Would I go back here again? Yes. Would I have the same guy who did my feet and back? Absolutely not! Pros :) -Prices! I was able to get a 20 minute foot message and 20 minute back massage for $40. I haven't found prices like this anywhere. -No wait -Friendly -Sanitary -They accept cash -Conveniently near many attractions -Easy street parking Cons :( -The people here speak very little English. -The guy I had did a good job, but applied way too much pressure. I won't post his picture, but he was the tallest/bigger Asian man without the glasses. -My foot massage was an 8 out of 10. Started off great, but one of his gloves broke and his hands felt rough. I tried to zone it out and focus on the pressure applied with lotion. Lowered my final score to a 7 out of 10. -My back massage started off as a 9 out of 10 and felt incredible. I then had to lower it to a 6 out of 10 because he started to apply too much pressure and his hands started to feel like a knife poking around my back. It was so painful. -While getting a massage he tried to really make my back crack and I felt like I was at a chiropractor. Some of the pressure was unnecessary, but my back eventually did pop a few times. -It is currently pass the 48 hour mark and my back is still sore after Tylenol and Icy hot. -I really disliked the pressure to tip more. I left a $10 tip which in my opinion was great, but they kept pressuring me to give more by pointing at the tip sign. I think they wanted more because I gave them a $100 bill to start off with. I did cave in and give a $20 tip because overall the massage was so inexpensive, but my advice would be to already have in your mind what you want to tip and don't allow them to guilt trip you! I would visit this spa again, but would probably get a lady instead of a man.
Foot massage was pretty good but didn't really hit the spots I needed. I tried to give a bit of direction to tell her where I was sore but it was clear she didn't understand me and instead of asking someone else's help in translating she just kept going and barely acknowledged me. My friend and I both got a back massage after and it was so rough and rushed that we ended up leaving sore (the next day I could barely move my neck). My face was so squished into the table, I was basically biting the inside of my bottom lip the whole time. Instead of communicating and asking if the pressure was ok or something like that, all they did the entire time was laugh and talk amongst themselves loudly. No consideration for people trying to relax. To top it off, I asked at the beginning if they take cards and they said yes, but at the register they said it would be an extra charge. I ended up taking it out of their tip I was so annoyed by this point. Sad thing is, I was in a hotel closeby for 4 days and would have loved to come back every day. I have a hunch that they're used to one-off customers passing through town which is why they don't put in much effort. My recommendations to them: slow down and communicate.
It's a 1 minute walk from The Roosevelt where I was staying. The seating for the foot massage is very comfortable. The front door is kept open and the cold breeze comes in and it's very cozy. I went twice and the massage was very thorough and pain relieving. An hour foot massage was $65, and with a 20% tip ($13), so all in it was $78 for an hour foot and ankle massage. They'll offer to have someone massage your hands, shoulders, neck, and temples for $12 for 10 minutes if you choose. It was extremely nice to have 2 people working on you, and it definitely helped me get lost in the massage for 10 minutes. You'll hear street noise, and them advertising their massages. But it's not terrible to be honest and it comes with the location, which overall is fantastic.
The massage wasn’t what I expected, I get messages on a regular basis. My wife had to ask several times for a deep message instead of just rubbing her feet. They actually got a attitude because she asked for a deep tissue. We got 30 minutes feet and 30 minutes on the back. Once they finished we felt they only earned a minimum tip, they actually tried to pressure us into giving a higher tip, mind you we paid for the service. On the way out the door they all talked about us in there language. I don’t recommend this place…
Stopped in randomly after a long day of travel. I got the foot massage & my gf got the table for her back - ankle to neck. Had this done in Taiwan so I knew what to expect. If you're looking for a "serious" massage, skip it. But for general relief after walking around The Quarter... this is the place to go. Staff was fun and friendly, massages were so good... we WILL be here every night. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you need to take the day's edge off!
My feet and back were the casualties of a lot of walking on and around The French Quarters. We found this spot and got the 40 minute foot and back massage. When I awoke from my Coma, I was ready to hit the New Orleans streets, this place is a hidden secret. The only detractor was the massuses were talking loud that made it difficult to relax.
Awesome place, very reasonable prices. Both ladies and men masseuse available. Foot massage is highly recommended after a day of walking Bourbon Street. Rejuvenate your evening with at 10 or 20 minute massage. Well worth the time…sacrifice that one drink for being able to spend a whole night on the town.
Got a 30 minute massage here after walking around the French Quarter in new shoes like a fool. This was a much better massage than I got at a different spa, the masseuse really dug in and I felt so much better afterwards. Heads up that they prefer payments in cash over card.
Had a 30 minute massage with Mimi, she was very friendly and paid attention- made sure to check in with me to make sure I was doing alright. I haven't had many massages before but I was really tight before and felt more relaxed afterwards. Would definitely recommend.
After a long day of walking, my partner and I decided to get our feet massaged here based off the reviews we saw. They were actually legit and will definitely come back the next time we come to NOLA. Definitely recommend stopping by here.
The massage and service was excellent, the lady had really soft hands and it was very nice, the only thing is at payout I gave less than 20% of tip and they nearly made me pay 20% when tip is voluntary, so I didn’t like that
Heck yes. Very welcoming. My bf and I were very happy. We come to these little places not expecting a great massage. This place was really good. Would definitely come back. Phlen was very strong and didn’t mess around.
Super massage ! Mon amie et moi avons choisi la formule 20 min foot massage. Très relaxant, et les masseurs étaient très professionnel. J’ai même eu le droit à une recommendation d’un livre d’un autre client …
Perfect way to end my trip and one of the best messages I’ve had! I can tell the masseuse used a lot of energy to help get rid of my knots and kinks. Would definitely recommend and come back when I get the chance!
Speaks very little English and I had to ask for deep tissue 2 times but never received anything but light rubbing which only agitated me. I am making an appointment with a male therapist in the quarter
We just went for 30 min foot massages ($32+tip) and they were really great. Good pressure, quality massage, friendly staff and not pushy at all. We will be back daily during our stay here for sure !
Everyone was very kind and helpful. We both had the 30-minute foot/leg massage. They worked our kinks I didn't even know I had! The pressure was perfect for both of us. We will definately go back!
Price is great - they don’t really speak English well so make sure to tell them what pressure you want before they start! You can tell them during to change the pressure as well. Would come back.
Came here 3 times during vacation. They did a great job digging in and are worth the money. Most places are a buff and shine and you get very little therapeutic relief. Will definitely come back!
Omg the massage prices are so affordable and reasonably priced.. I suggest if you come across them while walking down Canal street that you stop in and get one.. You'll thank me later
Great massage. I was too exhausted after a weeklong conference. So glad to find this place! They are pro and price s are cheap as well! $60 for 60 mins. Will recommend to my friends!
This exactly what we needed at midnight post all that partying and walking around all day: A foot massage! We took 20 mins each and slept like a baby right afterwards.
My therapist applied firm pressure and relieved all my train travel stiffness. Every employee I spoke with was very friendly, and the prices were very good.
Asked for chair massage.. neck and shoulders were killing g me after work . They have a chair but seems sh never used it .I would try a diff place 0
very clean environment, sweet staff. Massage felt very nice they removed all my toxic-ness in my body. 10/10 def going back.
Wow! Excellent. Very nice presentation and wonderful massage. 60 min foot/calf massage well worth it. Recommend highly.
Just had the most amazing foot job from here. I feel like I’m walking with a brand new pair of feet. Thank you!
Excellent! Clean, comfortable, skillful foot massage. No pressure for extra services. Definitely coming back.
I go here at least once a week they really know their stuff..they really have you feeling rejuvenated..
Best massage I ever had the lady damn near cracked a new part of my back I feel brand new …
Great Foot Massage. Was going to do 30 min but I increased more as it felt so good.
Had neck pain for months and after a 30 min massage it's gone. Feeling so loose.
Enjoyed every bit of my massage after walking around all day. MUCH NEEDED!!!
Highly recommended. Great foot massage before you hit the strip. Excellent!
44$ including tip for 30 minute table massage. Very. Knowledgeable staff
Had a 30 minute massage, I needed it to gain some strength and energy.
My massage felt really good. Thank you for making me feel relaxed.
Got right in. 10 minute massage on each foot was totally worth it.
