317- 7 AVE Pharmacy/Prescription Service After looking up this SDM location and hours of operation, noticed how many poor reviews were posted. So thought I would chime-in and share my Pharmacy experiences at this location. On Thursday around 9:30am, picked up my monthly medical supplies at this SDM Pharmacy. While waiting behind one customer, noticed a lady quietly on the phone in the Pharmacy the entire time I was there and the only other employee in Pharmacy was Diana at the counter serving customers. She was very professional, polite and patient with the struggling elderly client ahead of me, even voluntarily offered this client a helpful prescription reminder. Diana then greeted me in a professional friendly manner and quickly processed my order. When I asked she even provided me with an additional service related to my order, at my request, that I was most appreciative. I mentioned to Diana the Pharmacy had substituted an alternate medication on my last order and I questioned why. Diana without hesitation also offered to look into my prescription for the manufacturer status, which was also much appreciated. While at the Pharmacy counter I found it to be comfortable, relaxed, efficient and pleasant interaction with our clear communication regarding my order and service request. I also expressed to Diana how thankful I was to see this location was open so early (7:30am) and for her additional service with my order. My experiences at this SDM Pharmacy is with zero complaints and 100% confidence with reason to express my overall experiences, every month, for the last 5 months at this location/pharmacy counter which has always been quick, professional and personable service. Again I really appreciate the hours of operation, the level of service and respect of Pharmacy employees and for the Pharmacy employees, which I would like to thank Pharmacy Ninja Diana who provided me efficient, excellent service and overall another positive experience - and love this handy location. It is with my understanding and patience also stating there are currently many struggling business’s in Calgary which are slowly recovering from pandemic impactive operational and staffing issues, including employee retention and or employee burnout. Therefore as a customer I am mindful and encourage others also to be showing an abundance of patience, respect and understanding including having clear and friendly communication which better serves Pharmacy and Client outcomes which I find helpful for positive experiences. Realistically I don’t always anticipate 100%, but when I am able to obtain needed medical supplies, I am happy and thankful. Good/excellent customer service = is a bonus!
I'll preface this by saying, the root cause of the problem at this Shoppers is the company itself, and possibly upper management. If you want to have a drug store within a downtown, "upscale" mall, you should be hiring appropriate security. My first warning to all customers - make sure you're dressed in your business attire. Period. I am treated completely differently no matter what I am purchasing if I'm dressed in a skirt & heels vs. shorts and a tank top. I was followed within the store today by a beauty consultant as I grabbed what I needed (of course, for this side of the Shoppers, what I was grabbing are considered premium items... though they're really not). I was trying to grab things as quickly as possible, as of course, I know the drill... no makeup, shorts, tank top, running shoes + buying "expensive" things = being followed. As I was aware that the beauty consultant had started to follow me, I asked her if she could direct me to where the sunscreen was located as it's 30 degrees outside today... she had no idea. As I looked past her, I found the sunscreen I needed, without her help. As she trailed behind me 3 feet, I asked her if her till was open so I could pay for my things. She seemed confused and flustered as we walked back. Once we arrived at the till, she started ringing my things in, and as I used my card to pay she said, "oh great! Everything went through!" On my worst day (which was not this day) even if I wasn't dressed to the nines like I usually am for work, I am far and large less socially awkward, so much more polite, and so much more capable of providing service to ALL (no matter the way they look) than this consultant was today. I believe the motto at this store is = anyone who isn't in business attire and that is buying "expensive" things, is a theif. And it must be hard for them to find staff as I would not have let this consultant give me beauty advice with a 10 foot pole on my worst of days.
I have a long history of shopping at this SDM location - even years ago when it was located on another level of the mall. I had prescriptions filled here, vaccinations, spent loads of money over the years. I donated money to many of the Shoppers Drug Mart campaigns. But it is over. I went into SDM yesterday to splurge on some beauty supplies. My birthday was a few days ago and I thought I would treat myself. As soon as I entered the store a stocky black security guard immediately became fixated on me. I don't know why. The store was busy and what set me apart from the other shoppers? Was my bag suspicious? I was using an old Roots laptop bag as a tote because SDM has no single use bags. Was I supposed to carry everything out in my hands? Did the guard think I was going to stuff merchandise into my bag? Other women around me had bigger purses so I don't know. Something set me apart from the women crowded in the cosmetics and skin care aisles. He followed me everywhere like a shadow. I couldn't help but stare at him because he was like a conjoined twin. Browsing was impossible with him standing there glaring. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I gave up. I went to the self check out with the 5 items that I had. The security guard followed me there and stood a few feet away. He closely watched me like I was a thief. He watched as I picked up each of the 5 items and scanned them and waited until the receipt was printed. It was midday and the store was busy so many people witnessed this. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated with him standing there. Yet I did nothing wrong. This SDM lost out on a much bigger sale because I never completed my shopping. I will never shop at this SDM - or SDM in general - because of the actions of this security guard.
I shouldn't have to write a review for a chain place like this, but from my 20 second experience there, I will. I'm on a very busy schedule, trying to work a full-time job at a retail place in this mall as well as a part-time job as an illustrator. I barely had time to fit in my prescription appointment, and with my health card expired, I had to pay out of pocket. No issue. I'm coming to close to the end of my shift, after being slammed with customers all day (has been quite busy for the past few days), and I run towards this location so I can get my birth control. 3 ladies are probably in the process of counting inventory or something, and one approaches after I moved to another till. I show her my prescription, she tells me to go to the Drop Off one. Another lady approaches, and here's where my experience turned into an awful end of day. She looks at my prescription, and goes: "this will be for tomorrow, because we're 15min. away from closing", and this, is where the experience went to the drain. "You got this prescription since September 26, you had all this time to get your medication, but we're closing, so come back tomorrow". I'm holding off as much as I can not to curse at her, that was incredibly rude. She has NO idea what my schedule is like, and I get it people on retail tend to have terrible days, but part of your job is to be professional to customers regardless of your emotions. Had she told me "sorry, we're closing, but please come back tomorrow so I can give you your medication", this wouldn't have been an issue. It's not like I stormed in, demanded my medication for free and then cursed. I calmly asked for my birth control. Whomever "helped" me today, I hope you have a nice day and truly hope you improve your people skills.
Yesterday, I visited Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up a prescription. Upon arrival, I approached the counter and stated, "Hello, I'm here to pick up a prescription from my clinic..." The staff member interrupted to ask for my birthday, which I provided. After confirming my identity, she then instructed me to visit the drop-off section first. Consequently, I went to the drop-off counter where a different staff member assisted me. She found my prescription and asked me to return after 40 minutes for pickup. I returned to the pickup counter 40 minutes later, saying, "Hello, I've come to collect my prescription. My birthday is..." As I was speaking, the same staff member from before interrupted me, stepping back with a slow blink and a subtle nod. She also gestured with her hands open as if to slow me down and stated, "You only need to give me your birth date." I continued providing my details and she acknowledged in a rather underwhelmed manner. Upon locating my prescription, she began discussing something using complex medical terms, which was hard for me to understand. When I asked for clarification, she sighed noticeably, then rephrased her explanation with an evident undertone of disappointment. This time, her explanation was clearer and she asked if I needed more information. Although I strive not to judge others harshly, I feel this staff member could have conducted herself more empathetically. While this may have been a routine process for her, it was a crucial part of managing my health for me.
I am not sure how to describe my experience today 01-Aug-2023 around 14:10 at Shoppers Drug Mart at TD Core shopping mall. I have never made felt more descriminated and humiliated in my life. I walked into Shoppers drug mart from 4th St LRT station after work, as soon as I entered the door a female employee started following me. I noticed same employee brought a security guard dressed in black from Blackbird security company, and pointed towards me. Security guard started following me, standing right next to me while I was trying to shop. I felt so uncomfortable that shopping was not an option, I went upto security guard and inquired why he is so close to me. Security guard replied " I am doing my job" , I told security I saw employee pointing at me, if there is something I am doing wrong let me know because staff and your behavior by profiling me as " unwanted" or " shoplifter" is not appropriate. I wanted to speak with Store manager but no one was available , I tried calling 1-800-SHOPPERS,no one attanded. Reading past reviews about SDM at Core shopping mall it seems to be reoccurring customer experience and SDM management seems to be least bothered to amend. I don't want a reply from SDM saying "sorry" or share more details at 1-800-SHOPPERS; how many more complaints do you need, fix the issue and get back after the issue is resolved. I would request others to raise their concerns and protest unjustified policies. Thank you.
Since I moved to Calgary I have not had a single good experience here. The employees seem to lack competence. They won't check if a perception is ready and was told to "come back" yet it was ready. When submitting a perception they couldn't grasp what a deductible is. It had to be explained more then once. But here's what gets me I went there to pick something up with my wife. It was labeled for 7.49 but it scanned $14.95 I asked them what happened and SUSAN stood there staring at the screen with a dead look in her face. I then told her maybe we should check the shelf which I showed her and she kept running in circles and making excuses and told us to wait. My wife who was with my at the time is in extreme pain and suffering for a stage 4 lymphoma and can't function well and we were left standing there. I told Susan I just wanted to check out and leave but she called another department and kept wasting our time. While a cancer patient is struggling to stand. I almost lost it. Seriously this place needs new staff in all departments. This place is a joke.
Came in today to buy a product. There were sale tags everywhere, so I picked up the item, stood in line, and the cashier tells me the item isn't on sale. They call up this extremely incompetent sales merchandising woman, she comes back with the tag that says the item is on sale. The cashier gets confused and realizes that she gave the wrong item to the merchandiser to check, so she goes back. Meanwhile I'm standing there and 7 people already got rung through... I come up to the merchandiser and she claims the item isn't on sale. I inform her that there is no tag, and that I have been waiting and 7 people have already passed me. She raises her voice to let me know that there is no tag, and they get ripped off all the time, the item isn't on sale, and asks rudely "do you want this or not?". I was so frustrated, I left all my items and left the store, and called the manager..... unreal. How dare you speak to a customer like that. Never will I ever shop at this Shoppers again.
It was a very offensive when the security guy on duty would obviously follow me like I'm going to steal something! I tried to just walk in the store to see if he is just happened to do his walk around the store or he is following me but it was clearly I'm his target. he kept following me until I paid for my shopping and leave. clearly is not a professional in his job when he makes shoppers uncomfortable with their shopping experience, I mean it's pharmacy and some people need privacy in their shopping, and he was few steps behind me looking on what I'm getting! I checked Google reviews and it's look like it's common thing in that store and clearly the Owner or the associate doesn't care about that. I worked for Shoppers for 4 years and I know when the Owner is care about the review or if she doesn't. I don't recommend that location, especially when you can get same things few steps away from that store!
i have been going to this pharmacy for a couple months before i switched to a new one because of how the staff has treated me here. i have health benefits which i know work or don’t expire and they have been over charging me every single time by $45 i have asked them multiple times if they are putting the numbers in wrong and every time they have snapped at me and said it was my insurance company and not them. I then contacted my insurance company and they said it is nothing on their half and it has to be the staff inputing the numbers wrong. The way they treat their customers is honestly disgusting. Ever since i have switched to a different location i have been charged the correct amount with no issues, i have contacted this shoppers over the phone telling them what has happened and if there’s any way i can he refunded for all of the over charges and i for attitude and then hung up on.
This Shoppers location is a bit odd and I have to give it a mixed rating. Positives: Been dealing with the pharmacy for two years now and the older lady who deals with prescription pick ups is always polite with a generous smile. The other pharmacy staff are efficient and professional all in all. So , +++ on that end. On the other hand ...the store layout is terrible with half of it given to higher end beauty products- I realize that is where the profit is , but it really undermines the usefulness of this Shoppers Drugmart store from a downtown Calgary customer perspective- fewer products, everything else is crowded, frequently long lines at tills, often frazzled cashiers. Lastly in the winter it is silly that one set of doors don't work or are closed off to save energy-- so customers must walk further to get in and get out...poorly thought out layout
I once thought this location was convenient because they are right below my doctor. I couldn't have been more wrong. On multiple occasions the staff was either rude or unhelpful, both on the phone and in person. This included when just visiting for simple refills and involved the pharmacist and especially the staff at the counter. The final nail was when they refused to renew a prescription (standard, non-controlled medication) when I realized I would be short while away for work and offered no suggestions, not even phoning my doctor for a refill, something they offer as a service. Luckily I spoke with another pharmacist at a different location who was more than happy to help me. Judging from the comments and reviews online, this is not a one time incident and has been ongoing. Shoppers should really investigate this store and implement some changes.
I've always had unpleasant experienced at this pharmacy location but continued to use them out of sheer convenience. My prescriptions aren't for medical conditions, so I can't speak for the pharmacists, but the front staff were VERY unreasonably rude literally as soon I encountered them in every way possible. My doctor was supposed to fax a prescription to them (and have done so previously without any issues) but she claimed to have never gotten them and gave me a lot attitude in both her tone of voice and in the way looked at me. I would normally brush this sort of thing off but I found today's experience to be very offensive. I started talking back and look at her the same way she has been, and that was when she finally called a pharmacist who offered to call the doctor and refill a month worth of prescription
Would give 0 stars if I could. I just moved here from another province and the pharmacist team declined to give me medication essential for treating my insomnia due to PTSD because they were unfamiliar with my dosage, even though I have been taking this medication for years with no problem. They did this immediately before the Thanksgiving long weekend so I won’t be able to contact my pharmacist in my native province for help and withdrawal from the medication can land me in the hospital. The most careless pharmacist I’ve ever encountered, I am transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy after just experiencing this pharmacist’s attitude once. My health is worse off after visiting this pharmacy and putting my faith in them to be professionals.
I was there in Shoppers earlier picking up my prescription and a couple other items. I needed to use the washroom but of course the washrooms in the mall and also Bankers were closed. I asked a couple of ladies that worked there in shoppers if I could use their washroom , but they had said that it is only for the staff. They would not let me use the washroom and I did go before I left home but needed to use washroom while I was out doing errons. So , what are people suppose to do? Go outside in the corner somewhere, not as easy for women!! Its either that or have an accident in your pants! Omg! I was very upset about this! I think they should let people use their washroom since there is only a few people in the store.
Stopped by to grab a small travel lock. Asked a clerk busy unpacking boxes if they would have them. She gave me a choice of two aisles that they "might" be in. I guess unpacking a box was more important than helping a customer. I did find them in the second choice. While I was looking at the choices of locks another clerk came up. It must have been a critical part of his duties to put the two bottles of travel shampoo on the shelf right in front of me. So critical I was asked to move so he could finish this all important task. Funny how neither one sees helping a customer as a priority. I hung the lock back up on the hook and went and bought one somewhere else. Next time, I'll go somewhere else first.
You should fire your staff with the long crazy hair color and eyeglasses! Very rude. I was checking perfumes and she showed up and asked me if i need anything looking at me like a thief! I said No thanks im good thou. And what she did is she started to blocking that shelves of perfume in front of me and started to organized sruffs like really. Maybe you can do that when im done. Check your cctv if im lying. When i got to choose the perfume she is looking at me like what the heck! I go direct to self check out and payed. Maybe you are earning more than me but i am pretty sure that i am not a thief. My goodness people are being judgemental.
This review is for the front store, the security guy ( black, short and fat guy ) kept following me from the entrance until I paid for my shopping and got out, I know this location is popular for methadone patient and located in place where the homeless can target it to steal stuff but that doesn't justify the security guy to follow shoppers and make their experience unpleasant. I was going to talk to him but being followed like master followed by a dog I let that passed for few minutes. Please, tell him how to do his job because clearly he is just another useless employee getting paid to make shoppers to avoid going there.
Rude overwhelmed pharmacy staff. Completely unwilling to exercise customer service since its sounds like they're too busy. Didn't see my prescription that had been faxed 1.5 hours earlier and then refused to highgrade the timing so I could pick it up, despite the fact I'm tied up in meetings for the afternoon and its for an infection I need treated immediately. I pulled the prescription and won't go back, ever. Very different from the Lakeview location where I know the pharmacist and customer service is of utmost priority. If they're too busy - deal with it with more staff but don't make it difficult to get a prescription.
Let’s start by saying the 5 stars is strictly for the beauty boutique. Living in the area, this is now my go to location since i can walk to it. Shaleena is helpful EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME IN. Regardless if i go in full face of makeup, or i come in bare face, she is there to help and make suggestions, and most importantly she listens to me in what i am looking for. I cannot wait for the new beauty boutique location to open at the end of the month. I have used the pharmacy, the staff are hit and miss, some were friendly and helpful, others maybe not so much. I have only been there once for pharmacy, but i will come back.
Pharmacy never answer customer calls tries 4 times today every time put on hold and never returned after holding 30 minutes happened 3 time than tried calling customer service to get hold of Manager same story, kept on hold never answered phone. Is this number one chain of stores in Canada have below average customer experience This pharmacy canceled our covid 19 vaccination by calling an hour before appointment by saying we will call you when we have in stock, didn't call for 4 days when we followed up, they say we need to book appointment again a fresh, while in conversation bangged the phone
The downtown branch does not honor offers shown in customers' PC optimum program. The store manager prohibits manual price adjustments to match PC offers because it's apparently not their problem, and this has occured to multiple customers according to the cashier. All other Shoppers locations have done price adjustments for me, so it's poor customer service and a terrible way to promote brand loyalty. This branch also has really incompetent staff. They don't know their product offerrings nor do they attempt to help you. Not sure why these people are on the payroll if all they do is stand around.
Yesterday I came in to buy some frozen meals on my lunch break. I slipped on some b salt and almost fell. I said to my coworker”. Oh no, I almost fell. “It was then I was told by the staff member named Shawna “ it’s just salt , cover it up with a stool or something “ she then aggressively shoved a stool over it while glaring at us and continued to March past us glaring a few times . Shocking horrible customer service skills . I have talked to other people and “ shawna “ ( grey hair , 60 ish years old no name tag ) makes it a habit of being downright nasty to customers. I WON’T be back .
Went to the pharmacist for some Advice and to see if there was anything else I could take for my symptoms. The pharmacist said nothing there was nothing she could do and that I should go to a doctor. I then decided to walk any another pharmacy and asked again, was given some solid advice on how to treat it at home And the other pharmacist prescribed me a numbing cream ( I was in severe pain) and a steroid to help me until I could see a doctor. So so disappointed with shoppers. Was my go to but now will go to the pharmacist who was actually interested in helping
Came here to visit looking for a particular perfume, all dressed up nicely cause we came there from a grad photoshoot. It was a very uneasy feeling, offensive at most that the guard on duty would obviously follow us as if we’re a threat. Would definitely do not shop here again. It’s just sad that your intentions are pure and they made you feel as if you’re gonna steal everything in their store! I am so disappointed. I feel like this is downward racism as well. Very impolite people in this store. I don’t recommend people to go here.
I go to this location because I work in the area. The other day, on my break, I went down to buy a new transit pass on my break. The line-up was 6 people deep because all they have are a million self-checkouts and one cashier. I decided I would come back on my lunch. Except when I did, again the line was 6 people deep! The sweet elderly lady in front of me couldn't find another employee to complain to, meanwhile when I go in there, security is watching me like a hawk, despite the fact that I obviously work in the area.
The pharmacy has the rudest people. I went to go inquire about a vaccine and got told rudely that it’s only between 10 and 4. Most people work during these times. Then got told that because the store was closing in about 30-45 mins their focus was on filling prescriptions. Overall this was not the first time they’ve been rude. There’s only so many times you can take it. Something really needs to be done, it makes the company look bad. And I only go to this shoppers because it’s closest to me.
This is based on one experience today. Samples are for paying customers. I requested samples at the cashier. I saw the agent put away the fragrance samples and gather many packets, and I did not specify which samples I needed so I let it slide. When I got home, I found out she gave me FIVE samples of a moisturizer for men !!!! and a wrinkle cream that I didn’t need. Totally disappointed and samples should not be accessed by junior customer care agents. Not making a purchase there again.
I have had my prescriptions all transferred over to a new pharmacy, and suggest any potential clients avoid this place at all costs. The pharmacists are incredibly rude and unhelpful (in my 10+ interactions with them over the last 2 years). They recently faxed over an incorrect and expired prescription over to my new pharmacy which could not be filled. They seem extremely disorganized and like they were doing me a favour by answering any questions I had. So happy I switched!
I went to the pharmacy in shopper today. The filipino girl staff was really rude. I came to the counter to ask whether they take the Covid test appointment. She was sitting in the back and refused to come to the counter which still maintains the distance. While I were asking, she was too far to answer it clearly. She even didn’t hear my question and responded me by pointing to the sign and ask me to read with an annoying attitude. Not welcome any customers to the pharmacy???
Every time I go to get my prescription they say be back in half an hour, I usually give them 40 minutes because it’s never half an hour. Today I was told after 40 minutes that it was gunna be another 15! I understand it’s a weird time but if it going to take an hour just tell me! And maybe tell the pharmacy staff to acknowledge customers standing there, they seem more interested in chatting with each other than helping me. Easily the worst shoppers pharmacy to go to.
Not impress with some of the clerk staff in shoppers at downtown location. The paper towels was on sale however the shelf was bare. The first clerk I approach said without hesitation no more left. Then I asked the second clerk where can I get rain check for your out of stock paper towels. The second clerk said I will check downstairs. She came back with boxes of paper towels to fill the shelf. Simply the first clerk is lazy and just wants to get paid doing nothing.
The team at checkout pharmacy neglect customers in line and instead will just take anyone that walks up to them out of the blue while looking at the lineup of people waiting to speak to him when suggested he take into account the lineup his response was ‘noted’ disrespectful and rude the first time I’ve come to this shoppers and was dealt with so poorly, honestly it’s a disgrace to the shoppers name. Hire people that actually want to do their job.
If you need help or are in a pinch go anywhere but here. I needed to pick up a prescription and was there a minute before closing but they threw their hands up saying "they took our tills" Dessie me calling ahead. I don't know what that means and frankly don't care. The staff and pharmacists there are unhelpful idiots beholden to rules they pluck out of thin air. Do yourself and your health a favour and go somewhere else.
These guys are the worst - they only open to do anything between 10 and 4pm. Realistically who can get travel and park at their location for shots during work hours? Most ridiculous lazy group I've encountered - this is why downtown is falling apart because of these unprofessional staff. Also interesting their social media team keeps asking customers to call their hotline. When's you call, nobody ever picks up
Shop here regularly, first time asking for assistance today and I made the mistake of asking Anna who works in the makeup department. Anna was completely rude, instantly responded with a cold “what” and then “wouldn’t know, I work over there” pointing to the makeup department (I was asking about shampoo for my girlfriend) without even stopping once. Was an embarrassing and poor customer service experience.
Im currently sitting in the waiting area and there’s 5 employees including the pharmacist just chatting it up. I’ve been waiting for my injection that takes 20 seconds that I called in for beforehand. There’s 0 people in the waiting room or at the till but I’ve been sat here for 30 minutes with no explanation. At the very least tell me what’s going on instead of ignoring me when I’m literally 3 feet away
I have been dealing with them for about 10 years. During the pandemic I chose one closer to home but soon switched back because they are efficient and also caring people. In the last year they have been severely overworked. So many demands what with vaccines and tests, etc. It is not much different than the health care workers right now. I would still recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
This store took my passport photo. They took the money but did not give me the photo. I went there 3 times to at least get a refund or photo. The passport supervisor told me she is the manager, and there is no one else you can complain to. There is practically no control over the shoppers' stores. Essentially, they are stealing from customers without any customer service even caring.
This shop had defiantly brought down the reputation of shoppers as a whole. Especially the pharmacy team here, rude, impatient, bad customer service, bad communication skills. I don’t know if this shoppers just hire random people, please train your employees, they have 0 communication skill, 0 customer service skill, WORST experience ever!!!!! Please train them :)
They didn't get my sister her crest white strips she paid for at the till, and she left with the display box. Went into store, to speak with management- they were so rude and have somehow said that's my sisters fault. LOL. Told me to come back or sent an email to speak to the actual store manager. Sent a complaint email 4 days ago still heard nothing back.
Asked to get my prescription transferred to this location because its near me. And the lady on the phone had no idea what i was talking about said i didn't have any prescriptions on file and couldn't do that and was very rude. When i finally explained in more detail she was like OH. People need to listen to the original question and not just assume.
Yesterday, I went to this location for the first and last time. The male employee there (i dnt knw his name) with long hair was extremely rude . He was yelling at customers for no reason . this is not the way you treat the customers. The staff needs proper training on how to provide good customer service. Ridiculous customer service.
I think they need to bring the security guards back. On my last visit, a drug addicted panhandler stepped in front of me while I was in line at the cashier and hit me up for money and practically drooled on my jacket in the process. He got nothing, but I was still left feeling violated and upset that this is happening in the store.
Usually when I come here it’s decent, I phone to get my prescriptions filled and then I come pick it up. Pharmacists are super nice and take the time to answer any questions you may have but the assistances are almost always rude- the lady with the black hair and the two yellow highlights at the front of her hair especially.
Reading reviews written before, I come to the conclusion that writing another negative review is useless as the situation seems to be the same. So I will not waste my time describing all the situation. In short, I had horrible experience at this branch today. Poor customer service, rude employees, misguiding policies.
Shoppers always has what you need, good shopping experience as always, with friendly staff Edita was very kind and happy to help me out. She gave me excellent service in the perfume department. I was really impressed with her knowledge Thank you very much Edita It will be my shoppers of choice as long as I’m around
This shoppers location is always fun to go to. It can be busy at times. As they say, it really depends on the time of the day you go. Staff are helpful and will take you directly to the spot for the item you are looking for. I like this location primarily for the deals I get when items are on a sale.
I just want to share my experience with the beauty boutique expert Edyta. She is very helping and always replies me without getting impatient. Unlike other shoppers that I visited so far this shoppers beauty boutique delivers better services and I am glad that I was attended by Edyta.
hours are incorrect. sign says 10am and when my partner tried to visit the store at 7:30 an employee rudely told him “10:00! go away!” and proceeded to make sure the door was locked. need to update your hours because it was an emergency and we would’ve gone somewhere else had we known
The lead pharmacist at this location is SO rude and unapproachable, and has been that way for years. I have no idea why she chose this as her profession because she seems to hate dealing with human beings. If you have a question about anything pharmacy-related, take it elsewhere.
Not only did the pharmacist have her procedures wrong, she was rude to me, my doctor's staff and another Shopper's Drugmart pharmacist. Asked to speak to the Associate (owner) - she passed me to the pharmacist who hung up on me! I'm glad you're busy. Good luck staying so.
Great pharmacy. Super convenient and also has the best pharmacy app at least in my experience. That plus convenient shopping makes Shoppers Core our first choice for our pharmacy needs. ps Barb is incredible and works so hard! Give that woman a raise! She's fantastic!
The Pharmacy was very helpful on renewing an emergency prescription I needed on my travels. They communicated fast to my pharmacy back home to transfer my history and they kindly took the time to make sure they looked into all the ways for me to have the best care.
I'm considering leaving this pharmacy for another one. Requested a prescription refill online but looks like they cancelled it? I called to ask why but immediately got put on hold, waited a long time, and then was hung up on while I explained. Very unprofessional.
During the lunch and after work rush - all staff need to be on tills. The long waits to pay make you reconsider your purchases. Grocery shelf is great to pick up the few items you need - would like eggs added. Consider expanding your hours past 6PM.
Like most downtown stores prices are artificially inflated and ridiculous, at one time Shoppers Drug Mart could be known for good bargains and savings....'Not Anymore'....I went from shopping once a week to shopping once a month or not at all!
Don't go to this shoppers drug Mart.. I go to this shoppers in TD core and the beauty boutique never tells you what offers are available such as gift with purchase. I would recommend go to Shoppers on 17 Ave SW. Will not recommend. If you
Ever since Loblaws purchased Shoppers this location has gone so downhill. They are always out of stock of way too many items. It's convenient for me to go here since I work downtown and can pick up a few basic items, but pains me more and
I have always been a shoppers fan, and big optimum points advocate but now even more so. The beauty boutique at this location has all the best brands! Zach did my makeup today for a day in Banff. I wanted natural and that’s what I got! I
Several years ago I was prescribed 75 MG of Trazodone. I can't understand why Shoppers doesn't carry it in the 75 MG pill. That is all I've got it in until I started coming to this store. Can we do something about this. I don't really
GET RID OF THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, UNTRAINED & PATHETIC security company : "Black Terd/Bird" Shoppers Drug Mart Can DO Better ! The SOLICITORS GENERAL OFFICE Will Look into the UNprofessional Matters.
Pharmacy staff 2 of them have a really poor attitude toward customers. I had to remind them of my prescription refill for insulin and I got a surly response then hung up on! Not impressed . …
Not sure where the normal pharmacist went. But this new one in charge is rude, mean and ignorant. She treats clients like garbage. Not sure why she's working there if she hates her job.
Had a great experience today. I was confused about some pricing & PC optimum specials....2 staff were EXTREMELY helpful to me. Huge shout-out to Jocelyn & her cashier friend:)
I wanted to book Covid testing over the phone - waited 20 minutes and got kicked around between different people until they told me that I needed to book through DynaLife.
This store is very very messy! Every time I went there, the staff just made some mistakes in my transaction. Unstable and disordered store and staffs.
Price gouging to the max!! Makeup is ridiculously overpriced. 25$ for Mascara you find at Walmart or Amazon for 8$. Don't support this!!
I paid 240$ for a FREE vaccine. What a rubbish scammer. I can’t complain enough. This pharmacy should go out of business immediately!
Staff also helpful and Nice place for regular shopping. Variety of items available here. Very busy store.
