I found an awesome deal online 25% off of shoes I really liked. But it said the store was sold out. I didn't want to pay shipping so I decided to just go to the store to see what else they had. Go figure I find those exact shoes (many pairs, not just one) in the store. I should have been able to buy them online and pick up in store free but because their inventory said they were out I could not. I did ask and was told I could not get the online deal in the store without purchasing online (where it falsely said they were out). This seems really shady that there was no way for them to do something since it is obvious someone on their end dropped the ball updating their inventory online where I should have been able to get the discount. They have a good selection and the guy was nice but it felt like a bait and switch situation.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. On tax-free weekend I was looking for some new sneaks and some converse womens. The new balance I found were not wrung up at the advertised price. When i called and spoke to the manager, he stated the sale was likely over and the register rang it up and another price. He also said they would honor the posted sale price but for some reason, they couldn't just credit my credit card for the difference over the phone. I live by Port SA and therefore had to drive ALL THE WAY BACK OVER THERE FOR THEIR ERROR. I decided to just return the shoes. Lo and behold, the clerk said she couldn't credit me for the donation to the childrens hospital. What donation to the childrens hospital? The prior clerk added some bogus unauthorized amount to my bill. I was steamed. I had not shopped here in years. Will not return.

Used to be a 5* place. It feels low energy now and the awesome wheel has now been removed due to plandemic. I am not afraid of the wheel nor the covid...I would even sign a waiver in order to spin it. Instead they have an online option that the employees aren't allowed to notify you on. Then when you open it..no wheel appears and then when offered a prize due to no wheel...there are no prizes at store. As far as the covid thing....many people touch and try on shoes there....so that's not worse than spinning a wheel? Makes no sense...the wheel made shoe CARNIVAL a fun place and spinning the wheel brings back memories of the good old days.

Great place to get what your feet need! Top brands have great discounts and depending on the season you may get a second pair of shoes for half price...can't beat that! The girls working and cashiers are so friendly and always helpful with a great smile. The atmosphere is great, nice soft music in the background and families always shopping. This store has even installed an indoor basketball hoop for adults and kids to pass time. The managers at this place got it right! So, this store near the airport has earn all five stars; If we could give more stars we would hands down!

They had a total of 4 employees ,I went in and can tell that staff was not properly trained and how to assist customers, I was in for about 10 minutes with staff walking right pass me and not even asking if I need help ,it was until I had to go up to a Hispanic gentlemen and ask him to help me.It was as if the shoe carnival was a help your self location..my overall view is staff need to be made aware that Hospitality is the key to success..With back to school approaching I can tell this wont be a place for me to shop at cause I wont get no help..

I liked Shoe Carnival better than DSW. First of all, Shoe Carnival was easier to navigate, the store personnel were friendly, and it always takes me some time to find a shoe that's a good fit, comfortable, and fits my style. I also got a buy one, get the other pair for half off. DSW on the other hand didn't have that deal and they didn't have my size in most everything I looked at. DSW is geared more toward women and kids. The mens' section is 1/5th to 1/4 of the store. It will be Shoe Carnival for me.

The staff here really does make you feel good. I had bought a pair of shoes but they were too big. So i called and asked if i had till take them back to the store of purchase. Lindsey told me not to worry bring them to any Shoe Carnival and i could exchange them. So visited this store and the employees helped me find the right size. Couldnt ask for a better experience. Thanks to the staff.

Shoes galore. They have different brands like Nike, New Balance, etc. I needed a wide shoe, but they did not have it. They have buy one get one half off deals. Sometimes you get a coupon in their mailouts. They also have a small clearance rack. This was an average experience. I went to Shoe Carnival during Tax Free weekend and there was quite a bit of people in the store. I tried to get some shoes and needed help but all the associates were busy assisting other customers. I did not see this as a bad or good experience but just an average one. Overall: I may or may not return in future as they did not have what I needed.

Lack of customer service is why I walked out without a purchase. I found the shoe I was looking for (Nike Court) but 3 of 3 of the employees I walked by acted like I was invisible. What do these ppl think they go to work to do?? 2 if them were literally doing nothing, the other was moving boxes of Crocs, maybe she can have a pass but it takes NO EFFORT to say "hello".

The staff on hand was very helpful, & I was able to find a couple pairs of shoes that I liked. After I left the store I realize that I really didn't like one of the pairs. . . So I called back and Janice, the manager, was able to help me with the return without even having a receipt witch I had accidentally thrown away. Definitely got themselves a return customer.

Shoes were of great value & no tax weekend since i was the last customer of day; left my phone on counter & returned to fetch whereupon the mgmt opened the door & gave it to me with a smile 45 mins later. Thanks for their honesty & service with a smile. Happy to see quality in shoes & human behaviour which are rare in shopping experiences.

Gotta be my Lucky Day? Walked in found two different pairs perfectly for my needs. Tried both and the fit was excellent on both! PA announcement:. "Buy one, second half off!". No need to decide. At cashier wheel-spin, and another $4 off! Fast and friendly cashier, Valerie. We were in & out in less than 30 minutes, completely satisfied!

Went in for one pair of shoes, ended up with 2. The manager was a huge help and im sorry i didnt get his name but customer service is alive and well in this location. He knew his merchandise and what shoes where available in my difficult size. Hats off to you sir. Also a great deal with buy one get one half off.

This location is clean, organized, and the sales associates are always friendly. Items ordered online are able to be returned in store. One time my son's new shoe had split on the sole and they were happy to replace it, it was within 30 days of purchase. Their buy one get one half off is the best sale.

Don’t get me wrong I love shoe carnival but the girls selection isn’t as good as the boys and they never have the trendy shoes in the right size you always have to order them online. Plus it’s really hot in there because of corona and having to wear a mask.But they have really good deals for shoes.

Customer service issue. There was at least a dozen people in line, it's back to school and only one cashier?!? Manager walked from the back for a register override...just to walk away again without assisting the poor cashier or customers more importantly. Get it together SHOE CARNIVAL!!! …

Amazon right there was one gentleman that was really sweet to help me out the ladies not so much there wasn't really much that they could help me with when I needed some help the gentleman went out his way to help me only reason why I gave it with me I'll give it another shot later on

Buy one get one half off -even on sale priced items my butt! They need to make all their little restrictions known when announcing the sales instead of letting customers know at the last min at the register!! What a bad experience.

This should have been our first stop looking for kids black sneakers. They had the most inventory of any other shoe store we visited. The selection was enormous. Fair prices. Almost guaranteed to have your size in stock. Awesome!

It was ok, a bit expensive, but their system at the cash register is incredibly slow. How does a legitimate retailer have such a slow IT system. Ignorant cashier was just left apologizing with an idiotic look on her face.

Hugh selection of shoes, casual, sports and sandals, but if you're looking for sizes 12 and over, selection is very limited, size 14 wasn't available. Dockers belts are pricey. Good customer service.

I wear a 13w while I understand this is not a common size, most of the men's size were 7-10. Idk why they carry such a large stock of small shoes, but this place is useless if you have larger feet.

Staff very helpful some more than others. Place is clean have variety when shopping for kiddos, and adults. They have a small basketball area as well. Great place would recommend to anyone.

There was a wide variety of shoes and we were told that they price-match online and we found the IDENTICAL shoe from the MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE, but they declined to honor their claim.

Ever Shoe Carnival seldom have mens shoes in sizes larger than 11 1/2 that os my only problem with them, being that I wear 13. Every is clean and the customer service is always good.

I bought shoes for my granddaughter they were too big I returned the shoes and had them replaced and if it really good the clerk was very nice and everything was very good no problem

Their website advertises they have things in stock and ready for pickup. It's not true. They can't even keep inventory properly. I don't recommend this place and will not return.

This place is always the bomb. If they do not have it in stock they will order it and it can be sent to your house, if you have their membership. Staff is always great.
