I don't drink coffee, but I love a good soy chai latte. I can't have dairy, so I find soy milk to be the best tasting to use in a chai latte. I just moved to Australia in December 2021, and I've been searching for that chai latte you want to go back for. And I finally found it in a quiet picturesque town in a one-of-a-kind coffee shop called Silva. If you are a coffee drinker who cares about the coffee you drink, then you know when you’ve had a good cup of coffee. The same goes with a chai latte. I've thrown out chai lattes after one taste. Chai lattes should not be overly sweet like Starbucks, and they should not be made with a flavoured syrup in my opinion. A nice chai latte feels lovely to drink. It slows you down to enjoy the experience that the flavours invoke in you. To me a delicate, smooth, ‘just the right amount of froth’ chai latte will be steeped with spices that instantly hit you and make your taste buds come alive. At the same time, it warms you because the spices used in chai lattes are one's that bring you to that sense of sitting by a fire place all warm and cozy with your favourite hot beverage. Where in that moment you have this quiet joy knowing that nothing else matters. The spices are also grounding in a way that makes you feel at home in yourself. The chai latte at Silva's spice mix was all these things and more - a beautiful blend with one not overpowering the other. The froth was just right, and I love the hint of sweetness with the touch of honey they use. For a place that is known for their coffee I hope this review helps you to be also known for your 5-star chai latte. I will be coming back.
What a pleasant surprise! It was so nice to see a good roastery out in the high country. They source their own coffee, and I was stoked to find and absolutely banging Timor Leste coffee there. The shop is beautiful, I visited at the right time of year, that's for sure. All the time is a good time, but autumn is special in high country. These guys are pretty special, too. The shop is busy and located next to the water wheels. It's like some alpine village from the German Alps in parts of Warburton. It's very beautiful. Coffee and cakes were good, although I do prefer a punchier 5oz cup. Everything was grand though, the staff were really cool. The guy with the beard was really keen on his beans, but honestly, I never let my own knowledge slip unless I'm asked. So it was nice to see someone enthusiastic. The girls were tok busy to talk. Oh, nor to mention that the Kenyan filter was spot on. I had a coffee, a snack, bought a bag of beans, and cycled back to Lilydale. That's extra 250g weighed me down. Be careful of loading up on coffee, as there's a 1/50 and a 1/40 gradient back to Lillydale. Keep up the amazing work. It was a great experience. I was also high AF off the ride there, highly recommended. Start at Lilydale, think of Silva Coffee; then it's like dangling a carrot isn't is.

I have sipped upon many coffees, from many beans. So many that doubt even the gods could count the amount. Yet today I'm blessed with a coffee of the highest quality, that met my highest expectation. I have been to silva many times and am always happy, and today's PNG batch brew was pure joy. If you are one to embrace the versatility of coffee flavour and explore the depth of flavour nuances, i do recommend. I do wish there were some savoury vegan options. This doesn't take away from how delishous the hempseed bar is ♡•♡

Fantastic coffee roasters! Picked up a 500g bag of No. 5 Seasonal Organic for my Aeropress. I used a medium-fine grind size. It was mind-blowing. First time I have ever enjoyed a long black. The pastries were incredibly light and crisp with excellent flavour. The lindt chocolate brownie was dense and thick. Well worth finding a park and making the time to visit. It seems many of the locals are also frequent visitors making for a very authentic experience.

Seriously under statement. I came to this little gem not knowing how good their soy latte was. I just came down from a long hike at Mt Donna Buang on the way back to Melbourne and felt newd a little coffee kicked, and seriously amazed with rhe the quality of the beans. I reckon one of the best coffee that I ever tasted. I know my coffee as I used to be a barista owned a coffee shop a while back. Well done guys, I hope I can come back and paying more time to enjoy coffee dine in over there.
My partner booked a coffee tasting. Cleo was super helpful and informative. We were taken through the different scents and smells of ground coffee, the origins of the beans, how they are roasted along with being able to taste test 4 varieties of coffee. I highly recommend this even for those who aren't coffee lovers. We couldn't leave without purchasing the Bom Jesus blend. This coffee is from my birth place in Brazil which brought back many fond memories. It was very fun and hands on.
What an amazing experience. If you are a coffee lover and always think that why there are not many Coffee Tasting places like Wine Tasting, then stop looking and just go to the Silva coffee roasters. This place is magical and all the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place to all the coffee lovers. Their Ethiopian and Brazilian beans were my favourite which I can't wait to try at home.
Dropped in for a coffee with another about 10 people. Coffee was excellent. Even though I am trying to stay away from sweets I could not stick to my guns. Tried few different types including pistachio cake, Portuguese tarts and they all fantastic. Top of that service is 5 stars.

The best coffee in Warburton, hands down! They also supply all the cafes around with beans but the coffee served here is next level. Also make a mean chai. I grab some coffee beans from Silva every time I visit Warby. They have a great selection and you can try them in your coffee. Lovely pastries if you get in early. Love this little place!

Fantastic cafe with beautiful shop found in Warburton. The staff were inviting and helpful when I peppered them with questions. Have to agree with a previous poster that service was a tad slow, BUT hands down best magic we've had in a while, and we used to live in the CBD! Also, the Guji Tade GG beans were exceptional in both Chemex and iced down. Thank you kindly Silva team!
One of the best coffees we have had! We have been to Warburton thrice and have visited this Cafe every time. The staff is warm and friendly and their coffee smells as well as tastes great. Have not eaten much except for a savoury and a sweet item but those also have been delicious. Would love to come back soon.

Really really good Coffee, they often say there will be a little wait for the coffee but that’s okay as the coffee is 100% worth it. Was great to have such a great coffee after a hike in the morning and it is situated is a great location underneath the water wheel. So I can’t recommend this place more

Fantastic coffee! They roast their own coffee, most (if not all) are organic and plenty of light roast options. Such smooth, aromatic coffee. Has been a game changer really. Additionally, customer service was great too. Staff took time to chat to us, understand our coffee needs, and made great recommendations. Thanks team!
This is one of the best cafes I've ever been to. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the coffee is superb. We had a coffee flight complete with tasting guide, savoury tart, seasonal fruit tart and a pair of cinnamon cruffins. It was all exceptional. It's worth making a trip to Warburton just for Silva's
Great find in Warburton. Don't know when this place opened but haven't seen them before... Absolutely some of the best coffees I have tried and even the most places in the CBD can't compete with these guys! Hopefully it is consistent. Tried the soy cap and regular latte and both yum. The brekkie bun was yum too!
Lovely coffee served, a must visit if you’re in the area. And do give the desserts a shot as well. We had the chocolate alfajor and ended up taking away a few more :)

Amazing local coffee roaster situated in Warburton, right next to the tourist information centre. It is hard to miss the architectural building or the colourful steps next to it. They serve delicious coffees and pastries. There is also a wide array of coffee beans and accessories on sale.
Had a regular flat white. This is the best coffee I've ever had. I drink lots of flat white from various upmarket cafes in Melb metro area and nothing beats this. I even bought a bag of beans and will try replicate it at home :)

Friendly and welcoming with excellent coffee. Though 10 minutes wait for 2 lattes is a long time especially when it was only mildly busy and there were 3 people on the espresso machine. I will still go back for the coffee, and hopefully they can speed up their process.
amazing coffee and food from staff who care about their coffee, don't look any further when in Warburton and if you have some spare cash, I recommend lashing out on a jar of the Moroccan relish - it is delish!
