Always had a great experience here! From my initial spontaneous visit to explore their products - which solved all of my problems and more, to account opening - which took under an hour for 5 services, and account maintenance - making it easier for me to manage my funds, the team has always been professional and knowledgeable. If this remains as is, I do expect to deepen my relationship with Scotia over time. They are certainly outperforming other institutions I do business with. Logistically, the branch is also very convenient, due to their central location. They also have a specific customer parking area and validate parking. Update: 6 months working with this branch and they're still outstanding! Everyone I've worked with here has been fantastic both when it comes to getting work done and the experience of doing so. As a result, my relationship with the bank has become quite developed.
You have this Manager by the name of Alan Paul...The gentleman is knowledgeable, patient with his customers, understands the concept of giving the customer a great moment of truth, has fantastic product knowledge and ofcourse you can see that he is dedicated to his role and enjoys what he does. The customercentricity that he has shown in handling a complicated matter is noteworthy. Kudos to your HR and the branch head as overall I have only had good experiences at the branch...There are other great customer-centric executives, special mention and thanks to Laurie, Jaya, Aria, Layla and Emily. Your talent recruitment is phenomenal. There is a reason why customers trust the brandname of Scotia and there is that inherent expectation that your genuine requirements will be fairly addressed.
Spoke to some illogical human named Randy Mahato. He was probably the most non helpful person I've dealt with in my life and he was insinuating that I should figure this out to begin with instead of calling him as he has other calls. It was such a horrible conversation altogether, we were just trying to pull our own money out which was returned with a blunt "You should have figured this out sooner, why call us now?" mixed with a frustrated and really sarcastic undertone. This guy should be fired as he might not even be fit for basic jobs with this attitude. Please escalate this up the chain to the manager if they care about Scotiabank's customer outlook at all. Wish I can give this branch 0 stars. Absolutely deplorable branch to say the least.
To be honest, Scotia Bank 2 Robert Speck Parkway Mississauga does not even deserve 1 star. The branch staff are insensitive, uncaring and restrictive. They love to harass for no valid reason. There was an urgent need for a demand draft and there was sufficient balance in the account. Account is satisfactorily operated since the beginning. However, the teller refused to issue the draft. Finally they gave a draft in the account holder's name itself which was of no use. Even the manager supported the unreasonable and wrong action of the teller. I even found their online banking cumbersome, confusing and not user friendly. For personal banking, I found Scotia services and processes not conducive. I do not recommend Scotia.

Today, however, is 22nd march 2023 almost two months. Neither she answered my calls and nor she replied me back.
I always thought of Scotia as a great bank but they disappointed me whenever I visited their branch. In 2014, when I went to open an account, I was ignored and then I went to another bank. In 2021, I again wanted to open an account with Scotia but the advice given by the helpline and the actions of the branch staff were inconsistent. The branch staff and the helpline staff provide divergent advice on the same matter and none own the same.
Probably the worst bank in the GTA! The cashiers were talking/flirting with the customers, meanwhile there was a line of customers. Honestly, it looks like they hired a bunch of sewer rats that don’t know how to use a simple calculator. Also, they were too stupid to accomplish a task that A TREE can do. Thank you Scotiabank for demonstrating your “excellent customer service” that you proudly display behind the cashiers desk
Dija screwed me up financially and tricked me into switching my great variable mortgage rate into a horrible fixed rate... Using fearful words... Costing me over $30K, just so she can move my mortgage to her branch. Be careful dealing with her if she still work here. Get a second opinion before doing business with her.
My sister got Rida Butt as her financial advisor to open up her bank account and she was amazing! The process went quickly and smoothly. She was punctual, made us feel comfortable and we had a great conversation. You can tell she honestly cared and gave my younger sister some great advice for banking as a beginner!
Thank you Scotiabank and especially the Financial Advisor Jonathan Assani! For helping my parents with there banking need and mortgage. Jonathan went above and beyond for my parents and they thank him very much. They would recommend if you need any financial needs to go to Jonathan!
Look out for Jonathan Assani, the financial Advisor at Robert spec branch. Excellent customer service, and has in depth knowledge of the products and services. Does regular follow-ups to ensure we are up to date with offers and services provided by Scotia Bank.
I was not able to cash a govrrment issued cheque for 6 days which is never held by any bank. Spoke to the branch manager, Imran Kayani, and he was of no help and gave me the presidents number when I showed my disappointment with the service.
I had queries regarding my student account. I was just standing at the front desk wondering what to do when kareem mukbel approached me. He sat me down and explained all the queries I had really well. Super friendly guy.
Service is super slow. And then the banker told me to give him 10/10 rating via email survey (Jonathan Assani) - oh no. How ridiculous. We rate you as your performance, not what you tell us to.
Counter stuff are quite knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the wait time is too long, I usually go around 4pm-5pm. May be I should try a different time.
A great bank with kind and conscientious staff who really value their customers! Have been dealing with them for decades - they are wonderful.
