Very bad customer service at Sapna HSR Store today. This was my first time stepping into the Sapna HSR store post covid with my family. From the moment we stepped in we had two to three staff in blue uniform standing very close by, literally breathing down our necks looking at what we are buying. There was a staff in regular clothes (assuming security placed there to prevent shoplifting) who was making it very obvious what he was doing there by staring at us while we were looking at stationery to buy. A staff physically followed me and my kids into every aisle at the ground floor and one staff was leaning against the counter and staring at me, which as a female shopping made me very uncomfortable. Despite the hostile environment, I went on to take a basket and fill this with some things and move on to the second floor and I was stopped by a cleaning lady in a very rude way and was told not to carry the basket upstairs. Not sure why this policy since there are no exits on the second or third floor, unless of course, they assumed I could fly through the roof with my bag of chips and coloring books (wonder woman style). I asked her where I can keep the basket and she took this from me. At the second floor we took another basket and bought stationary and books for the kids. We went to the third floor also and then came down and my first basket was nowhere in sight. I mentioned this to the cashier and expressed my displeasure and was told this was "Sapna store policy." The cashier shouted at the staff at the back to bring the basket and the basket was fished out from some corner of the store after some searching. I'm not sure why they were hiding it there. Do you need to be careful of customers or your own staff Sapna management? Also, by the way the "leaner" on the ground floor continued staring at me. Obviously that's what he seems to be paid for - make women uncomfortable. Both me and my husband work in one of the country's largest multi-national companies and surely we don't need to be subject to this kind of treatment on our day off with kids at a book store, where we should ideally be able to browse and make our purchases at leisure. This kind of harassment and bullying is not what one would expect from a Sapna and I hope actions will be taken to rectify this.

A nice addition to HSR.. the store is huge with a nice collection of books, fiction, non-fiction, kids books, School books, College Books, everything under one roof! The also have some snacks and chocolates which are some what rare. One star less because they sell books on MRP (i guess the give 5-10% discount), if you know what book you want to buy you will get it cheaper on Amazon. But i like to scroll through books, read couple of pages and than buy it. So a good place for me.. :)

I really had a bad customer service. There was error in the bill which was made by the staff. She made billing of extra 220 rs. When asked to check she made faces n called her senior staff. Later they told they cnt refund the money since it's there policy n already bill has been created and asked to purchase something for 220 rs. When told it's there mistake n not ours they were not accepting it. When i was adamant they banged the money on the table n returned us. Such audacity .

Sapna is India's biggest book mall. I would say it's more than a book mall, it's a comprehensive gift center. The collection stretches almost to endless. No matter what book you're look for, you'll find it here. It's spacious, neat and a delight to wander around in. The shop is decked as per the season and since Christmas is around the corner, it was filled with festive goods and decor. The HSR layout shop is a signature style store that caters to all the avid shoppers.

Visited Sapna Book house in HSR in Dec 2023. We were looking for some gifts for a friend. While there was a good collection of options for gifting for pens I found that a lot of pens were more than a year old. While this is not a big issue, it doesn't look good for gifting. A star reduced for the old stock, else mostly it's a great store. Gift wrapping is also available outside the store

I totally believe that people make the place. A gentleman called Ashok in the HSR SAPNA, went beyond his call of duty to help me get books that i urgently needed for giving away as prizes in a contest. Another time a person helped me with filling in my pens with inks apart from correctly advising the best ink options from my cross pens. Love the store for sure.

I had a very bad service experience at this Sapna bookhouse hsr. The price is excessive. I have taken about 6 books worth 3.5 k approx and told to give one carry bag, the billing person did not even put the books in the bag. I would surely go to another book store from next time.

Great place to hang out. But the problem is the bulky lady (no office just to identify)in the billing counter she acts like as she owns the HSR Layout and treats customers badly. When she has time she needs to read some books on handling customers.

One lady sits on Billing counters. Taken on the Books at time of Billing I ask her any discount on books , one of the ladie who will give discount on Books she laughing. I feel this is not good behaviour towards the customer
