it can get a little scary knowing you can walk up to somebody trying to break into your truck and then hurting you. They should always have security in the parking lot. I don’t understand why they don’t when they know that this is an issue. It would make people feel more safe.

Never been to this Santikos theater but came for the first time the other day. Had a matinee showing, ordered some popcorn as a snack. I rate it 4 stars for a couple of reasons that I hope they get addressed: 1.) the screens on the outside where you pick up the tickets is very laggy and perhaps old(?). The sensitivity needs to be increased. Other Santikos don’t have that issue. 2.) a lot of the icee slush drinks were out of service, limiting your choices to either 1 or maybe 2 flavors. 3.) at one point during the previews, the projector went out for a few minutes, since there was audio playing but nothing on display. Not quite sure how that works, but luckily it didn’t happen during the movie. Overall I still enjoyed the experience. Customer service was good and the seats were comfortable as well.

WOW! and SO COOL! are what i can say about this theater. They did a major renovation! They got all new seats that are super wide, red leather type material. Each seat has a swing out table with a cup holder. Plus THE SEATS RECLINE!! Other cool features are that you can dispense your own popcorn! Its neater than it sounds, plus it now has those sodas machines were you can pick anything. Something else too is the cool new bar and the pizza. I already liked this theater because it was always available, centeralized for me and my family, it not busy busy, and cheaper yet comfortable to be at. Other than the selected seated (not a fan) I now love this place. Thank you Santikos!

Absolutely disgusting theater. Regals and amc wins by far. No wonder why flix is winning. I saw roaches in the concessions, theater, the building was FILLED with crickets when I got there and no one was doing anything about it. I saw a roach on the hot dog roller. Seth was great, great manager, Matt in the other hand the lead manager was absolutely no help what so ever. He should definitely find a new profession if he can’t even talk to customers correctly, and from what I’ve seen he treated his staff like trash. Seats are sticky, floors covered in butter. I’m sticking to Regal for sure. Hate Santikos’s.

My recommendation is don't come here because I love this theater so much and I don't want people to discover it it's fantastic ever since the remodel it feels very different than it used to and I miss the nostalgia of having some sort of greasy teenager hand me my ticket and not knowing what sticky on the floor when I sit on my broken seat but now they have full recliners automated just about everything a full bar a sell refilling drinks and popcorn and they usually have the limited run showings of movies if you're into any of the special event stuff fun vibe all in all

The theater has been around for as long as I can remember. It has been able to keep up with the changes movie theater's have been going through. They have recliner seats, you can buy tickets on line, you can pick where you want to sit, concessions are still expensive, but you can butter your own popcorn and fix your drink the way you want it. It's centrally located at I-10 and 410. Now it's not fancy like some other theaters but it shows the same movies and after all your going to be sitting in the dark anyway. It's a great place to go watch a movie.

My family and I loved coming to this Santikos location but never again. As we left yesterday, four cars were vandalized including my own. When asked if there was any footage we could utilized to report to the authorities employees stated a hard no. I see armed officers in other locations but none at this location. I know if this happened in another one of there locations security would been visible. I would advice to avoid this location at all cost. Really not worth the headache of dealing with your insurance company. Lost a customer.

We were happy surprised how much better this theater was then anticipated. The location is a little sketchy & I was a little nervous to park my new vehicle in the parking lot but other then that everything else was great. The seats were comfortable, The tray stands are snug that are attached to the chairs if your a bigger person. They have unlimited popcorn that you personally have access too which really helps. No standing in line again Just to get a refill during the movies. Win for the Santikos Movie Theater. ~KellyA.

Another nicely renovated Santikos theater. I hadn't been to this location in years but i think I'll add it to the list of theaters I frequent. It's in a nice quiet spot, reclining seats in the theater are very comfortable and have tray tables for your food and drinks. Also, Concession prices aren't outrageous. They have a small bar with a nice choice of drinks. Food options are pretty typical for a theater. Small arcade area located inside to pass the time while you wait for your movie to start.

The worst theatre chain, second time I've chosen this exact theatre in a year and something is wrong. This time their drink machines were down. I asked for any kind of raincheck for the movie I was going to watch for the inconvenience and nothing could be done but a refund. I'm not interested in a refund, I built my day around seeing the movie I chose. The GM was no help at all they should have signs on the door saying if they are having some kind of trouble, absolute waste of time.

Pizza could be hotter with more flavor (however these are the things we can't control). The staff was amazing, customer service was outstanding! The 9pm rush at this Northwest has always been the busiest time even when I worked there in the late 80's. The staff however was excently trained and the lines moved like magic! The reason I stick to my cinema the Northwest is because the pride they take in making movie magic for me and my family, not just this time... EVERY TIME!!!!

Love the renovation to my neighborhood movie theater! All the teenagers working here are helpful and have a smile on their face. That is a direct result of great management here. I've been to other movie theaters more than twice this size and they don't even compare in cleanliness or hospitality. Drink service stations were clean, no litter anywhere, restrooms were all stocked and everyone's attitude was upbeat. Will definitely come back! Keep up the good work!

Enjoyed the movie and popcorn and soda was tasty. 3 stars because the production manager Marry Klassing I believe that’s how it was spelt was extremely rude giving service in the concessions area. She scoffed and laughed under her breath when I asked a couple simple questions like if I get points for rewards for cheating concessions purchases. She looked like she hated her job and rather be anywhere else than there. Quit then Mary, you know where the door is.

Not on the same level as the Santiko's locations I'm used to going to (Santikos Palladium, Santikos Embassy Oaks). The exterior is very dingy...looks like it's a closed down relic from the 90's except for all of the cars parked in the lot. The inside lobby isn't any better. It's very small, making today's crowds (Barbie) feel downright crampt. Besides that, one of the Coke machines was broken and both of the Slurpee machines were closed. What gives, Santikos?

From what I understand this theater has been recently renovated. Definitely not appealing from the outside but the lobby and actual theater rooms are nice. Self serve popcorn and soda stations are cool, we went in the early afternoon so it was not busy at all. I can see how it might be more annoying waiting during busier times. Great matinee price, just under $6 for a ticket. Pretty awesome considering the theaters have such nice recliner seats with tables.

I hadn't been here since they remodeled so yeah it's been a while. Really nice. No cash cards only. You're in control of your own butter that could be good or that could be bad LOL. And they've got a bar like with liquor and alcohol. That was a surprise. The counter help was very nice ...concessions are still not the cheapest thing you can buy but it was a good selection and the popcorn tasted fresh... maybe next time I might actually try a cocktail

Doesn't look great from the outside but it's the opposite in the inside. Great and clean environment. We like to think this is our "hidden gem" as not many people are running towards this theater. They've got cheap tickets before 2PM on weekdays. Fill your own popcorn and a giant selection of drinks from just one price. Oh! Reclining seats and reserved seating are also available at the theater! You're spoiled after everything you get for the price.

Just had my son's party here they are amazing great friendly. had the whole theater for our party and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. my son had an amazing time and the staff was so nice had a smile on there face especially having about 25 or more teenagers running around getting popcorn and drinks and playing aracde games. I can't express how awesome they were in making it a special moment for my son.

Renovated theaters with the new comfortable reclining seats make the movie experience pretty awesome. Great reward system that uses your phone numbers instead of having to carry a card is fabulous upgrade. Snacks and drinks selection is tasty and plentiful. The place is well kept and clean. The security guard is unnoticeable and a slouched. This theater is not as popular which is great because you can find seats to new releases.

Out of towner here.. so this is my take after one visit. Nice and comfortable reclining seats with nice swivel-in/swivel-out table-top for your food and drink. Film presentation was high quality with high quality sound as well. The lobby was a little warm...I think the a/c was busted (thankfully not in the auditorium). Crowd and neighborhood seems kind of sketchy. Not sure I would feel comfortable here for nighttime shows.

I would give this place 0 if I could. We came to see movie that was at 3:30 when we go to there the movie wasn’t showing for that day. Drove here for no reason. We wanted to sit at the bar but it was closed. They don’t have any drinks. I will not be coming back and I don’t recommend coming here waist of time and money. Now we have to sit through movie we didn’t even want to see and no food or drinks.

Clean open area and prompt service at the concessions. I was kind of shocked when the young man asked to check my purse when I had just handed him my card to pay $53 on snacks for my mother, son, and myself. I guess in my opinion, it would make sense to check a purse of someone who doesn't purchase any snacks, not of a person who just spent that much....smh, guess I missed that memo.

If you're looking to take your family on a budget-friendly outing to a highly personal movie theatre, I recommend visiting the Northwest 14. From the purchase of our tickets, to concessions, as well as watching the movie itself, the customer service provided was kind and very professional. The theater itself was really clean too. Will definitely be back for another movie!

This is my family's favorite theater Casa Blanca is closer to us, but it's worth the drive. Even before the upgrades, we enjoyed the low key crowds, clean facilities all the games work self service drink station. Bonus is now they upgraded everything, reclining seats with trays a bar fully stocked, but they were exceptional even before the upgrades. Thanks N.W Santikos

It has since received a major upgrade in the inside. The lobby is modern and the game section is real nice, my kids enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the self serve drink and popcorn concession. The theaters are also so nice and the seats are all reclining, leather, oversized and all have a tray attached that is easily movable for easy in and out. We will definitely be back!

Badic good movie if course. I ordered the snacks popcorn through big machine where u buy your tickets. DoNT DOIT. Just get it on the counter took them 25 muns plus supposely gonna get a text message when its ready..i waitied 25 already into the movie no drunks yet or snacks..kinda stupid..so order them in person on the counter and they only take card. Lol NO CASH..

This place has really stepped up their game. I really like the new atmosphere and serving yourself popcorn refills is so much better than waiting in line. And what the drinks....... Just need the management needs to also help out as far as stepping up and helping with customer service. Moving the lines to run much smoother, your employees needs some help as well.

Pretty nice. Got pizza and a drink. Pizza was okay but comparable to cosco. The sodas are freestyle self serve, 3 of the 4 machines were down. The theater was clean with really decent recliners (standard showing not 3D). The sound was great picture was great. I like this place, last time I was here was sanJapan 2006ish? What a big difference.

Holy cow. They did a wonderful job at remodeling this place. What I like the most about this movie theater is the recliners. You get more comfortable. You enjoy a movie better. I don't think I'll ever go to a theater if it doesn't have recliners. The sound was out of this world. It rattled the whole place. That's how you watch a movie.

Their APP has a bug, when you try to make a reservation and you close the website and then you try again you can’t select the same seats because they appear not available anymore, so when we got there and try to buy the tickets there there were just a few seats free, but once in the theater it was almost empty during the whole movie.

Usually a great experience but I did noticed roaches near the drink area & restrooms!! Staff was rude & extremely unprofessional! This place has sadly gone down in quality & service very recently. Will not be returning to this theater! sad that Robbie isn’t there, things were cleaner & he was always very helpful & professional.

Great customer service and friendly. Well organized and very clean environment. Hand sanitizers are provided in different locations and even gloves are provided for when customers they fill up their own and soft drinks. The app is easy and user friendly for purchasing your tickets and for selecting the location of available seats.

I’ve been a member for 6+ years. After covid this locations customer service is gone. I typically spend $160 every time I come which is once a month between tickets and concession. No more. The manager is rude. The workers will have a conversation while ignoring you and get upset when you Walk up to get Anything. I’m done.

This theater was very nice and clean! The highlight was the Theater seating which was electric recliners with a table tray for your food and drinks! The staff members were very nice and there was good concessions to choose from and the new type of soda fountain with the touchscreen and so many different options!

**Update: Great remodeled theater! Customer service is #1. Prices are still reasonable. Would still recommend not leaving valuables in plain view in vehicle.** A low key theater with great ticket prices. Crowd isn't to huge when blockbusters premiere. Just make sure to not leave any valuables in the car.

I had not been to that theater Santikos Northwest in years, but it's a nice little theater. All the seats were the very nice recliners, and it was all you can eat with your 1st popcorn purchase. I'll be back it's not crowded, Plenty of parking and close to home, plus every purchase helps our community.

Very nice and clean. Very few people were here on my visit so we had the theatre all to ourselves. Prices were pretty competitive compared to the major chains. You can definitely see the age showing, but it sent me on a nostalgia trip so I would count it as a positive. Will definitely be returning!

Clean lobby. Theater seating area clean. Would give 5 stars but the game cards that had only 1 or 2 credits are NOT usable nor refundable. Also cannot combine them. boo need to fix this issue. Staff also jot knowledgeable to this issue. Pretty easy to figure out, if the games are 3 or 7 credits....

What a great find! First time here and I love the renovations! Small enough theaters to avoid crowds, roomy enough that you can recline your seat (legs up) and not have to adjust when others need to walk past in front of you. Same basic refreshments most theaters have which is all our group needs.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. I haven’t eaten anything since noon , come here to eat and oh guess what, they don’t have anything. I ordered pizza but no text came through . I’m so happy to starve myself all day, I will never come back here. If you want a good experience go to Cibilo

I had to put my girls bag back in the car because the guy at the door was checking bags today and they mad a bog deal with add my point to my accont for the tickets at the front. I was thinking okay these people take there jobs seriously... but then after the movie the slushy machine was down.

One of my favorite theaters to go to. It has been completely remodeled. They have a small arcade, seating to eat with TVs, a bar, recliner seating and self serve popcorn, drinks and slushes. The staff are very friendly and nice. And the theater is clean and nicely kept. Definitely recommend.

Got there, bought tickets, ordered some food, took long cause someone forgot about it on the warmer, movie was great, seats were amazing, no other issues. Theater was clean and mess free, had no interruptions during the movie, all in all a good time and got to watch great movie.

Always takes a long time at the concession stand. Then to top it off they were out of Pepsi/Coke. And limited selection of other sodas. Also take a blanket or jacket. I was in shorts and froze in the theater since they keep it so cold. But I'm in Texas so better cold than hot.

My wallet fell out of my pocket and the manager was more afraid of interrupting the person quietly and checking than my personal security and finances. I'm sure that that person word be understanding. Don't ever go here. They don't care about you, they only care about tickets

Bought tickets on their app with a little difficulty. Good to see armed security. I was unaware that the Magic Drive entrances were blocked by concrete pillars so don't try that route otherwise you have to drive to Callaghan Rd and double back along the access road.

Small but cozy has bar and arcade area .you can have a bday party. plenty of seating recliner seats and clean in general. typical movie snacks popcorn ect .when I visited there was no line.has everything a big theater has just smaller .its been my go to theater

Nice little theater that has come a long way since I remember it as a kid. Place was nice and clean and the staff seemed friendly. The seats were amazing. Lots of space between seats that could recline, very comfortable. Will be coming back again for sure!

I have been coming here with my child almost every other week as a mother and son outing together. But while watching paw of fury I dropped my phone between our seat and had the joy or touching so much nastiness under all the recliners. Absolutely filthy

The theater was clean and had helpful staff. Love the comfort their recliner seats provided. My food was delicious and made to order. Only problems were the frozen drink machine was not working and the popcorn had so much salt on it that it was inedible.

Went to see Toy Story $5.50 after the new remodel (July 2019). I am amazed! Great reclining seats, HUGE Frito pie for $8.50 (feeds 4 people), and super friendly staff. Only con is there’s a wait for hot popcorn. I’m returning this weekend for Lion King!

The theatre itself is nice. But the management was oddly aggressive when I tried to walk in with a small water bottle. I didn't understand why, until I learned they have no water fountains and charge $6.45 for a 12oz bottle of Topo Chico.

Mid week evening , hardly anyone there. Sad that there were twice as many people watching Cocaine Bears as there were people watching Jesus Revolution..... Glad theatre had upgraded the seats to reclining.. Nice remodel up grade to nice.

First time there and I loved the recliner seats. It was so comfortable that I felt asleep for a few minutes. You have a tray for your food and drinks. Very nice. Of course the snack prices are outrageous but that's at every theater.

Came in from out of town and was amazed with the hospitality shown at this theatre. I wanted to specifically write this review for Robert P. He was absolutely a delight and helped me and my fiancé find where we were going!

Wow!!! Where do I start Everytime I come in Robbie is so welcoming he has taken care of me and my child and gave the upmost degree of professionalism I will come back every time just because of how kind a genuine he is!!!

The theater is clean. The reclining seats are comfortable. The popcorn and pizza are good. The prices are decent. Sign up for rewards. You get $5 off after so many points. It can be used towards tickets or concessions.

It is very clean, like the way they take everything so seriously sanitize clean equipment and gloves are everywhere. It is the best place to go. Every time I go it is seriously Limited in people to enter each theater

This place is amazing! You get the feeling of a small business and they give back to the community The installations are a bit old but they keep them clean, the popcorn tastes good and the recliners are comfy.

Felt very welcomed by staff, didn't feel rushed through getting snacks. And the manager robbie, aww he is the best! An outgoing manager always makes the work place flow with good vibes! Will definitely be back!!!

Enjoy taking my kids to the $5 movie times, like that the theater is retro looking, refillable soda and icee. They have a loyalty program for $8 sign up free large popcorn with refill and free movie ticket.

Great theater. So spacious and lots of room to walk in front of seats if you need to get up. The chairs recline and also have a small table to slide in front of you. Will be going back to this place!

Nice and clean when we go, but wish the popcorn dispenser was on when we are there. We like layering the butter. Assume it's because we are there for the 1st show, but still have a great experience.

Never packed. Clean & cold in temp. Not warm like some theathers. Popcorn is always fresh, free Icee/soda refills. Not a fancy place, but nice. Great staff!! Only thing, no cash us accepted here.

Enjoyed movie and popcorn with family. Extremely nice concession gentleman. Very polite and mild-mannered. The movie was for kids but that's why we went with 10 and 6 yr olds to see Adams Family!

The team here at Santikos Northwest knows how to take care of their customers. They went above and beyond tonight to make sure we got to see our movie. It’s refreshing to be treated so well!

I actually liked this setup. Server your own drinks and popcorn was fun. You can only blame yourself if there is not enough butter on your popcorn now. Also, reclining seats are comfy!!!

Watched Guardian of the Galaxy Vol.3. Clean concessions. Fast and friendly staff. I look forward to the large recliners. Unfortunately mine wasn't working. Otherwise, great experience.

So from what I remember in 2013 they have upgraded this place on so many levels and it's wonderful omg the seats then self server option the theaters are upgraded and well worth 7.00

Very nicely renovated! All of the seats are leather, they recline, and have a food tray that swivels. They have a full bar too. However, they have a very limited food menu.

I had not been to this theater since the movie Independence Day came out. I was really impressed. Seats were very comfortable. Sound was amazing! It's my new spot for sure.

Went to watch Blue Beetle. Love the fact that you can fill up your popcorn as many times as you want. And you can put as much butter you want. Definitely will be back.

It's a small theater, but it's kept very clean. The arcade side is fun, not as expensive as other places. Definitely worth coming here earlier on the day, less people.

Popcorn wasn't fresh and a little burnt. Both Icee machines not working. Bathroom was messy. Quick counter service. And quick ticket retrieval.

This plane is so big. At certain hours of the day I was the only person in the theater. Very spacious and a beautiful concession area.
