This all started with an Uber Eats order on Sunday Oct. 15th. I ordered a poutine and tuna poke bowl. What I received was a poutine and tuna poke CHIP appetizer. It was all very good. We did eat it all at the time. I then left feedback, an image and rating in the Uber Eats app for Shark Club. The next day I received a follow-up from the Head Chef, Rachit Vig, via the Uber Eats app and email. His message (some info redacted): "Hey Darren, Thanks for letting us know about the issue. As per your description, you got Our Tuna Poke appetizer and not the Bowl. That must be an issue on our execution side. I am sending you a $6.00 credit here for future orders; also, could you come and pick up a bowl one of these days (if you are still in Calgary) and call me when you are here at xxx-xxx-xxxx. My name is Rachit Vig and I am the Head Chef here. Looking forward to hearing from you." I called Rachit and had a quick conversation with him. Again, I expressed my disappointment but that the food was still very good. He apologized again and asked that I come in for a the proper tuna poke bowl. So I went down to Shark Club on Monday Oct. 16th and spoke to the hostess. She got the manger / bartender at the time. She was aware of the situation. 10-minutes later I walked out with the tuna poke bowl. YES, it was awesome. Shark Club could have just issued a credit (as they did) and called it a day. Instead they (Rachit) went above and beyond and gained my confidence again. I'll definitely be ordering again. They've won this customer back. I wish more restaurants had integrity and pride like this.

I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Our group came by around noon and there was about 8 of us. We came on Nov 23rd to watch football all day. We had a goal to have fun but the service was horrible, we had to flag down the waitress multiple times to get our drink orders and food orders. The place was literally empty and all the servers, bartenders and I think the on shift manager were hanging out talking or on their phones. The sound for the football games kept switching between the radio and the game or the staff would switch the channel even though our group and other groups in the restaurant kept complaining to them. Several groups left due to this service. We continued to stay because we made the best of it and there was draws prizes. However we found out this was also rigged because we could see the servers giving out additional ballots to their friends or regular clients. We received one ballot each and we were a group of 8 who spent more money than one regular customer. That regular customer I believe Don was his name won 3 times plus the grand prize of a TV as well. Even though we were told that once you win you're no longer eligible to win additional prizing. When we asked about clarification we were told it's because he was there since noon which we were too and I bet we spent a lot more than he did. This was so disappointing especially because we come there alot and we have a tradition of coming there for our football games. I can tell you now my party and I will never be coming to shark club in Barlow again. And I really hope some coaching is done for your staff because you lost more customers that night.

Came in with a group on Friday the 17th. We were told that there we will be charged an automatic 18% gratuity because we were a group of 10, which is normal. However the service we were given from our server was very poor. She did not introduce herself, did not know the menu, failed to check the food prior to it being set onto the table (some of which had to be sent back because the quality was poor) and our food going to a different table. We literally had to beg for our water to be refilled. I also witnessed another server coming out of the kitchen with her fingers in her mouth, picking her teeth, touch the computer and then proceed to give service to another table. Absolutely disgusting and inappropriate. When we were ready to leave our server had split the bills and brought them to the table. I had said that I was going to pay for myself and my spouse so I'd like the bill together but her exact response was "well I've already printed the bills separately so you can just pay with your card twice." Is this the quality of service we get for an automatic 18% gratuity? I will never be back.

My wife and I stopped here for our first time on a rare night without the kids. I have to say it will probably be out last time too. The service was absolute garbage. Server came to us once basically to ask out order. Another person brought out our food about 30 mins later even though there was only 6 other customers in the place. My wife couldn't get a refill on her pop without having to go to the bar and ask for it. The roast beef dip I had was absolutely disgusting. It was swimming in Oju, gravy was cold, fried were like warm at best and the roast beef was half fat. The staff sat at the table by the kitchen with a hand full of other people swearing out loud so unprofessional. 15 mins after we sat down the bartender said they were going to do a draw for a jersey for Thursday night. I asked how I could get in on that? All I got was " too late" ok I guess that's that then. First and last time we come here. 22$ on a meal I couldn't even finish.

The $25 Keg of Nachos size sounded good and the “1LB of cheese” convinced my partner he needed it but... Overall the nachos appeared to be pretty massive but that’s largely due to the huge steel keg top which they are served on. They were kinda like described, but if you look at the picture you will be hard pressed to notice any green peppers and dice tomatoes, there wasn’t even a handful of them combined on the entire dish, combined with the tablespoon of feta and 20 jalapeño slices decorating the top. As for the 1LB of cheese, not even close. There’s no way even a half pound of cheese is on these. Possibly the most sparsely topped nachos I have had at a restaurant ever. The only good part was that they used good chips and the jalapeños were ripe. Overall, extremely disappointing. I has some sort of noodle bowl dish which was ok. It was flavorful and spicy, send to be good quality food although I did find the chicken a big tough.

Came here as mine and my boyfriends hotel was close by and were amazed at how great this place was. Our server Jessica was just an all around great person. She suggested I get the spaghetti and meatballs and was definitely not wrong. My boyfriend got wings to start and the spicy chicken sandwich and loved both. The drinks were amazing, the service was fast, the atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming from everyone working. Coming from Edmonton, will definitely come back here next time we are in Calgary. The manager Hayden came and talked to us and was super sweet. Highly recommend trying this place rather than going to the typical Earls or Joeys in the area. You will not be disappointed

I stopped by Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill last week and had a great time. Jenneh, our server, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our visit was enjoyable from start to finish. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Burger and the Honey Garlic Wings, and both were delicious. The chicken had a nice kick of flavor, and the wings had a perfect balance of sweetness and garlic tang. The food arrived promptly and was served hot. The ambiance was lively, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff, including Jenneh, seemed genuinely invested in ensuring everyone had a good time. I'll definitely be returning soon to enjoy more of the relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, and excellent service!!!

My sweetie and I had the most inviting experience here! The cherry cheesecake jar is a must! We also had the pleasure of being served by a pretty girl named McKenzie? Or Mackenzie? One of the two variations of that name. Anyhoo, she was telling us about how she walked her dog before shift and had a heap of homework to do after! Good for her- to be working hard AND going to university. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and very witty with her jokes which made our stay that much more fun! I may be biased but the bartender, Rohan, is an absolutely amazing bartender. I always sit at the bar (here and other places) to work from 'home' on my laptop and these past few months I've noticed how much care he puts into his guests as well as his wide knowledge of drinks. He has recommended my go-to favorite dish (the noodle bowl) the first time I visited and it has become a craving. He's never made me a bad drink and has even elevated some of my usual drinks to a point where I refuse to order them from anyone else. The other guest who sit at the bar seem to enjoy his service too as I see a lot of familiar faces choosing to sit at his bar and seemingly, they love him as well. 10/10.

I recently came into Shark Club with a friend of mine to try it out, and was so pleasantly surprised!! We were served by Mackenzie, and we couldn’t believe how fantastic she was! She had a big smile on her face the whole time despite having many other tables to cater to, which was such a standout for us. She came over to our table many times throughout the hour and a half that we were there and made sure we were taken care of. I haven’t been to a restaurant in a long time where I’ve felt that way! Went for a corporate event. Ordered from the regular menu. The food was absolutely subpar, I had the roast beef dip, the beef was very tough, was no seasoning, au jus was also too salty. The fries were the saving grace. My wife had the poutine with chicken added, the chicken again was bland, there was no cheese curd to find. The saving grace was the ambience and the service but the food was a huge disappointment.

The upholstery was in great condition - no tears or rips, etc. There was only a handful of customers, understandable given time and day. We wouldn't actively plan to return, but wouldn't cross it off our list either.

Do not get the Poke if you love poke. It was adequate. It’s missing a topping such as crunchy onions and sauce (other than the minimal sriracha) and didn’t understand the canned mushrooms. Had an absolutely wonderful night! One staff member stuck out to me most, Rohan. Great guy! He provided such excellent service and truly made dining out worth it. Feel like staff at a lot of places just don’t put in much effort anymore. Rohan was truly the epitome of customer service. 10/10 can’t wait to come again!

Service was great, Mackenzie helped us out a lot throughout the evening and she carried over a very positive vibe. Very conversational and efficient throughout the entire night. This place gave me real weird vibes. We were there on Wednesday for the wings and the waitress treated us like we were doing her a favor to come there even though the place was empty 3 pm. I also asked her twice to make sure she marked us for the opentable and she still didn’t do it. One plate was absolutely dirty with the food stuck to it. I will not be back

Kali is by far one of the most hardworking servers I know. Her energy every time Im there is so uplifting and fun. She creates a enjoyable atmosphere for any occasion. I love it when she’s my server

We came for a UFC event, the venue was super busy so service was a little a slower. Sage the manager was more than incredible in making sure our table was looked after and our stay was super pleasant. Kudos to hiring this manager, she's really good at what she does and we will be back.

Wow, what can I say. I’ve been to a LOT of restaurants but I have to say Noa is hands down the best server I’ve ever had. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. The food was amazing as well. I will definitely be back for all of the reasons above.
