I used to love love love Second Cup. But I dunno what’s happened in the past couple years but literally every single time I’ve ordered a latte, it’s weak as hell in flavour! Clearly not using a dark roast and skimping on the grind and not pressing it tight prior to drip. As a coffee fanatic, I know they are clearly cutting corners to reduce their costs and willingly giving substandard product to customers. I’m fed up with having to ask for my espresso to be made properly. Only time I got it with any flavour was when I ordered on Uber Eats and left instructions on using dark roast and to properly pack the grounds before drip. So disappointing. Customers should never have to specifically request for a coffee to be made correctly. I also love that the owners seem to respond to only select reviews to make up for the issue. I have received no correspondence of any kind while others have. Consistency in this company is long gone

i am a little disappointed with my last two orders that i ordered there today. i usually order a large caramel coretto latte which comes hot. i have never had issues with my order in the past, only today. both times that i ordered, it was iced lattes. i ordered through doordash, and again this was the only time i have had issues. i tried to give them a call to see why this was happening when it clearly says Latte Caramel Corretto, and not Iced Latte Caramel Corretto. upon receiving my order, i had double checked my receipt to see if maybe i perhaps punched it in wrong but nope i had punched it in as i have always done in the past. other than today, my experience has always been good and i’ve always gotten what i’ve ordered. if they didn’t have an item in stock, they would refund the items as well.

They had all the basic Second Cup products and plenty of staff who are all very polite and trying to do their job but unfortunately they were struggling with second cup's POS (point of sale) system which wasn't functioning properly creating delays and frustrated customers. I really felt bad for the people working at this location for having to deal with this. Second Cup HQ needs to do something about that instead of endlessly lamenting their declining sales and dwindling locations throughout Canada.

The girl with glasses was incredibly rude. I ordered a caramel corn latte, but I received a nasty iced coffee instead. When I mentioned that I had requested a latte and this one lacked foam, she responded rudely. Frustrated, I discarded the coffee and decided never to purchase from this store again. The iced coffee tasted awful, made with reduced-fat milk and lacking cream or an espresso shot. Sometimes, when I order online a specific muffin, they change my order without asking me.

It's a little hole in the wall cafe area. The baristas are nice. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes the pastries are stale and sometimes they are fresh. Same with the coffee. There is a cramped seating area, and a comfy area in front of a mock fireplace that is never on, not even during Christmas when it's most festive to have it on. Maybe they'll turn it on if asked? I don't know. They have interesting seasonal products. There's never a long line up.

I have no idea who you are hiring. The girl there this afternoon with glasses so rude. Snapping at all customers, talking to us like we are stupid for asking a question. I was there when 3 customers went through there. All of them she was rude to. Acting like we were bothering her for going in there. I will take my business to Starbucks.

Almost any time I use an online app you guys can't seem to send out confetti squares. I just ordered a confetti square and recieved a nanimo bar instead. Maybe your staff needs better training. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered from here in hopes to receive one of these desserts and get denied everytime. It makes me wonder if my drinks are being made right too. Disappointed and I won't be back.

I always prefer second cup. But this time, the customer service and the coffee too, were at their worst. I ordered a caramal iced coffee, they served it without foam and I clearly told them to put it on. They just ignored . And the coffee was like a glass of muddy water. Tasteless Moreover, they charged me $9.30 for that with a muffin of $2.5. This is not fair at all. I didn’t expect this from you:(

The personell are great. Your prices are ridiculous. I have been arrending the KP coffee shop for 15 years. My friends (7) and Us spend easily $100 per week. Yesterday my wife Pearl and I paid $14 for 2 bagels, cream cheese and 2 med coffees including tax. I could buy that just up the mall for $10. Love your place but bei g a senior I dont like it that much! Im a local writer.

We always have a green tea when when in the mall, this time the green tea is not good it test just milk and water they use the green tea bags not sure if my oreder was wrong or they changed they make different beafore and was really green. Was not good enymore.

The service here is pretty good, the baristas are friendly, and everything was clean & tidy inside. I have had a fantastic Flat White here in the past, but their pumpkin spice lattes & pumpkin spice frappes aren't good (putting it politely). Not a bad place to grab a cup of coffee, but I would choose a different option in the future.

The girl who served us and left at 445pm Oct 15th 2022, was terrible. It was like we were such a bother to her when she took our order. I would never hire her for any services like second Cup. She should find a new job, not one in the service industry.

This place has the rudest servers. No garbage can as required but law. We were poorly served and told to clean our table but to take our waste out into the mall the tables we not cleaned. We were long time customers but have given up with them.

Ordered a coffee that did not meet expectations, I think we need to better train the staff who make the coffee.

This one is inside Kildonan Place Mall. It's pretty small. Their selection of drinks isnt bad but they do have some nice dessert items. Unfortunately, I have to say that I would still choose Starbucks over Second Cup.

Coffee is decent, nice selection of blends. Not a lot of options as far as modifying their standard beverages (milk substitutes etc). Baristas not always the most helpful at finding you a suitable alternative.

My go to place for fresh coffee. Beats other options in the area. Great customer service and great tasting coffee. Dairy free, sugar free options available. With most coffees being naturally flavored!

What a great little shop! I usually get a London fog and it’s always wonderful- the staff are friendly and helpful too!

I asked for a Tuxedo Mint Frocho. They just gave a regular chocolate drink. The tuxedo mint was supposed to have chocolate syrup and candy cane sprinkles. Bad service.

Love the second cup and what a large cup. You need 2 hands. Free today in conjunction with opening of the new wing at the mall. Always good looking food too.
