I went to this school from 2010-2016. Idk about the staff now but almost all of them sucked. I had a learning disability that was undiagnosed. My handwriting was sloppy and spelling was not great. A teacher I had in the third grade grabbed my note book started yelling at me about my spelling and made the class try to read it. Of course this was verry embarrassing and I remember it to this day! Her name was Patricia Smith. But there was one staff member that always wanted the best for us. I am transgender and she was the best most helpful women I ever knew! She still has an impact on my life today. This amazing educators name is Catherine Maniville!
Amazing school! They have to be the best academically, I have two kids that go here, one in REKSAP and the other in Senior Kindergarden and they're developing incredibly quickly. The teachers are awesome and the Principle Mr. Jamal seems to know every student by name and always knows how they're doing. They go above and beyond for their students, they always have extra clothes in case the kids get wet from playing outside, they have a breakfast club , Pizza days, Spirit days, and much more. Would definitely recommend.
I went here in the early 70's I had some amazing teachers and I loved singing in the choir. Mrs Pitters did that and played the recorder in Mr Wright's class. Mr Mathers was there for me when I was going through a rough time.
One of the worst p.s too put your child. Very deceptive and underhanded staff go beyond there job as educators. Have no clue in dealing with kids with behaviour issues. I would not recommend this school to any parents.
Great school with great teachers, especially love the REKSAP program - we're lucky to have it.
I went to school here like 12 years ago and go into so many fight
