This bank has normal bank hours, which, alright, I can make time for that or use the ATM. I've probably had to use the ATM outside of business hours less than a dozen times over the past few years, and it has been out of order at least 6 of those times. I don't know if I'm just unlucky, they're just unlucky, or they're not competent enough to schedule/hire/train/get an ATM technician. Maybe they outsource that service to a sub-par or understaffed company. I'm done giving Security Bank the benefit of the doubt with less than a 50% rate of this bank being any use at all to me. The last time the ATM here broke down I drove to the next closest Security Bank on Mission which also had an out of order ATM, and ended up having to go to a third, then fourth Security Bank to find an ATM. All on the same day! If it wasn't for that they'd get 2 stars for having a good staff inside when you go in, but that was over the top.

Poor customer service. It always amazes me how little these tellers want to do here! I give checks to deposit with the deposit amount on an envelope. They refuse to fill in the amount on a deposit slip and then and then ask for photo ID to look up my account. The checks all have company name on them and say deposit only. No need to make me jump through all these hoops ladies! I’ve been coming here for 8 years. Time for a new bank. Edit: bank manager called Day after I posted this review. He apologized for the poor service and said he would talk to his tellers about it. He even offered and sent me deposit slips at no charge to help speed the process for the next time. So while I gave an initial 2 star I have revised to 4 star. They worked to fix their poor service and I appreciate that! Thank you.

I went to the Ward Parkway branch to get a lien release for an automobile title. Because we didn't know why the lien was on the title to start with, the Manager and the assistant Manager both assisted me with this issue. They were both absolutely delightful to work with. It been a long time since I've had that much fun in a bank. I was thinking this would take a day or two to resolve, and they made a few phone calls and waved a magic wond, and I was out of there in about 15 minutes!! Thank you very much. P.S. My parents are small business owners and had to switch from plaza loc. To ward parkway. Since then, my parents have not had a single transaction go smoothly. this banks management and customer service is down right hostile, rude and disrespectful at every chance. On top of all of that, the security guard thoroughly creeped my girlfriend out by unashamedly staring at her the entire time she was in the building. Not to mention the numerous times that me and my parents have been harassed by the security there as well.

Mesha helped me open my account, she was incredibly nice and helpful... the other ladies there are cold and rude. One wouldn't let my 3 year old use the bathroom when she was literally crying because she needed to go last year and they honestly seem annoyed by your very presence every time. Thinking of switching banks because of the completely unwelcoming feeling I get when I go in. This is the closets location to my house and there are plenty of other options near by.

Shout out to Meshia...I recently lost my debit card. I went to to bank over my lunch hour, Meshia greeted me immediately; she was very friendly and supportive of the situation. The problem was solved within a few minutes. Thank you so much Meshia and Security Bank of Kansas City for excellent customer service!

Fraud was suspected on my debit card so I chose to freeze the debit card until I could get to try he bank. Went to Ward Pkwy. branch and within minutes Meisha had me set up with a new debit card. Not only that, she showed me how to bank online . Thank you Meisha! You’re the best! .

Worst experience ever. They ask for social security number even though I’m an international student. I felt the manager displaying passive aggressive behaviors and felt disrespected so I got out. She seemed a rude person who wants to get rid of customers with bunch of excuses.

Needed a new card due to some fraudulent charges got there a little early but once inside they wasted no time getting me a temporary card and back to doing what I was before hand aka quick, simple, and welcoming.
