I had an issue with my car, and had the pleasure of working with Amir to diagnose and resolve my issue economically and promptly. Having visited the shop to fix a supposed "ghost" issue (an issue that came and went with no patterns or trace) with my ABS system on my car, Amir was able to diagnose and pin-point the issue on the car even without any lights/error codes being present on the dash at the time of inspection. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, as he explained the issue and walked me through all the options I could take to solving the problem. His rates and prices are incredibly reasonable, and he does a quality job in all of his inspection and repairs. I also had the pleasure of meeting his staff, who were also very knowledgeable and professional. Amir and his staff were able to order and install the necessary parts for the repair on my 09 Scion XD (a particularly obscure and discontinued vehicle), within the same day and communicated with me in every step, start to finish. Even during a high volume time period during peak holiday season, Amir and his staff were on top of the repair job and demonstrated stellar professionalism and communication throughout the entire process. All in all, I am very happy with the service, prices, and hospitality at this place of business. For someone who is not from the area, I was happy to have taken my car to Scott Street Auto!

J + A are a great duo! We were on our way home to Toronto from Montreal on a Sunday when our car got a flat on the highway. Our spare was never used so the rims were quite rusty. It was a stressful moment figuring out if we could find a mechanic shop open on a Sunday. I called multiple places in Ottawa, and with ease found Scott Street Auto. Jackie reassured they close late and that they'll be able to change our spare to make it back to Toronto that night. It was a fun encounter that made the end of our road trip very memorable. If you are looking for a mechanic, I highly recommend Scott Street Auto. I cannot say enough about this place. They went completely ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us late on a Friday before the long-weekend. The mechanic looked at my car immediately when I pulled in without an appointment. We had plans to head out of town on Saturday morning and he stayed after hours on Friday to help make this happen. The price was also extremely reasonable. They have recently changed their name from Situ Auto to Scott Street Auto and their new sign has not arrived yet (Aug 2021).

Highly recommend!! Needed help with a tire issue last minute and even though they were busy, they took the time to help us out. Amir was friendly and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how we would need to install the tires in future, and what to ask for if we ended up going to a different place to install the tires. It’s not often you can say that you went to the mechanic and leave the mechanic having learnt something new, but we did! We will definitely be back.

Amir was a great help in a tough spot, he told me to come right in and then quickly and professionally diagnosed and fixed the problem without any hesitation. Took my vehicle in to have new rotors+pads installed and wheels swapped. Amir took pictures to record his handiwork on my brakes and also went out of his way to bring to my attention some unrelated DTCs that my scanner couldn't register + advised me on next steps. They are closed on Saturday but were there doing shop prep. He answered my call because he "figured it must be an emergency." They immediately sent a person out to my stalled car to try to help on-the-spot. Back at the garage the new battery was ordered and arrived within 30 minutes. I can't say enough about how great the place is.
