Went in for a full colour and a haircut recently, the staff were friendly and they checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was doing ok. The colour turned out pretty well. The hair around the tip of my scalp was a little lighter than the rest of my hair but overall it looked good. The hairdresser was a bit rough with her nails while washing my hair but that's not a big deal. The reason I gave a two-star review however was mostly due to the haircut. I gave the hairdresser a reference photo which after having a quick look she seemed to know what to do. It was a shoulder length with minimal layers and 'airy' Korean style side bangs. I had used the same photo in the past with great results. We also had a quick chat about not doing too much layering because I stated that my hair is frizzy and wavy so it'd look thickier than it already was. Unfortunately she cut patches of the outer layer hair much shorter than shoulder length for layering, and now I have a very obvious layer of short hair curling outwards or sticking out unless I straighten it. She also gave me heavily chopped side bangs that looked nothing like the reference photo. The best way I could describe the end result after she styled it is those 2000s hairstyles with spiky layered hair that curled out. Honestly I was quite distraught by that point and was really surprised they'd let that hair walk out of the salon. After giving it some thoughts I don't think it was on the level of a disaster haircut, but with $240 for a very disappointing experience, I can definitely pay a similar price at other premium Korean hairsalons and get a much better result.

Made a booking for 1.45pm for my daughter (2.5 years) and I. Was quoted $25 for my hair cut and $10 for my daughters trim. Upon arrival (I was asked if I had appointed and then we waited 15 mins before I asked how long it would take). He said half an hour. So I told him I'll come back. When I came back they were cutting other people's hair ahead of me and had to wait a further 30 mins to be attended to. They attended to my daughters hair first (which took less than 5 mins to trim a little of the fringe and back to even it up. After that I had to wait a further 10 minutes for my hair to be washed and another 15 mins for my hair to be cut. All up we waited 1.5 hours. When we went to pay they charged full price for my daughter even though we were quoted $10 for her trim. They said she had a full "haircut" not a trim. If they were going to charge full price then i would have had her hair cut properly and not just a trim. Waiting 1.5 hours was bad enough. But then charged full price for a trim and no apology for making me wait is ridiculous. POOR service, LACKS organisational and communication skills and LESS than average hair cuts. I would recommend trying elsewhere before this place.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! I went for a simple faded mens haircut. I even showed him the photo of the haircut I wanted. The place was totally empty so i though he would not rush. He looked at the photo for 2 sec then went about cutting my hair. 10 mins later he was done. My haircut was no where near what I wanted. I even told him that my the back of my head look like it has a huge bump. He was like no your hair is curly cant cut much, too short not good.... with a sinking attitude. Didn't even try to explain why he don't want to work on it anymore the store being totally empty he didn't have any other job to do. That being said i will not be visiting them anymore.

This Korean speaking Lady in a red checked shirt was very unprofessional and unhelpful. She seems to speak good English but somehow has some difficulties understanding what I said? Didn’t keep the length i wanted because she said it’s better that way? Constantly chatting in Korean with her friend in Korean while using a clipper on my head and turning her hair around to look at her friend. Probably why she had to cut it short cuz she made a mistake while chatting to someone else. Just focus on what you should be doing and stop shouting in another language to another person, and be honest with your customers

I used to come here every time I heed a hair cut. First time was good I thought I keep trying since they give me a loyal card to get 10th cut for free. But as I continue to go for a hairs cut there its get worse each time. The last time I was there they suppose to give me my 10th free hair cut but they took my full stamps card away and giving an empty card stamps as I asked about it she explain to me things which I didn't understand. Now a day I cut at Springvale so much cheaper and better cut each time. They even giving me free hair clean and head massage.

I was silly enough to go back consecutively over the past three months thinking it was only the one staff that had no care factor. Sadly all three times my experience was rushed, impersonal and careless. I would find multiple long strands of hairs that were not levelled when getting a disconnected hair cut (no. 1 cut on the sides). It's a shame really, lots of potential as they were polite. But when they are charging the same as other places but with significantly less quality I can't justify going back.

Fantastic place! Came in for a quick cut since I haven't cut my hair in about forever - but such nice people and great service. My hair was dead so had to do a big chop, but they managed to still use the reference style I wanted, just shorter. Planning on going in much more often now. Next time for one of the cool treatments they had on offer. Very reasonably priced, as I'm used to long hair being costed upwards of $100 at other places. Great place, highly recommend! Glad I found a new hairdresser.

I was having good experience before in this store, but not anymore since my last visit, waiting for one hour on my chair doing nothing before I was attended, I could have leave a lot earlier. I didn’t mention anything to them but the male manager even showed me bad attitudes on that day, completely impolite. The worst is they let me know the perm I am doing has a price increase after they started, I have no choice to say no…

I had a great experience at Sena Hair Korean Studio, the staff are friendly, professional and have reasonably priced cuts. Especially Joe who styled and cut my hair today was fabulous. He took the time to listen to how I wanted my hair to be styled and cut; he did it exactly the way I wanted it to be done. I recommend Sena Hair Korean Studio to all who are looking for a good hairdresser.

My one and only visit!!! I went in with long hair, I showed the girl a photo of a simple layered cut below shoulder level. An easy cut. She did no layers and cut it just touching my shoulders. It's flat and boring and aged me 10yrs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Also, even though I complained and told them they didn't even come close to doing what I asked they still made me pay!!

Joe the owner did a very good cut on my wife hair from medium to short with a bit of curls this morning. He is very detailed and handle with care from wash to cut and very friendly. The shop is clean and tidy. The price is reasonable for a professional cut. Definitely come back for haircuts and styling. Easy to book over the phone. Thank you Joe and the team.

The haircut I received was amazing. They truly put great care into cutting my hair to perfection. Their customer service is also fantastic, they are so lovely. However the haircut was $10 more expensive then originally quoted with no real explanation. If you don't mind paying extra for a great haircut, I would recommend this place !

Unfortunately had the worse experience with Sena. I had Keratin Straight Treatment from them and they said my hair would remain straight for 3 months, after a week I had my first wash and my hair was back to normal wavey and fizzy. Though they refunded 50% which wasn’t enough. I will recommend DO NOT take their Keratin Treatment.

One of the best haircuts I've had and at a very reasonable price. Heyti was fabulous, so lovely and listened to what I was after. She helped me to find some examples from their style books. Quick but not rushed at all and she always checked throughout that I was happy with the progress. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The men was bit rough when combing through my hair and hurt and rough at ending , my hair looks a bit messy after blow dry which it shouldn't be, as he want to quickly moving to next customer and leave cutter hair over my face , not very good experience will not go back , there are plenty of hair dresser and good ones

One of the best barbers I've been to, very fast haircuts and he makes it easy to communicate what you want. The prices are the most reasonable I've come across for the quality of work. If your looking for good barber stores in the area, I highly recommend you spend your money nowhere else!

My hubby love it here! A cut and wash was $30. The head massage by the big man's hand was superb. Definitely worth experiencing. Once, when they were almost closing, my hubby turned up and they still cut his hair for him. Great customer service and very proper stylish haircut. Thumbs up!

I had a great experience here on Wednesday morning. Joe is an incredible talent and the entire service he provides is an absolute delight. I couldn't be more happier than this, he done his job very nicely. Very highly recommend this fabulous man.

Unprofessional, overly priced and I doubt if the lady in there know a decent hair cut. I asked for a basic trim and she had a blank confused face though explained clearly. Had a very bad experience. Was very upset and will never go again.

Price increased without notice. He rushed and spent only 10 mins on my hair and charged $35 and shampoo service was just skipped. Didn't get any explanation. And it's so pricey for man hair cut compared to usual men hair cup price.

JO did an awesome job, he is warm and welcoming was very busy today better book an appointment, but still due to covid restrictions u may need to wait a bit. Only for double vaccinated and 5 customers inside at a time.
