Whilst it was clean and I could read all the sign postings here, there was a homeless person sat near the main area. This discouraged me from fulling taking in the area as it should be (worth going to and learning the history of the area). As a budding photographer, would have loved to take some shots of the main statue, but as described previously, those shots would've included a homeless person.. not the end of the world

It’s a great park with chinese history in calgary clearly explained in the sign. There’re also a nice river view. You may see bridges along the coast as well. There’re quite a lot of wide animals such as geese and birds. It’s good to enjoy sunshine while walking/ biking in the park. There is a large grass area for you to rest on as well.

Well maintained park even in winter time. It is more of a relaxation park for corporate runners during lunch time. If it's a leisurely walk, then you can access several other nice places within half hour walk. Eau Claire, Pricencess Island park, Peace Bridge, are to the west. Riverfront walkway, new zoo suspension bridge are to the east.

  • Andy Perrin

My daughter and I were in the area to take pictures for one of her school projects. When all of a sudden a homeless person started yelling and screaming for no apparent reason. It frightened my daughter, although I reassured her she's fine because I'm with her. We left shortly after, and we'll never be back.

Definitely one of the better views of the city. Great for a little walk, place to park if you're going downtown and don't mind climbing a hill to get back or place to take some scenic photos. Half of this park is an off leash dog park, keep that in mind as there is a ton of dogs running around usually

  • Eilleen V

Awesome little park! Lots of benches and trees and public art to enjoy. Riverside with a beautiful view. There are lots of geese in this area and they are usually ok... But they can be a bit aggressive/defensive around dogs so I'd recommend giving them plenty of space if passing through your pup.

Very nice park with the touch to Chinese history. It is better to come here through the Chinese district so that you can dive into the atmosphere from the beginning. Interesting installation, some benches to sit & relax. From this place you can continue to another park which is just beside.

Best Park in the city of calgary. I moved out here and have spent a lot of time around the parks in the area. (They all run together.) I really enjoy everything this part of the city has to offer. I suggest if you are even here as a tourist stop by and check out these parks.

Bersih 4 Canada is happening in Calgary, Alberta - at Sien Lok Park (2 blocks from Prince Island Park). It is on Saturday (August 29th, 2015) starting at 2pm Mountain Time. Everyone is encourage to join this meaningful rally. Please help to spread the word. Thank you.

  • Adam Flewe

Great park to visit if you find yourself near the river or in Chinatown. Lots of benches to pop a squat and people watch or nature watch. Would definitely recommend exploring other parts of this area as well. Can get quite a bit busy with lots of bikes in the summer.

  • MovieBuffReal The Second

Named after a so-called society which was incorporated to preserve Chinese culture in city of Calgary, this in fact is a piece of land with a few benches and monuments erected to keep the Chinese happy so they could be proud that they have a park in Calgary!

  • Seth Leon

When it's a Chinook, do not have a beer and sit there enjoying the amazing view. On a winter Saturday when it's unseasonably warm, and everyone is out enjoying the city. Do not grab a seat and have a beer.

  • Craig Smith

There really isn't much here, and there are some large condo buildings under construction, so it's not a great place to hang out. There are other, better places to hang out on the river.

  • Perry Senko

Nice place, a group of bengal owners are meeting there sat and sun 1 pm to walk our cats All cats welcome Wish the city would clean the geese poop off the grass like the other cities do

  • Simon Nettleton

Lots of great Chinese restaurants here. Right across from the park. Go for a walk, sit on a bench to think or just people watch. Or Hope on a scooter and scoot up and down the pathway

  • Your Advice For Life

Nice place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Unique sculptures make a nice photographic backdrop. There is enough walking space to allow for exercise and dog parks are close by.

  • Kyle Lane

Stopped here on our bike ride along the pathway. Great spot on a Sunday afternoon with lots of local culture taking place. Enjoyed a group practicing some dances with dragons.

  • Ehab Kardouh

This is a great park, but there is one of the art sculptures that needs to be fixed as it misses few parts of ut and I showed that with pictures I took using my phone. More

If I were to remember right was spending time with someone I find to be important in my life but I don't think it is mutual or if it is she's very closed off about that...

  • Fuyu

A neat little park that connects to the riverwalk paths. Prefect place to meet up with people and go for a walk. Also has some pokestops for kids to play pokemon go.

It is a small park-like space with an obelisk in the middle and a few benches. No restrooms. Very little shade, but close to the river.

Not much of a view. It is also broken up by pathways so you can only sit on the benches a watch people walk around.

Nice park. Kept very clean. Would be more aesthetically pleasing if the segway tour container thing wasn't there.
