I am giving 1 star based on the following visit this week. I had chest pains for 3 days. Went to Scott street on Wednesday for 11:15am apt and told the dr that I had pain for 3 days and felt breathlessness I was coughing also. The dr did the temp check. The throat check and listened to the breathing check. He tells me...it's after symptoms from having the flu prior (which I think was 3-4weeks ago which I went to Scott street and was told no need for antibiotics twice) So Wednesday night I can still feel the pain I try to get some sleep. Wake up say 1ish in the early hours with excruciating pain that affects my breathing. I couldn't even move. Finally I was able to move to wake my husband up. We go to sunshine hospital and after a long wait period and X-ray...I was told that I had lung infection which was made known to me later as pneumonia! The 1 rating I gave is because the dr I saw didn't even think to give me a referral for chest X-ray even though I said the pain had been with me for 3 days already!!!! And to make it worse he clearly told me, It's not pneumonia??? I even asked him what does someone with pneumonia look like? He said they would be very breathless and can't even talk??? And in so much pain??? So with that said, I have decided to find another GP in Melton. Don't get me wrong, they have given good service previously, but come on???How could the dr miss a referral for an X-ray for chest PAIN that's lasted 3 days already? Or even 2 days??? All the Best Scott Street Medical Centre I know we all can make mistakes. But at the end of the day we All still need to make sure we are somewhere believing that they will make sure to give us beyond Great service as every life is PRECIOUS!!!!

I used to go here often. One male doctor told me after asking about weight loss, that yes I was too fat, eat less, lose weight. What a great attitude!..I did my homework and decided I did not want a mammogram, so I asked the lady doctor for a referral for a scan instead, she abused me, having a go at me for telling her how to do her job, she gave me referral and stormed out..unaware that she had abruptly ended the session, I sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for her to return. She did not return. After a hectic day in my violent job I had strong painful chest pain, so after work I went to see doctor, same doctor who abused me (mentioned above)..told her of my symptoms, my stress and the pain. She did not check any vitals and said it's not my heart. That was the end of that appointment with her. I took myself to hospital. Disgusting attitude, I am always polite but to be treated like scum by these doctors is unacceptable.

Me & my husband have both come here for a couple of years now and we love the doctors here. Especially our Doctor, Dr Golnar Azizi she has been our family doctor since we started coming here and also our work cover doctor! She’s goes through every little thing when it comes to our health! Another person who we really adore here is our favourite receptionist who always knows our names and never fails to recognise us whenever we walk in. She always says hello to us by calling our names out. You are just the best Josephina!! We love you, thank you for always helping me & Anilesh out when we need help. We recommend seeing the best doctor, Dr Azizi for all health needs and seeing the best receptionist Josephina for every other needs!! Lots of love Anilesh & Kajal!

Donna is one if the staff team, she was so rude to book or advise an appointment for my son in medical need. They had the blood test results back for my sick son and i had to know if I need to be careful about anything after the results. She was rude and aggressive and told me she cannot help with anything till Friday even after knowing my son was suffering and i needed those results. Highly unprofessional , rude behaviour i had to tell her to calm down on the phone. Shame on nurses who get aggressive and shout on parents when they themselves demand respect.. Shame Shame on scott street medical centre staff. I called back and complained to another staff as well.

You may well complain about the wait but that’s because the doctors here take the time to listen and to understand. Maybe they should time manage better, however I’m yet to find a practice anywhere else that bulk bills AND treats you like a human, not just a number. This practice ticks both boxes, is open very late so it suits working families and the doctors are compassionate and well educated. I have been attending this practice for about 20 years and have seen doctors come and go but all of them have always been great doctors who I felt weren’t just trying to get me out of the door so they could see the next patient.

I have been going to Scott Street Medical Centre for years now because it is the best medical centre out of the poor choice of medical centres in the area, it is really hard to find a decent doctor but I finally found one however she was on leave so I had to see Dr Jude, all I can say is don't book with Dr Jude because he is always running hours late, if you have a phone appointment with him you're lucky if he actually remembers to call, 3 attempts in one week and all I needed was a prescription, I can however recommend Dr Iqbal she is lovely and doesn't keep you waiting

Generally they aren't to bad. Today I had to see the doctor for some test results. I left work early to make the earliest appointment they had which was 2.45pm I arrived 5 minutes early. The doctor went and saw patients that had appointments after me. I have gone up and spoke to reception and they said the doctor is finished seeing patients now and that they need to speak to there manager. it is now 3.42pm and have spoke to me again today another doctor will see me soon dont know when? I am pretty annoyed

Worse place to go...some doc there only for medical certificate and prescription only, if you ask them anything further they will refer to specialist and you have to pay out of pocket. On website or their voice Mai all the information wrong, even their working hours doesn't match, reception staff very rude, they don't care if your little one sick or anything, if you asking appointment for tomorrow they offer next week, not even trying to squeeze time. Horrible place I have ever seen

Absolutely appalling, I made an appointment last night for a phone consultation for today and she booked it in for the wrong day. I kept waiting for a cal and then I called and she said my appointment is Friday not Wednesday!! The worst service ever the receptionists don’t even know how to do a simple task! I will changing medical centres because this is just too much and it’s frustrating, it’s not the first time that I have had a horrible experience here!

It took more than 35 minutes to wait and see Dr.Afshan. no excuse or apology from the doctor or reception. Be prepared for the delay and long wait time to see any doctor in this center. I had the same experience with another doctor last year. The Bulk Bill is the most attractive point to come to this center. Doctors are professional and caring no issue with that. But the longer wait time needs to be reduced will help your customers.

Worst medical centre ever. Doctor come to clinic whenever they want. Booked appointment for 10:15, reception said they are not aware if doc is in or not. Doc arrived at 10:30, till 10:50 we were not even called. This was actually second time. I m glad we changed our GP, we only visit this medical centre in worst case scenario as its near to place. Reception staff isn't much helpful over the phn.

Fast service, bulk billing, skeptical on the level of medical quality and knowledge from previous visits but get a new person each visit. Opening hours are a bonus, open till Late For simple issues this place seems fine, if you need to go for something more complex or troubling, I would seek out another clinic 10/10 would feel like a heart attack getting diagnosed as indigestion

The reception staff Emma is so so rude horrible customer service hangs up the phone in ur face is not willing to help patients after the reception staff made a mistake with my appointment absolutely disgusting customer service she was yelling at me for no reason and lying on the doctors be half I will also be putting in a formal complaint

Clinic did not upload my toddler’s Bexsero vaccination to my Health Record Medicare that resulted my daughter had taken the forth dose unnecessarily. The response I received from the clinic Manager Tracey was “it was out of our controls”. Based on The answer I received, I’ve found this clinic is an unreliable medical center.

Only go here if you have physical illnesses. Saw a Dr tonight who refused to give a medical certificate for anxiety because the patient who previously got treatment in pakenham/dandenong didn't have a history with them. No suggestions on how to go about anything just flat out refusal.

I had Dr. Riza she was fabulous! I got diagnosed with tonsillitis from a different medical centre, wasn't happy with the outcome and when to Scotts street, she actually listened and diagnosed me correctly! Thank you so much! Recommending You to everyone I know!

bad waiting time ,i made appointment 11.45 i waited than i cancelled it leave clinic 1,15 without seeing the doc, people came after me was seen by doctors.i didn't know were is problem at reception.or docs.any way.was my last visit.best of luck Scott st medical

This place is ridiculous. All staff are rude and inconsiderate. You make an appointment and get there 15 minutes early and people that have an appointment 30 minutes after you and walk in 5 minutes before their appointment get seen to first. It's a joke.

If u love ur candy this is the place 2 go, same as killing my husband 5 years ago handing out mixture of medications, addict meds, ones that should never b mixed as I have learnt, he went to sleep & never woke up so if u wanna die do come are these Drs.

Had a 6 pm appointment with Doctor Jude.Was told to ring at 5:30 pm to see how he was going.Was told there was 3 in front and they would call. I rang at 7:30 pm and was told there was 6 in front.They couldn’t explain how they had let people in front.

please avoid booking Dr Jude, they booked me and my daughter at 7:15 pm and told 6 people in front of us. I called at 10:45pm still they said one patient. They are not serious at all. This practice is a joke. better to go primary medical centre...

Called up to ask about their sign up process, as we moved in to the area, Spoke to a Tracey she went on to say they cant take on new patients What a Joke !! When did doctors and medical centres start limiting new patients !!! …

While the doctors here are of good quality and compassionate. The waiting times even with a scheduled booking is downright ridiculous. Still, this clinic is nice and cosy with small play area for kids and seemingly friendly staff

Good at taking the appointments. Very poor at keeping them. 40-60 min waits are my usual experience there. They overbook. That said, the medical staff are actually pretty great. Been there for stitches, and surgery aftercare.

I had a whopping cough vaccine on 27th of march and 5 weeks before and Scott street medical center forgot to add the vaccine in my immunisation. I am pregnant an i was in Joan kirner hospital today for my my flu vaccine they

I’m a patient of dr Reza best doctor you can go to. Very professional, caring, companionate and easy to talk to. I go to that clinic since 2001 and dr Sadai was my doctor. I never experienced any rudeness or other negatives.

There are some good doctors here but the one that I have a bad experience is Azizi. She is hopeless and would not trust any medical advice from her as she is incompetent and sloppy. She is all smiles but extremely fake.

Terrible service, waited over half an hours to be seen, no call to let me know they were running late. Rude receptionist who was more interested talking to her colleges then serving me. Would not go back again!

Doctors make mistakes too much with referLs and put you under stress the reception is exceptionally unhelpful and wont help you sort issues with mistakes doctors have made Betting than bulk billing doctors

Every time I ring they always say they are booked and never listen to what I have to say and just hang up on me. Rudest doctors ever if I could give negative stars I would. SHAME SHAME SHAM

Dr Azizi is a breath of fresh air. It's so hard to find a GP who is interested reception have been nicer than most places too reduced rating as have started misusing personal information

Dr was late to appointment, and we got charged for it, he booked it as a 15 minute session when it was 5 minutes, absolutely disgusting, taking advantage of people who need help

Clinic has dramatically improved, staff are quite friendly, Short waiting times in the waiting room, and they finally have really good caring and thorough Doctors..
